I purchased a membership with Zips in December 2021. I had an old Camaro that I had washed a couple of times a month. I sold the car in October 2022. I went by the car wash in Flowery Branch, GA in December 2022 to cancel my membership since I no longer owned the car and the pass was still on the windshield. The person I spoke with was helpful and helped me cancel the membership.it was than it was discovered that was another account in another person’s name that was united to my debit card. I want back through my charges and I had been charged twice a month for a year. One time for the membership in my name and one time for a membership in someone else’s name. When I pursued recovering the money erroneously taken from my account they only refunded 25% of what they stole from me. I have only been able to i through email. no one will speak with me concerning the issue. They admitted it is their mistake and continue to refuse to return the stolen funds. I have posted reviews everywhere I can and continue to attempt to obtain contact information for the person who has the ability and integrity to correct this issue.

Yesterday I complained about their equipment not working. I learned TurboJethad been purchased by Zips. I then checked with another TurboJethad location which confirmed Zips had purchased all TurboJet had locations and they where experiencing the same problems. Has a result and reading how many others had reported similar problems I am terminating my monthly wash package at the end of my term and will choose a carwash that cares for the customer by maintains better customer care!

A co-worker and I went to zips on my lunch break and as we are going through the wash I heard and felt a sudden shake and then it sounded like something was going on under my vehicle. Whenever I exited the wash I immediately got out and checked to see what had happened. I instantly noticed I had a flat tire. Not just a flat tire but a cut from the gouged rim all the way to the tread. A perfect cut. I notified management and they said.. “Yeah that happened to a truck yesterday too… the exact same thing.” They went to go see if they could figure out what caused it and within 5 minutes the car wash was running cars through again.
I was told to come into the office and fill out an incident report. When I went into the office the employee attempted to find a blank incident report but could not find one. I couldn’t believe this but he told me to get one out of the stack of filled out incident reports……scratch out the other persons information and put mine. They would supposedly be calling me within 72 hours. YEAH RIGHT! All I have to say is I won’t be letting this go. It would be cheaper for Zips to replace my tire than to lose all the business I’m about to turn away from them. I will literally stand outside the entrance with several other people peacefully telling everyone in Saginaw what had happened and how its been handled and then give them coupons to the other awesome car wash in town. If you don’t believe me…try me.

We’ve had two car on a membership for close to or over 2yr are now. We just took our well kept 2005 Escalade through the Zips Car Wash on Parkway in Sevierville, YN. Towards the end of the wash we heard a big clang and my husband went to look after we got out but the attendant made him wait outside and they both saw the long upper back light from our Escalade lying on the floor of the car wash. He filled out an incident report and we were told they were going to put it their their insurance and someone would be calling us today which is four days after the incident happened on Sunday. So we just stopped by the car wash to have our suburban washed and my husband talked to Josh, the attendant that was there and he told us we were on the list to be called today and they were not going to cover it because our car was more than 10 years old! That’s BS! My husband asked for the corporate office his phone number and he said they don’t have a phone number and if they do he doesn’t know what it is because he hast to contact them through email and he said we would be getting an email sometime today! I want to talk to a person and I do not want to talk through email text messages or anything else. This is ridiculous and we took pictures and you can see where the four places that that light is screwed into the Escalade were broken because the wind hit it so hard. They must’ve had the blower turned up too high. I have been through the car wash probably over 150 times with this car and nothing like this has ever happened before! If any one can provide a phone number for me I would appreciate it. I think we all need to get after the CEO of this company because they are not making good on the damaged our car washes have caused. I’m seeing people and several different states who are having issues with zips car wash. I will not be silent and I will tell everyone about this and I work in a large enough company where I see people from all over the United States on a daily basis and I will continue to tell them about it along with my friends.

