Fry’s Food Stores, also known as Fry’s Food and Drugs, was founded in 1954 in California by Donald Fry. The company operates a chain of supermarkets, mostly in the state of Arizona.
Today, Fry’s Food Stores is a subsidiary of Kroger. The company also goes by other names such as Fry’s Marketplace, Fry’s Signature, and Fry’s Mercado. In June of 2000, the company acquired Fred Meyer‘s stores in Arizona and re-branded those stores as Fry’s Food and Drug.
The company offers upscale grocery items in most locations. Fry’s Mercado caters to the Hispanic community. The company currently has 123 locations and employs at least 22,000 people.
In April 2023, Fry’s parent company, Kroger, announced that it would acquire Albertson’s. There is a great deal of opposition to this merger and it is unknown if it will be approved.

First of all, does anyone at the Corporate office read any of these negative comments?
The Fry’s App is the worst App ever! It comes down to false advertising because NO ONE can download the digital ads of items on sale because the digital offers DO NOT SHOW UP under “Digital Coupons”. I stood in line to speak to someone in Customer Service (because the cashiers do not know anything about the app, except to say they hear negative comments about it). The Customer Service woman told me to click on “Digital Coupons” and right underneath it will be all the digital offers to click on. I thanked her and went to the produce department to take advantage of the digital offer on peaches and cantalope. However, these items WERE NOT on the digital offers. I stood in line AGAINk at the Customer Service desk to tell show her that the digital offers were not showing up. She did not know why or offer any kind of help. She said I would have to bring those items up to Customer Service to check out since she was aware of the issue. This is absolutely ridiculous! Everyone complains about the Fry’s App and nothing is done about it. This falls under false advertising by Fry’s. You have lost another customer to Safeway!!

I am visiting your Cottonwood store. July 3, 2022 about 6:30. A young girl (Grace) check me out but look like she waiting for me to bag the groceries. I just wait for her. So she bags it it leave the chips saying she could not reach them. I pass the chips to her. We have to then places our groceries into the cart. She had a line and was starting to ring up the next customers while we were placing our groceries into our cart.
In the meantime there was two employees just talking and laughing. Then they look at us and continue on. The girl cashier didn’t open her line and the young male was having a good time like he was at a park or something. I share this information with Sabrina. She say she was aware of the problem. I then call Corporate but as it was close to ending the call drop. Then the store was close when I went to call back.
I do not work for Frys and should not be bagging my own groceries especially when you had employees talking and laughing. Not sure why they are there if they are not helping. The young man was at the end of a register with no people while we got to help the first cashier, Grace. 928 634 , 1100 Highway 89-260.

I shop at the Tatum and E. Shea Blvd. store in Phoenix. Today, I had a rain check for Ball Park Hot Dogs, at .99 per pkg. I always purchase a large quantity on my rain checks when they do indicate a limit. I put 10 packages of hot dogs in cart along with other items to purchase. The rain check was due to expire on 2/11. Today is 2/10/22. I put items on conveyer and when the cashier, a blonde, saw them she yelled very loudly to a young manager, RAINCHECK. The young manager came over and said there is a limit of 5 on the rain check. There is no limit written or printed on the rain check. He said it is store policy to limit to 5. There is no posting anywhere that states that. No signs, nothing. I told them they can keep the hot dogs, and told the cashier to ring up the other items. When finished, she gave me my receipt, but didn’t even say Thank You, just handed me the receipt and turned away. I have never been so embarrassed, and I have been going to Frys for many years. Why do they keep this so called policy hidden? It should be posted so that there is no misunderstanding. Safeway employees always greet me with a smile, and are very helpful, and also their sales are far superior to Frys. Frys has lost about $500 worth of sales monthly. I shop for the elderly and will not return to any Frys again. If you like to embarrass customers, treat them poorly, then you don’t need our money. Off to Safeway.

The front end manager, Risa, at the Frys on Ellsworth and Broadway is rude and extremely unprofessional.
She was unhelpful to myself and other customers, as well as the other staff members.
My experience at this Frys was tainted greatly by her behavior specifically.

