    To Whom it May Concern:

I am writing this to let you know that I was released from TJX Inc. this year. I was one of those employees that always came in early and/or even stayed later whenever needed and followed company policies. I even quit one of my jobs in order to put in more hours for this company. As being a dedicated employee while I was on break and any customer and/or coworker needed help I would always be glad to lend a helping hand and/or even give suggestion(s). There are even scenarios I would even bring shopping carts from as far as even the train station on my way to work. I feel like it was unjust and I was racially discriminated by doing so. There are other individuals who have done the same and not if worse who are still employed there. Prior to my separation, I have asked for transfer(s) and they were declined. However after my departure from the company, I found out that other employees were told of the fact that I was going to get separated. Why does this matter have to had been discussed with other employees beforehand is what I also do not understand. I have a lot of customers coming to my current employment telling me that I was separated and the reason as well. I thought this matter was supposed to be kept confidential. Please take action in this matter. For more information regarding this matter please do not hesitate to contact me at kingcobra81@ hotmail.com. Thanks.

    To whom this may concern,

I’m an employee of this company, and I just want to explain a very unpleasant situation I just had with a manager. I had called out earlier today because I have been sick since Sunday night and knew I wouldn’t be able to last my shift. I then called again tonight to inform my manager that I was calling out for my shift tomorrow for the same reason. His response was, “so you know your going to be sick tomorrow too?” Something like this has happened before, except he hung up on my face. Multiple of my coworkers have experienced the same situation. I’m usually not the type of person that would report a manager or anyone for that matter, but I’m hurt and annoyed by the way he has reacted to the situation. Please contact me for more information, so this issue can be resolved.

    Thank you.

I wrote to Corporate about a year ago regarding plus size clothing. Since the MAJORITY of women in this country are size 14 and up, why does my local TJMAXX have exactly 1…yes 1 rack of plus sized clothes while there are approximately 30-40 racks of petites, juniors, women’s. I wrote last year because my local store had only 2 racks of plus sized clothes…but sadly they now have condensed those ugly plus size clothes onto one rack. Maybe I live in an area where everyone is slim? Or, maybe all your buyers don’t realize there are plus size customers? Or maybe TJMAXX could care less about us? Either way, since my first letter hasn’t fixed the problem, I won’t be shopping here anymore. My local store is in Londonderry NH. I have pics of the plus size area if you’d like to see them.

I worked for one of your store in 1994/1995.I am now again working for the same location. What a disturbing difference.
Personally I think that politics does not belong in a store. We have employees talking garbage about Ivanka and the President.
Please contact the DMO and make him aware that it is strictly a work environment, not a charlatans get together.
    Thank you,
    Cordially,

You not only should remove all of Ivanka Trump’s merchandise from her section, but get rid of them in your “Run” sections. This is disturbing that our White House is using its position to pad their bottom line!!!! Totally unethical. We will sell our country to the highest bidder, and so many Amerian citizens are being used in the process. Open up your eyes people!

Shameful that you have chosen to malign someone who sets a great example to our children. my admiration for Ivanka Trump stands heads above what I think of your organization.Should have kept your politics out of your business. I will no longer be shopping in any of your stores, and will encourage my friends to do the same.

I have never been more upset as I am with your company dropping Ivanka Trump’s line. Please take note.. I will never step foot into your stores.. TJ Max, Marshals or Home Goods. I find it so interesting that you will listen to a bunch of very liberal people and take their political views out on a family member. I pray to God you all wake up before your stock hits rock bottom.
    Sincerely
    A Republican and Democratic Family

I am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in your decision to remove Ivanka Trump’s line from your stores simply because her name is TRUMP! Your are doing the very thing you left-wingers say you stand for, non discrimination. It is not your business to play politics but to service your customers. I find what you did very mean spirited and I will NEVER shop in your stores again and will do all I can to inform others in hopes that they too will not continue to shop at any of your stores. You should be ashamed of yourselves!! Your far-left agenda is exactly why our country is in the shape it’s in. You don’t know the meaning of the words “fairness” or “honorable”. It is my hope that you will soon see the error of your ways in the only way you understand–in your pocketbook!!!!

Shame on TJX corporation for caving to the “pressure” to not carry Ivanka Trump merchandise. I spend THOUSANDS every year in your stores and now I am so upset with the company, I will definately boycott for a while, if not indefinately. Let’s see if they do the right thing and remedy the situation. Just remember half the country does like Trump, so why would you cater to the half that doesn’t and then risk backlash from those that do? Seems like a stupid business gamble. Had you just said/done nothing I suspect you would have lost or offended NO customers. Do so at your own peril.

Just wanted to share a very unpleasant experience that I encountered today on 01/13/17 at TJ Max Department store located on Skokie Blvd in Northbrook, IL. I was trying to return a brand new, unworn, with all tags attached trousers that I was given as a gift for Christmas. I did not have a receipt for. The cashier by name Marya was very unfriendly to start with. After I approached her and said hello she never greeted me back. When I explained that I need to return this item she silently scanned the item and announced that this item is not in the system and must be bought more then a year ago. I asked if it can be taken back for a store credit. Her response was “no way”. I asked for a manager and when the manager by name Mimi came, Marya presented my case to Mimi in an unfortunate way. Then Mimi had nothing but to confirm that this item cannot be return in any possible way and I have to take it back home. So all together I had a horrible experience with these 2 sales reps and left the store with the feeling that I never ever want to come back to TJ Max for any shopping needs because I don’t want to experience another attitude like this one.
I think one of the priorities for sales reps is to be nice to customers and be trying hard to help them with their needs to satisfy them and make them feel wanting to come back again and again. I’m sure in my case they could of make an exception and take this item back for a store credit like Marshalls store could do it for me in exact same situation just a few days ago. And as much as I know TJ Max and Marshalls have the same policies.
Indeed, the quality of our life is in hands of people we encounter.

I would just like to say THANK YOU for not opening your stores on Thanksgiving. Though I do not have any family that works for your company, I think it’s great that you are letting people be home for the holidays as it should be. I will try to do most of my shopping at your stores rather than the greedy ones who will open for the holiday!!

Hello, Just wanted to compliment your company on choosing to close on Thanksgiving Day!! If more corporations would join in families could be together, young parents wouldn’t have to miss out on the wonderful tradition of Thanksgiving. Your corporation is certainly making a huge statement with this. I enjoy shopping at TJMaxx and thought I should let you know how we feel about your decision!! Someone there has a heart!!

I also agree that the TJMaxx Companies being closed on Thanksgiving is absolutely
wonderful!!! I just saw the commercial for the first time and I think it makes such a
statement, I loved it! Some people say…nurse’s, fireman, paramedics etc. don’t get the day off. Well, my sister is a nurse and she knew when she decided to become a nurse that emergencies are 24/7 as are hospitals, these people are saving lives and caring for the sick, they know this when they choose these very honorable careers that it is not a 9:00-5:00 job. It is not the same as retail!
The people working retail work long, hard hours over the holiday season and deserve
time off to be with family on these special days.
The world today is the mess its in because we do not value family, tradition, togetherness, kindness, giving. It is sadly all about money, greed, and the me, me, me,
      mentality!!
I have always been a TJM shopper and from now on and all through this holiday season
I will only patronize the businesses that are closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas!
Many, many kudos to you TJM companies, you got it right!!!
May all of your families be safe and warm this holiday season!