Zips ran a 2 month TCU/Baylor college football promotion in Burleson, TX for $20.00 and you signed up to enter a sweepstakes for tickets. After the promotion, Zips illegally withdrew money from my bank account without my permission and then declined to refund me stating that it’s against their policy. I went through the car wash expecting the $20.00 wash to clean my car. I usually get the $10.00 wash but thought I’d splurge. Upon exiting I got out and inspected my car. The entire left side was untouched. The mgr told me the left side brushes don’t work, not to mention the car wash never cleans the back of my SUV. All they have to do is press the button for a longer vehicle. So I went to the wash station to finish their job. Big mistake. The brush caused numerous surface scratches on my tail gate. The asst mgr told me to come back when her boss was there and asked what I expected to be done. I told her certainly not another car wash. The first one didn’t work why on earth would I want to go through again.
This place is a sad excuse for a car wash.

Today I called police in your location in Norman, Oklahoma. Unfortunately, I intend to file charges for an assault against your manager, for the way i was treated today. Your manager was unprofessional, angry and used profane language and aggression towards me this morning. That was his reaction to my slightly raised voice and complaint about ongoing double charges for my monthly membership since last year. Since your manager failed to resolve this issue but instead attacked me, I also intend to file charges against your company for fraudulent activity, misinformation and perjury. Lying to customers in America is a crime. Your manager has informed me I wasn’t the only victim of suspicious charges. This means other victims could possibly join me.
I have lived in Norman for a long time, way before ZipsCarwash came to town. I own several businesses and very well connected in the community, the city and local businesses. I am very well aware what the duties of a manager should be and what systems should be in place in a business for training their staff. If a staff member or a manager begins to use profanities, act with aggression, hurt and endanger the citizens of the community the business caters to, this means the company lacks culture and fails to screen and provide proper training to their employees.
Next week I will be assembling a group of people to go peacefully protest your business holding signs and banners, next to ZIPS location in Norman. I will be contacting local news stations and also posting the protest details on all the social media. I believe there is no place for anger, aggression and fraud in our friendly and family-oriented city of Norman.
If your corporate office is willing to contact me to talk about this issue you can call or email me. Even though I believe your franchise could be built on high moral values and standards, there should be consequences for unacceptable behavior of your employees.

I’m having the exact same issue. Did you ever get your problem resolved? Because I have not been able to do so. I’ve been trying to get a credit on my account because the location that I use I’ve been charged for the bug addition to my monthly charge and they haven’t been putting it on for the last couple of months. I got the best wash and was offered and starting 12/19/21 was when i purchased it it was cut off and not valid 2/8/22. the person I spoke with said I guess I’ll give you a free wash. Very disrespectful and acted like I was a waste of your time. I paid for 3 months only of the top wash. Very embarrassing for me. I have been using your Cleveland Georgia location sense it opened and it didn’t take it no time to become a very undesirable place to go not to mention that your not getting what your paying for due to broken and missing wash bay parts. Today I used the Zip Car Wash on Classen Blvd in OKC. The washing equipment pulled my rear number away from the vehicle. I notified the manager who gave me plastic tie strips to attaché the bumper to the car!!! When I asked what he would do to repair the damage he did it probably happened before I got to the car wash. I asked to file a claim and he took more than 30 min to show me the form. He said I could not fill out the form that it was only to be completed by him!!!! I did not get to describe the incident or submit pictures. I asked for his name and he would not give it to me. I have a very bad feeling about this manager and the integrity of zip car wash. He said I would be contacted within 72 hrs regarding resolution. We will see what happens. Stay tuned.

Good morning my son had just purchased his vehicle on 11/21 and when he went through your car wash on Kingston pike in Knoxville TN on 11/22, the part that locks your driver side tires on broke both of his valve stem sensors off. So when he came out of the car wash both driver tires were flat. We have video and pictures showing what happened. I let the employees know, and I was told to come back the next morning to speak with the supervisor Randall. After going back the next day due to the car still being on the car wash parking lot. Randall said that there wasn’t anything that the car wash could do. But t I’m not understanding that when the car wash was what caused both his driver side tires to go flat and you could see where the valve stem sensors were broken off on the driver side tires. I am just trying to let someone know due to there’s nothing in your instructions, or handbook that says you all are not responsible. Randall didn’t even apologize for the tires going flat or anything. I just wanted to express how this experience with your car wash and the supervisor was very poor and such a bad experience for my son. Due to the car wash breaking off the valve stem sensors my son had to pay $50 per sensor to make sure that his tires would be okay. That was money that he had to spend due to no fault of his own.