I go to use the digital coupon to get 3x gas points, stand in a long line, just to find the clerk or supervisor cannot do the coupon……I will have to go to customer service…..long line…..stupid people…where’s the so called service. Shopped the Fry’s at 59th Ave and the 101 today. At self checkout, the checkout assistant was wearing her mask under her chin. My wife explained to her that she was not wearing her mask properly and she could be spreading the virus. Fry’s employee said she had been wearing it all day and was tired of wearing it. Found a store manager to explain our experience. Store manager was also not wearing a mask. Told her that her employee was not wearing a mask and that she too should be wearing one. The manager explained that she had a “note from her doctor” to not wear one because she was claustrophobic. Your policies during this pandemic would say you do not care about your customers that do care about staying healthy. We observed other Fry’s employees not wearing their masks over their nose and mouth. That is very concerning. We will not shop Fry’s first any more unless we see changes.

I went to Fry’s in casa grande and upon checking out I was charged fifty cents (.50) for using my debi card. There was no manager available to question why this was being done. DEBIT is like cash. To make a small story short, I will NOT SHOP at kFry’s anymore. This is the times we are suspose to be helping people during a CRISIS situation, but it appears to me that Fry’s (Kroger) is only concerned about how they can smake more money when they don’t haqve products on the shelves for customers to purchase. I remember a few years back seeing something that was put out by the Federal Gov’t. that charging for using DEBIT/CREDIT cards was unlawful. Still trying to run down that information. Regardless, charging for using cards is TOTALLY UNCALLED FOR. GOODBYE FOREVER TO FRY’S (FROGER’s)

Reyes is a crappy representation of Frys. The store is owned by Kroger where I shop in the town that I live. I’m here to take care of a sick relative. I will never step foot into your store again after today. Send Reyes home when he’s acting like an idiot to other store employees and to customers. If he can’t be kind he should maybe be replaced. Such a crummy experience and only cost 118.00 for him to treat me like a dog…….

She said my insurance would not process and refused to do her job by calling the help line to get the current bin # which requires a npi number only she can key in no only but a pharmacy can do this i told her it was her job to correct tge billing aside from the fact i could pay cash. I told i would fike on her license with the state of az for deying me my meds which two are asthma drugs Which are crucial She refised and made a anti semitic comment as she walked off Her demeanor was not professional and discriminatory and she violated her oath of licensing i complained to the manager who was embarrassed and spoke to her Pointing out her wrong and she still refused. The employee should not work with medication s prescribed for someones health and wellbeing if she is not going to do her job correct her opinion and beliefs while on tge clock for kroger are not relevant and she put tge compsny in a position of liability. At tge very end and not at anytime prior when she was inappropriate both verbally and in behavior i called a b—-ch which she ten calked management but she was antagonistic and inappropriate all along. I went to safeway where the pharmacist had no problem transferring the scripts and doing her job to fill them Without comments about jews Or any of the other issues i had at frys and the safeway pharmacist gladly called to get the current bin # to process insurance

I was shopping at the Frys Food store in Apache Junction. The time I’ve been shopping at Frys I’ve never had a bad experience until tonight. Got to the check out and handed the cashier $30 cash $20 she blurs it out “oh this is a counterfeit bill I have to call a manager”. I explain that I got the bill from the ATM at Wells Fargo. I understand policy but she was so loud other customers were looking and it totally embarrassed me so the manager come to the register and tells her it’s good it’s counterfeit I said to the manager I tried to explain that he in turn tells me I don’t have to be so disrespectful to his cashier. I said to him I wasn’t but he kept on going on. I told enough drop it. I felt like I had done something wrong. I will call the corporate office and complain. You don’t great customers like that especially embarrassed them and everyone is watching.

I am having a similar problem. My PCP called in a refill of my pain medication on March 9th. I am out and suffer from chronic pain from 2 failed spinal fusions and severe neuropathy. I have been on the medications for a considerable amount of time. At first the app states the refill is in process, then later in the day it list the medication as delayed due to out of stock. No problem since I was told it would be filled on the 10th. It would just be a painful day. I called on the 10th and was told it would be the 14th know. I referred this to the AZ state board of pharmacy. So the 14th comes and I am told this will be refilled on the 17th as the medication is still out of stock. At no time has Fry’s contacted me, my PCP or even attempted to have another Fry’s pharmacy fill this. Someone with chronic pain, abruptly stopping a med they have been on for years is dangerous. It is now 8 days of unrelenting pain and I have no faith they will fill it tomorrow since I have heard the “checks in the mail” garbage now 4 times.

