On May 25th, 2023, Aaron and crew from the Knoxville, TN (Hayslip Rd. Address) showed up at our home to fell a large pine tree, which was caught up in a small hickory tree. My husband watched the process and said that all he saw was one rope to brace the full weight of the pine; placed maybe midway, if not closer to the trunk of this 30 ft. tree. As soon as Aaron removed some of the limbs, the full weight of the pine came down splitting the young, healthy hickory into. The front portion of the hickory fell towards our home nearly knocking Aaron from the bucket on the boom truck across the top of their truck and onto the roof of our home. Thank goodness the portion that fell, did not hurt Aaron and did no damage to our home. I contacted Rick, who wrote up the proposal to let him know what happened and he told me not to worry about a thing, that any damages or cleanup would be taken care of and that someone would be contacting us soon. A short time later, I heard a female voice outside and looked out to see her (Tammy) talking to my husband. The crew removed branches from our roof to assure us of no damage. After Tammy left, my husband came inside and stated that Tammy assured him that the other portion of the hickory would be cut down and all wood removed. Somewhere around 4:00-4:30PM, Aaron and crew left without a word to us or asking for payment
We went outside and found two of my large hydrangeas damaged, a large stack of branches and the better part of the trunk of the hickory, along with pine and hickory limbs stacked right beside our driveway on top of four forsythia bushes. Also, there was approximately 3 ft. of stump left on both trees and the pine had been cut into about 5 to 6 ft
sections (I guess these are the manageable pieces they promised). Manageable for who? What little they did chip up, was all over our driveway and yard. Rick called back asking if things were okay and when I explained from our viewpoint what happened, he naturally defended Aaron in the way everything was handled. When I mentioned that Aaron left without saying anything or collecting the check he stated that the job was not completed
And that Aaron would collect the check up on completion. Naturally, I didn’t hear a word from anyone on Friday and called the office Friday afternoon after receiving an invoice from Tammy. Newly (Operations Mgr.) answered the phone saying that Tammy was gone for the day. He asked if I was Mrs
Osborne and stated that he was just getting ready to call me. He told me to hold on to the check, because he was coming to our home on Tuesday to finish the cleanup and make things right. On Tuesday, Newly never called or showed up. On Wednesday I mailed our check, because my husband and I decided that we were tired of dealing with these liars and would just finish our own cleanup. Naturally, on Wednesday morning, Newly called asking if he could come by to look at what was left that needed to be done. I told him no and there was no mention of actually doing the work as before. When I told him that I had waited on him all day Tuesday and he never showed, he said to me that no one ever told him to be at our home on Tuesday. When I reminded him of our call from the previous Friday, all he said was that he totally disagreed with me and hung up on me. Needless to say, I will never, ever use Monster Tree Service for anything even if they were the only tree service around. If you use them after reading this, you are doing so at your own peril.

My experience with Monster Tree Service was a nightmare. I am physically disabled and do not have much money. Your company Monster I am speaking of Monster Tree Service East Cincinnati
located on Buttermilk Pike in Kentucky
is the worst insulting lying company
I cant pay for their damage I am disabled
My neighbor hired to help remove trees after a tornado in Cincinnati. My experience with Alex Telles I guess he is a owner or supervisor but they destroyed my yard and broke my fence.
The first time they came to my house they removed a huge tree that had fallen from my neighbors yard to the top of my shed. They never finished the job. They left several branches and other trees.
So the man who hired him who is in Alaska on vacation got them to finish the job. My backyard is one big mud pile one of Alex’s employees broke my fence.
He was driving a rental piece of equipment but I could see from my that
he was driving over my fence. I agreed
to let these clown cut the fence and it was folder back and when I look out the window one of Alex’s employees was backing over my fence. I went running outside and told him to stop that he was
destroying the fence he just yelled get out of my way I kept yelling at him ur ruining my fence. He was a nasty angry man and would not stop when I asked him to. My fence is forever broken
I have pics of the mess. Alex snuck back to pick up the rental equipment and just left like a little thief in the night. Alex Telles is one of the biggest liars he said we will be back tomorrow which is today Friday. My backyard is a big mud pile and I have a broken fence. I do not know what I am suppose to do now.
Alex Telles is the biggest lying coward I have ever met. His crew leaves a mess after they break your fence and other damage. Where is your complaint Department. Do all your employees treat the disabled like this. Who is going to pay for this mess left by Alex Telles and his so-called crew. Do all your employees treat the disabled or just even a client this way. It is disgusting.
Thank you Kimberly Harris

Monster Tree in Humble, TX:
Marcel came out and bid my job. A couple of days later I called him to say go ahead. He told me to respond back to the email he and sent with the quote and Eric, who did scheduling, would call. Several days passed with no call from Eric. I emailed Marcel and he emailed me back that HE was having some personal issues and he would have the crew out in the morning. I immediately responded that would not be OK as I had horses to move out of the way. The crew shows up the next day. I tell them the story and they tell me no problem they would take care of me and call in the morning. No call. I email Marcel- he says he will reach Eric and have him call me that day. No call. I tried calling the office and Marcel and it all goes to voicemail. NO CALL. So am thinking these idiots had bidders remorse , bigger jobs to do and were not man enough to admit it. You can bet I will let my Nextdoor.com community know as well as the BBB and anyone else I can call. I WILL CALL unlike the cowards that are Monster Tree Service.