I have tried contacting zips at each location in Memphis and the home office. I have left messages and put on tickets to cancel my membership. I keep getting billed for services I’m not receiving. I spoke with an attorney who stated this would be considered theft and can be handled in court and that we could start a class action lawsuit as well. Keep your documentation. Employees on phone when driving thru, just spray little do not get bugs off front of car before entering wash! Close early just put cone out and still there. I have been in business before (service station) and understand if no management just ride clock and you loose business. Just for your info if don’t know can’t fit problems.

I have used this particular car wash, several times. No Problems.
But on MAY 26, 2021 I Pressed, The Full Package Button. IT WOULD NOT TAKE MY DEBIT CARD?? I Tried Several Times, No Luck.
I HAD TWO CARS BEHIND ME.
So I Pressed Any Button, That Would Take My Card.
HAVE THESE MACHINES BEEN SET UP ??
SO THE CUSTOMER, HAS NO OTHER CHOICE TO MAKE !!
My First Call WAS, AUGUST 2, 2021 Spoke With Tonya. I told her the ordeal. Well, We Got Disconnected ??
My Second Call Was Today, AUGUST 23, 2021. Got A Recording.
I HAVE TWO CHARGES: JUNE $35 & JULY $35. TOTAL=$70
MY BANK WILL STOP PAYMENT. Yes, I Need The $70 Dollars.
I Am A Senior, On A Fixed Income.

I was verbally offered unlimited car washes for 30 days for $10. I accepted and handed the attendant my debit card. After the transaction, I was handed a receipt and I asked the attendant to clarify. He said I just joined the ZIPS Car Wash Club and it would be $10 for the first couple of months and then it goes to $35 per month. I said I did not want that, I did not want any reoccurring charges, this is not what he offered to me just a few minutes before running my debit card information. He said I could go to the company’s web site and cancel my membership. I talked to the manager and he said he could not help me and pointed me to the company’s web site. I talked to the District Manager (Eddie), again he said he could not help me. I did open a case at the ZIPS web site and I’ve been unable to get my account canceled / closed.

It appears this is a on-going scheme to deceive customers into joining their monthly car wash club. ZIPS is not responding to me and others because this is some kind of illegal cash-flow scheme.
I created a Fraud Report with the Federal Trade Commission. I’m going to the State Attorney General’s office this week.

Been trying to cancel membership for two months, however they continue to debit my bank account. Calling is of no use as you will not get a reply, Have submitted another “ticket” this is so so frustrating I suppose this is why according to rumor mil zips is being sold but not until they get done cooking the books.

I recently realized that I have been overcharged for months on my monthly service. When I made contact today with a Zips employee he stated that price changes changed due to new ownership. I am NOT happy with this and feel that it is sketchy, to say the least about how this business is operating. Please correct this issue as soon as possible by crediting the money back to my credit card. Once that has been resolved if the price is indeed your new $30.00 I will be canceling my service. My original cost was to be $14.95 then I added the extra $5.00 for the pre-cleaning which brought it to $19.95. For several months my particular Zips no longer does the extra so I shouldn’t have to pay for a service I am not receiving. Please let me know what I need to do further to make sure this issue is corrected as soon as possible.

I was involve in incident inside your car wash, while inside your car wash. The Manager on duty stopped the wash line, but when she started the wash back up the car stated rolling forward and could not stopped. My vehicle bump the back of another person car, her name is Robin Price. Your Manager on duty took her incident report, but there was no damage done to my vehicle. So Manager told me to leave, She told incident report for your company to pay for this lady car to be repair. Now this lady was told that your company will not take this matter, that she should have gotten my insurance to take care of this incident. We was far apart from each other and never would have had an incident with each other, if your Manager had not stopped the wash line, when started back up, pushed us all rolling up on each other and could not stopped with our cars in neutral. Well long story short I will not be responsible for this lady car. I have spoken to my Attorney Keyon Meyers, he states car wash is responsible, from the Manager stopping the wash and starting the wash not waiting until we all could clear each other. Please contact me about this matter before I bring suite against your company for neglect.