To Corporate, you need to stop cutting hours from 38 to 15 or 20. You cut back people’s income by nearly $1000 a month and expect your employees that have worked for you for 2 or 3 years, or more to suddenly go homeless. There are ethical law issues taking place. Also treating certain employees that have disabilities like they are nothing to walk on. The minimum wage went up in Arizona, and now you take $1000 a month a way from your cemployees. It’s no wonder customers are not wanting to shop at your stores when there is lack of employees due to them quitting because they cant afford to eat, or even have gas money to get to work. There are oodles of unethical law breaking practices going on even besides treating employees badly with removing massive hours. Is Fry’s going under? Why can’t they pay the few employees that they hire? Even if you have a lull after holidays, so what, what is a month or 2 before it gets busier again, at least your employees will be loyal, word in town will be then that your an honorable company who stands by ethics, and that you have a genuine care for those you employ. Why do they put ads to hire, give an employee 38 to 40 hours, then go back and forth from 38, to 28, to 38, to 15, to 20, back to 15 hours, on and off during 3 years, each time saying your guaranteed such and such hours. Using employees like they are nothings in society, making weird rules and saying untruths to cover up, and play on, not only they employee’s work schedule but treating them like they mean nothing, and acting like they have no mind or heart, after a minimum wage increase comes, families happy so that they could possibly finally be able to buy food and able to handle car payment, to dump their hours like hot potatoes. It’s so very wrong. Making things up to rearrange the stores procedures and supposed policies, every other day. The reputation of your stores are in danger of more loss then just a few good employees, you may have a loss with lawyers getting involved. There are labor laws, rights for employees, also rights for those with disabilities, also those that believed their supervisors when untruths were told to them, just to keep an employee on because someone quit, to only have that loyal employee to lose those promises made to them so they can use them to fill in because that other employee quit. The hours to be cut down by $1000 less a month is a deep hardship. Loss of cars, apartments, food, and peace. Employees work their tails off, they should be respected and treated correctly according to laws and rights. Also it’s a humanitarian, human rights issue too, there is a lot there. There are some many horrible things going on at many of your stores, you really need to regroup your thinking. Have compassion. Yes, It’s just business, but your employees ARE apart of the very core of your business. Minimum wage increase shouldn’t be breaking Fry’s or Kroegers, if it is, then doing this to the employees is the last choice to use to recover loss, because it reflects back to the customer, word gets around. Towns-people know. If you lose your employees, you might as well file bankrupt now. The rules every week come out to change the old procedures and hours given, for the prior week, nobody can count on anything, especially their hours and if they will be able to make their rent or mortgage. Yiu might say, if you don’t like it then quit. BUT, that is a very low minded, and un-thought out reaction. Woukd you want that said to you? There are so many changes each week to over-ride the week before, from two weeks back, scrambling to find answers by cutting everyone’s hours of those who have stayed there through all this mess, this isn’t the right or moral way to handle it.

Ok i am one to not complain, but this time i have to! The girl bagging groceries was not very experienced at it and i understand they have to train and it takes time. I get home and find that my loaf of bread was completely smashed with a bag of flour sitting on top of it. So i went back to customer service to get a new loaf of bread and the young blond lady was kind of rude. All she said was well go get another one in a very snobby voice. So i did just like she said although i think someone else should of been sent to get a new loaf of bread. So now i go get new loaf of bread and come back to customer service and well now there are several people people in front of me. During the waiting to get though the line she keeps making eye contact with me. So i get make it through the line and all she says is GO AHEAD AND LEAVE in a very snobby voice. PISSED ME OFF!!! Why ?? Debit cards are the same as cash.Is it only done on cash back transactions ?