I just noticed I was charged $29.95 for next month. It is supposed to be $15.00. The location I use is horrible!!! Literally half the equipment is broken and has been for months. Only about 25% of your car is even touched by a brush. Have gone by several times during normal you normal business hours and the place is closed. Have asked your employees on a couple of occasions what the problem is. Most logical response so far is “ the owners don’t give a shi…” That is obvious. Refund my money at once and cancel my membership.

Zip’s carwash does not keep their word. Our 2016 F250 mirrors were damaged while in their car wash. They were very helpful and willing to fix these issue in the beginning. NOW they will not return phone calls, emails, messages we have left at our locations. Completely ghosted us. Very disappointed considering we have had at least one membership the entire time they have been in our town. BEWARE, they will not fix problems created by their carwash. We aren’t the only customers that have experienced this problem. Very disappointed

Mirrors are to be folded going through any car wash. Besides their disclaimers at the front of their washes clearly state that they are not responsible for those kind of damages unless its a fault with their equipment, meaning if the car before or after you vehicle sustained the same damages. Go and buy a damn mirror online and replace it.

In Oklahoma City, on NW Expressway, machine pushed our car into another vehicle. Manager claimed the policy states “customer must honk to inform worker of possible problem.” That information is NOT posted on location site or on the website. Manager claimed no liability. I have requested the video of the incident, but none has been provided. Due to lack of cooperation I will be contacting an attorney and calling local news investigation team to help.

My car tire and rim were damaged in the car wash and I was told the damages would be paid. I submitted the estimate on Tuesday. I still have no car and have not had any response from your company. I was told I would only get the expenses paid. I have not had a car all week and what do you expect me to do? I was told by the manager you would not pay for a rental car.

Log in through google or Facebook – doesn’t work. Can someone please help me cancel my account that was cancelled 3 months ago? Dear Mr. Dinkins: Last week I went to my Zips Car Wash in Alcoa, TN, and was advised by the attendant that as of June 30th my recently purchased Susan G. Komen’s “Walk for the Cure” discount wash card was no longer valid. And I would have to pay the full wash amount.
I was also told I needed to sign up for a new discount program if I wanted a continue my Zips wash program but it would be more expensive.
I also was told to go to the Zips Corporate Web Site to request a refund for my $80 paid in advance Zips SGK Discount Wash Card. I did and found no Zips Corporate Website location/process to request an SGK refund.

Hello my name is kameron bosman. Im a former employee, i have a few complaints. The first is that i was supposed to get my check Friday (07/02/21) but it is now Thursday (07/08/21). Im a little frustrated about this cause i have things i need to pay and no one warned me about this. Also just so yall are aware i have pressed charges on one of yalls managers. His name is Nassim he is the manager of the store in Arlington Tx. I pressed charges cause he put his hands on me and im at 16. He also is very unprofessional as a manager and definitely should not be one. More than once has he yelled at customers, he has REFUSED customers refunds; saying that we do not do them. He has yelled and cursed at me (“shut the f**k up!”) in front of a customer because i was trying to help the customer get his refund. So i have a witness to that. Also i had emailed the regional manager and in that email i stated that i didnt want to quit, and he has claimed i did. I have Nassim on voice recording when yelling at me and putting his hands on me. Also saying that he wasnt firing me, but i never quit and refusing to let me clock in. The day the customer witnessed him yelling at me i had walked out cause of him verbal abusing and i was going to report him. I havent been treated fairly or nicely since working there and strongly believe that he shouldnt be working there. I have had many many customers ask me for the corporate number so they can report him. But Nassim has never given it. I would love to explain in better details over the phone if yall could call me please. There is plenty more i would like to explain. 682 271 XXXX