I never complain on people ever but I think this issue has to be addressed with the level of horrible service I Received at the store located on 83rd Ave. and Indian school buy two employees named Dan and Lorena I went in that location specially because they had the DANZEISEN dairy local farm milk that I buy all the time and it’s Usually 3.99 for a quart And plus a two dollar CRV tax that is refundable when you bring back the glass bottles they come in so I was checking out in the self check out and mind you it’s 9:40 PM at night so there’s nobody in the store hardly shopping So I get to the register I buy four separate quarts And the price came up wrong or not as smart they were on sale for $1.99 plus I had a D backs points reward sticker on the milk I ask Lorena about the price difference and tell her there’s a mark down on them and she said oh I don’t know so I ask her if she would kindly check on it for me and she said well I can get you a manager I say yes please because that’s $8 difference that I’m paying so she asks dan the other associate that’s standing right next to here do you know about these milks as she rolls her eyes and he said no and they chuckle like it’s funny because I’m kind of angry because I ask one of them if they would kindly walk back with me to check And she says no! At this point I’m getting a little upset with there eye rolling and giggles because I asked them to check on it for me because the fact is I actually work hard for my money and feel like I was treated like I was some ghetto person or something i will never ever go in that store again it was a pretty trashy neighborhood I shop at frys by my house in Goodyear I was just in the area and decided to stop there but believe me I will never ever go to that ghetto frys again I have never been treated so rude if I did that to a customer at my work they would have my job!! You really should put your lazy associates on a register So they aren’t able to just stand around and make fun of customers that ask for assistance horrible I will be calling the store manager in the morning as well that’s how bad they made me feel with there rude behavior thanks for your time I do hope they are not like this to all your customers that have a question god bless and thanks for listening

When I was home i started to prepare them and found one of them turning black and the other not far behind. This is not the first time I have purchased seafood from you’ll and found spoiled fish/etc. I called the store and they told me to freeze the bad product and then bring them in and they would check and refund the money. I am amazed that a seasoned meat manager does not know when products are going bad.
I will make a trip to the store tomorrow to receive my $26.00 back–however this should not be necessary if you had a staff that really cared about quality.
perhaps will shop at Albertsons–a little farther for me to drive but there seafood has always been great.

I visited the Dove Valley location yesterday and had a coupon for free fried chicken I was given this coupon last week because the deli was out of fried chicken again during normal dinner hours. I purchased some other groceries and gave Carol the coupon for fried chicken. She immediately had an attitude and said we are not doing this anymore. It appeared her shift was over or she was going on a break because another employee took over the self checkout. I bought an onion but it rang up with a much higher price and description. The new lady was trying to help but was having trouble correcting the price. Carol asked if she could help and when the other associate told her I was incorrectly charged for the onion she said ” he just go free fried chicken so don’t worry about it”. When I asked Carol what she said, she starting walking very fast and ignored me.
I am sure that is not the type of service you expect your employees to give to your customers.
I would appreciate a response back. Mike

July 3, 2019 went into Fry’s on 91 ave and Union Hills to pick up a few items. There were not enough carts available inside the building and customers were standing waiting and may have left to shop elsewhere. I had been to another store and they didn’t have the problems you had yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It would have been nice to have someone come up and apologize for the inconvenience.
The back isles in front of the cold section was too narrow for two carts to pass each other without someone getting hurt as an over sized display was taking up too much of the isle on both sides. The display was not thought out in placement or in measurement. The entire section for the on sale UNSALTED BUTTER was empty and would come in with the next delivery!!!!!!!!!! I got a rain check to make sure I received my 10% senior discount when I do come in. It’s not right a senior looses their discount because the SALE product and or other items didn’t come in or weren’t available on the ADVERTISED SALE DATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!That’s FALSE ADVERTISING and needs to be addressed.

Today 7-3-2019 Senior Day……….Observation by Former Courtesy Clerk
Feb 2008-Jan 2018
Today ONLY 1 attendant on self checkout for 6 machines where store has total of 18 machines………….ONLY 1 regular checkout line open ALL this before
8 am……….ONE of busiest shopping days during July 2019……prices have been increased to off-set HIGHER minimum wage employees cost, but
hours NOT increased for Senior Day…………poor CORPORATE management.
SAD to see quality of customer service going from GOOD to POOR.
You are going to be driving loyal customers to shop else where and so goes their dollars from your bottom line. When will Corporate wake up and smell
the coffee so to speak.
Smart allocation of Labor hours would benefit Corporate bottom line…
Wake up Corporate CEO in Arizona……………I was once an Accountant by occupation so understand installation of self check out machines cuts labor costs and NO benefits (medical, retirement, vacation) and NO opinions

I am talking about the Fry’s store on 67th avenue and Indian School in Phoenix Arizona and I cannot tell you how rude is your toys r up to self check-out line. there is a gigantic looking woman who looks like Shrek’s wife and is as mean as if she was as well and it’s not my fault that she has to wake up everyday and look at herself in the mirror and come to her job that she visibly hates it’s obvious that all these employees that work at the self-checkout line hate their job and that’s not my fault you don’t need to be rude to the customers because of that. I simply asked her to watch my merchandise while I went to the customer service desk and she rolled her eyes at me and give me a dirty look and didn’t even respond to me and I have to tell her okay will you watch my stuff and look at her and speak slowly to get her to respond to which she did give me a nasty grimace and again rolled her eyes and then I left my things at the checkout with her and went over to customer service well she was born in front of me with two other employeesand I said to my husband I think that these women think that I’m stealing I cannot imagine what else they’re so interested in me for so he handed me more than enough cash so that I could go over there and show them the look ladies I am not stealing but still didn’t satisfy them because after I begged my items myself and was paying for my items she came and picked through my items in my bag! I mean what is that about? I have been shopping at Fry’s on La Canada in Oro Valley for several years. It is convenient. However, my shopping experience is getting worse and worse. When I have a small amount of items, I always use the self checkout that was initiated a couple of years ago. However, when I am spending more than $60.00, the manual checkout with a cashier is more appropriate because you have not designed the bagging area properly for self checkout. Today was not a good experience. I had a full shopping cart, went to the checkout gal and found the line to be very long because there was ONLY 1 CHECKER. I asked personnel about the situation and they stated we do not have two checkers until 1:00 pm normally.
The whole grocery experience at FRY”S is getting worse. In addition, product reduction of organic brands besides “Simple Truth” or “Kroger” are leaving rapidly. When do your customers get to be in choice for quality of service and products?

I am 74 years old. I have been shopping at the Fry’s Supermarket on 4440 E Main Street in Mesa, AZ. I went shopping on March 6, 2019 at 8:30 am. It was “Senior Discount Day”, the 1st Wednesday of the Month. The Customers were all most all, Senior Citizens. The first thing that came to my attention was all the pallets of boxes of goods that needed to be put on shelves. They were parked all over the Main Back Aisle. Then I noticed two Employees who were “re-pricing” the items on the shelves. They each had over a hundred stickers.
If this was not disruptive enough, the aisles had two to three “stand along displays” that clogged the aisles and made it impossible for two carts to go past one another. There was a big group of Customers at the Deli Department trying to buy lunch meats and only two Employees helping them. Two of the big “4 Day Special Reduced Price” seafood sale items, Salmon Filets and Large Shrimp, are “digital coupon” reduced price only. The problem being that we didn’t receive the new “weekly ad” until that very Wednesday in the mail. I was not able to buy the salmon and the shrimp because I, like most Senior Citizens on Social Security can’t afford to carry around, much less own, I-pods or smart phones. We have land line phones. So we were not able to afford the regular cost of those two items.
The worst of that disappointing shopping day at the Fry’s on Greenfield and Main Street was when I went to check out. Only the “Self-Checkout” area on the East side of the store was open and there was a bunch of shoppers in line. Then I rolled my shopping cart down the line of “Cashier Checkout” lanes and there were only two (2) open and both had lines of five or more shoppers. The young, dark-haired, Asst Manager, who wears black-framed glasses, opened a lane but only took three shoppers then blocked the lane so that others could not check out. I waited 20 minutes to check out. There was ten (10) Customers in back of me when I finally was able to checkout. All of them were “Senior Citizens”, some using walkers or mobility carts because the had disabilities.
Shame on the Asst Manager for not calling for additional Cashiers and Baggers while elderly, Senior Citizens Discount Day, Customers were made to wait to pay Fry’s Food for their purchases. Last month when the Canadian and Mid-West “Snow Birds” were shopping on “Senior Citizen Discount Day” buying a couple hundred dollars of high-priced hard liquor and prime rib roasts, there were 4 – 5 Cashier Checkout Lanes and both of the Self-Checkout Areas were open at 8:00am. I know this to be a fact because I was there.
Reading all the complaints about other Fry’s Supermarkets across the Valley shows a Senior Management from the CEO Stephen McKinney on down that has little if any concern for Fry’s Customers, especially, Senior Citizen Shoppers. Shame on these Big Shots who obviously only care about revenue, not about human beings.

I’m so frustrated with the Fry’s at Shea/Tatum in AZ. They have a beautiful store and AN IDIOT for a BUYER!!! (not local clearly). They get rid of everything I love to buy there. Recently in the past year or so, they got rid of my favorite avocado oil chips that always sold out! They got rid of my favorite (and the best!) gluten free pasta (which I have to get at Whole Foods now across the street), and now they are discontinuing Cascadian Farm organic concord grape fruit spread, which is the BEST! They are STUPID!!! SO FRUSTRATED WITH THESE OUT OF STATE IDIOT BUYERS!!!!!!!!!!

Ironically, I did not read your message until after I left mine.
I concur on everything that you said and have to note that the deli, which used to be the pride of the store and talk of many shoppers is now….nothing.
Every other store in Phoenix has a deli that is as good as their is.
Today was probably my last day shopping at this store.
I let my opinion be clearly known to the manager before I left.
I also have to note the humor in how nearly every time they have a sale on Diet Dr Pepper there are rarely enough bottles out to be able to take advantage of the sale and many of the “free” items that they offer are not carried by the store. I assume this because we cannot even find where they USED to be on the shelves.

I am a faithful supporter of the companies in my neighborhood, I have lived in Ahwatukee off and on for over 20 years, and shopped at the 3616 E Ray Road Phoenix location primarily. I have been suspect of over monitoring during my self check out process, and Saturday 1/19/2019 I asked to speak with the manager outside of the store. The manager on duty was Ellie, I expressed my observation and experience with three of her employees, who stand over and directly behind me during my self check out process. I would choose to wait in the assisted cashier line however I don’t have 10-15 minutes to wait to be checked out. Her response to my raw emotions of being profiled in her store were, “if you become aggressive I will have you trespassed from the property”. She then went on to say “you are be aggressive moving your hands right now” one motion was wiping tears from my eyes just discussing it, the needless behavior of ignorant small minded individuals interrupting your day and at this point I realized this Fry’s store was being lead and supported by the present management standing in front of me and it was also clear I was wasting my time as a customer who wanted to continue with the great relationships forged over the 20 years at this Fry’s. I will be attempting to reach out to Wayne Bailey if he is still with Fry’s. Or the current District Manager.

I have been shopping at the Frys at 43rd Ave & Cactus since it opened. I don’t enjoy shopping but never minded until about a year ago. The shelves are half empty, they don’t have enough cashiers and the new people don’t seem to even care. This is the 1st Wednesday of the month and at 8:15 there were no checkers except the manager. when I went to customer service, I was told there were no other checkers but in about two minutes another cashier opened up. People do not like to be lied to. I have talked to managers and just get the run around. After I checked out I went to customer service for a rain check and told her I couldn’t believe there were no more checkers and she ignored me. I said I guess no body cares and she said sorry in a very uncaring way. I would like to talk to someone over that store to find out what has happened to the store I once enjoyed and not it just aggregates me. Any acknowledgement would be greatly appreciated. A loyal customer Dorothy DeWitt 602-843-XXXX.

I was treated horribly at your location at 19th Avenue & Union Hills. I went in to return 34 Danzeisen glass milk bottles. The girl behind the desk told me that was too many to return and that I would have to have a receipt for each one. I explained that I do not keep grocery receipts. She said there is a lot of theft with these bottles and without s receipt I would not be able to turn them in. So, she is saying I am a thief. I asked to speak to a manager , the clerk walked over to a hallway and spoke to someone, she came back and said, no I could not return the bottles. I asked if I could speak to the manager and she said no, that was store policy. I left totally humiliated. I then drove to my nearby Bashas, walked in with my 34 milk bottles and was greeted happily and received my return money with a smile on the clerks face. I told her what happened at Frys and she was mortified for me. I probably spend 400 to 500 dollars a month at this Frys, but never again will they get my hard earned money. Bashas has gained a customer.

My Fyr’s is located at E Bell rd and Tatum Blvd Phoenix Az, I have tried to email Fry’s twice with no response. Here is the issue. I have been a Fry’s customer for 20 yrs, every week I go there for my weekly shopping and every week one of the things I buy is a pound to a pound and a half of pre made tuna salad at your deli department.
The people there are great by the way, but about two months ago they stopped selling the tuna salad. Just two weeks ago I was told they would no longer sell it but that they didn’t know why. its not a hugh deal however I did buy if for my lunch 5 times a week.
I have emailed Frys thru their web site but I don’t get any reply. Is there anyway you can tell me why a major chain like Fry’s no longer sells the pre made tuna salad at the deli department. And if possible can I find out where they got it from so I can see if I can buy it direct.
FYI, best tuna salad I have ever had. I have already tried Safeway and Bashes and they were horrible.

Cave creek and Hatcher location….this store us almost always hot, expecially at the registers. Told the Manager setting in front of a fan in his office and he told me its because its humid and the door is opened 35,000 times a day. I dont know about other Frys but this lication seems to be removing items and replacing with similar product at a much higher price. Cat food and colorsafe bleach should not cost $41.00. Im tired of the bad management at this store and wish Corporate would help with customer service and price gouching. Get some lessions from the store on 19th and Glendale.

I just had all my prescriptions transferred from Frys to the Walmart across the street. The Fry’s drugstore employees under the new direction of a new younger pharmacist (7-18-18; 1:30p.m.) were rude and perpetually lied to me about the readiness for a scrip of low dosage antibiotics. I was in the store yesterday and told that they had not finished filling the scrip. I called in advance today and was told that it still was not ready because the pharmacist (P) wanted to check with the prescribing NP regarding interaction with another drug. Despite my informing the P that I had discussed the issue with the NP and the NP knew about it and did not have a problem, the P did not want to fill the scrip. I also informed the P that I had not taken the supposed “interacting med” for seven days. The P said she did not care. While at the drugstore, I was told on 7-17-18 that the scrip would be ready to pick up in the a.m. on 7-18-18. I went and the told me that they still had not completed the filling of this minor order. I have transferred all scrips to another drugstore nearby. Frys loses money bec some pharmacists are sadists.

I LOVE FRY’S!!!!!! Until December when we moved, we patronized the store on Riggs and McQueen and always found everything to be more than satisfactory. However since we moved and now patronize the store on Alma School and German, I have been disappointed with every visit. I have never gotten home and checked my receipt and not found at least one error. Sometimes it is double scanning, in bulk nuts it has been wrong pricing; today it was another error equaling $11. I really don’t think I should have to continue making a special trip to the store, stand in line and correct your mistakes. This is an older store than the Riggs one, but in many ways the staff does not seem very well trained. They don’t know where things are in the store when asked, they can’t answer questions regarding your sale ad, they are not as friendly and the store is not as tidy or well organized. Please help. I don’t want to drive right past one Fry’s Store to go to another numbers of miles further. I am not going to go to another brand store but many who experience this may.

I live in Lakeside, Az and have been waiting for 10 years for Frys to open a store up here. So many would love to see you up here. The closest is in Globe and you could get quite a large following if you opened up here. We only have Safeway and Walmart and they are always crowded. PLEASE consider opening a store near here. Communities this would impact: Show low, Snowflake, Taylor, St John’s, Concho, Eager, Springerville, Pinetop, Vernon plus many more.

Why oh why am I always disappointed that the Riggs rd. Store never has the artisan seeded rye bread. It comes in frozenand it is baked in the store. They can slice it or you can slice it at home. The newest store in Ocotillo and Gilbert usually has it. Do I have to drive 6 miles to buy a loaf of bread that is by far better than packaged bread?

“You’re doing it wrong,” Steve the cashier, scolded my mother. My Mom attempted to try again, the machine beeped. Steve, grabs the card out of her hand, bends the credit card, shoves it in the machine twice. Steve then tells her, “You’ve got a bad card, you better report it.” My mother attempted to explain to Steve she had just used the card less than a half hour earlier in a different aisle, same Frys store. Steve kept repeating and talking over her voice, “it’s bad, doesn’t work, report it and get a new card.” She paid with cash.
Steve then started to ring up my order, with his continued foul attitude, dropped a nectarine on the floor and bagged it (watch the video Frys) I proceeded to pay with my card. Guess what, same problem!!! Told Steve to call cashier manager for a bad card key pad. While waiting for her to come over, told Steve he was rude and disrespectful to me and my mother. “No I wasn’t,” he repeated. When the cashier manager came over, I was already in the process of paying with cash. Told her what had just transpired with Steve, he said no less than five times, “that’s a lie” “that’s a lie.” My mother and I spent about $150. I don’t care if I spent $1.50. Great or even simple DECENT customer service was absent in our experience this morning. Steve was unapologetic, rude and accused me of being a “liar”!!!
Delivering my 82 year old mom into the car, I went back and requested the store manager to report Steve’s unwarranted, rude comments and unsatisfactory job performance. She assured me it would be taken care of and apologized for his poor representation. I have to believe her at her word.
I have been a Registered Nurse, close to thirty years, I have never witnessed such a disturbing lack of respect to an elderly person my entire career. (not everything said, written) In my opinion, this person should not be allowed to serve the public and tarnish Frys’, otherwise, stellar reputation. Shame on you Steve. Frys, don’t allow this type of behavior to continue, and happen to others. Thank you. Visiting parents in Yuma Az. I am from Tucson. Frys store 11203 E. South Frontage Rd, Yuma Az.

I loved ice-cream. WOW!! Stopped in my tracks going down the ice-cream isle. There it was, Organics, Organic Ice-Cream and in many flavors. I read the ingredients and on that small container, all the ingredients were cited on one line and a few characters next line!!
Having cancer I absolutely limit sugar intake. At one time, none at all. Now I treat myself now and then. I also consume organic foods. What a combination, organic and ice-cream.
Thank you Fry’s!!! I am a loyal customer since 1978 and will brag and promote to others what they may be missing!!

I went shopping @ Frys on Pecos and Higley Tuesday July 18th receipt shows 7:21 pm checkout 4, cashier Jennifer. I gave Jennifer a 100 dollar bill and she handed me four 20 dollar bills, three of which were counterfeit. The next day at a local gas station we have been going to for years spotted the counterfeit money. Both my boyfriend and myself contacted the manager (Elaine) whom stayed there’s nothing she can do about it and completely brushed us off. We will never again shop at Frys if we do not get our 60 dollars back in real money. This location needs to be investigated but FBI will not investigate such small sums of counterfeit currency. We will email corporate in a final attempt to get what is rightfully owed to us.
WILL UPDATE, WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE DO NOT SUPPORT THESE THIEVES!

6-9-17 @ 7:52pm Bianca on Main street Alma School,
This is the date ,time, cashier , location where I went shopping I was treated so rude by Bianca, her manager Madison and Ryan were within close range of where I was checking out. Bianca was RUDE throwing groceries trying to go really fast so fast that she threw and broke a bottle of soy sauce. I told her I am impressed at her ability to bag and scan in such a fast pace but please do not handle my groceries in that manner. She ignored my request and smashed my bread, tomatoes, pizza oh yeah and did not replace the soy sauce so I had to return back to the store and get what I paid for. I’ve never been treated so RUDELY at a FRYS food store any where. I guess there is a first for everything and the managers didn’t seem to mind her behavior maybe because they didn’t care? If this is how Fry’s allows there employees to treat the customers then I don’t have a problem with going to another super market!! By the way these are all new employees to this location maybe they are unhappy here it is a high rate of customers constantly busy.. UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER FORSURE TODAY!!!!

Hello, I wanted to share the most amazing, heartfelt experience I had with Frys Flagstaff AZ, and a produce department associate named Jerry.
I am human resource resource manager for a global company in the business of customer service and I work in Phoenix.
This past week one of associates passed away as a result of a personal tragic accident. Yesterday, Friday afternoon, we were advised that the funeral was being held in Tuba City, AZ on Saturday morning at 9am. We called numerous floral shops in the area to order an arrangement for the funeral service. NO ONE could help.. they were either closing or couldn’t get the arrangement to the service by 9am.
So we called Frys Flagstaff. Jerry in Produce answered the phone for floral and informed that unfortunately the floral clerk was no longer in. I explained our predicament. Jerry advised he would be happy to help us, was somewhat creative and would put together a beautiful arrangement for us.
We arrived to Frys Flagstaff from Phoenix at 11pm on Friday night to find the most beautiful arrangement waiting for us in the floral cooler.
This for me, is an example of far, far above and beyond and such a loving and kind gesture from one human being to another. Jerry is a wonderful example of human kindness and a stellar employee.
Please recognize him and celebrate him.
Eternally grateful and a forever customer of Frys.
Lisa
