I have been using xoom for a 5 yrs and recommended quite a few friends of mine. Lately it has been a night mare dealing with them. It has been 12 days and my transaction they don’t know what is going on. (Transaction XEFXQAYV)
All they say is our partners fault in India and we have not heard back from them. It has been 8 days since they took money from my account and even I got email that money has been deposited in India. Both sender and receiver is me.
If they can do a simple transaction like this what good are they. I have started looking into other money transfer companies.

These mofos have the audacity to restric my account for no reason, been waiting for 2 weeks to have someone call me and nothing, these people dunno that they are doing…they say because myself or recipient didn’t follow terms and conditions…its not hard to send money, been doing it for 3 years now…pick person, pick money amount and send, easy…so these bu**holes never call me, xoom sucks

I am waiting for refund since Nov-Dec 2019 and no any yet.
The transaction finalized to a closed bank account. Many exchange via e-mail with Xoom sill no refund.
I won’t recommend Xoom to no body, unprofessional, no knowing what there are doing, Scam !!!

I have been xoom customer for many years (more than 10)
The quick send page in the xoom is not allowing me to select any recipient, not allowing me to change the amount and after clicking the the review button also it is throwing the error.
I also tried through the “Send Money” option and nothing happened.
I was talking to customer service at around 10:50 AM and when I asked her to connect to supervisor as I followed her directions but she kept on asking the same questions again and again. When i asked her to connect to supervisor she kept the phone on the side, without even talking for 15 min.
I waited for 35 minutes like that, and I need to escalate this with the management. I am ready to give any information re: this issue.
She disconnected the call after 35 min.
Hope some corporate persons see this. If I dont see any response, I am going to stop using the xoom.

USING XOOM HAS BEEN THEE WORSE EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE EVER,ANYWHERE WITH ANY COMPANY! YOUR REPS ARE RUDE AND THE SO CALLED SECURITY FEATURES ARE RIDICULOUS TO HAVE TO GO THROUGH EVERY TIME I WANT TO SEND MONEY! BUT WHAT IS WORSE IS THAT THE VERY NEXT DAY AFTER USING XOOM SOMEONE OPENED AN ACCOUNT ON ANOTHER INTERNATIONAL FUND TRANSFER SERVICE CALLED ‘REMITLY’ USING MY NAME, ADDRESS AND OTHER INFORMATION! THEY EVEN USED THE PICTURE OF MY DRIVER’S LICENSE I SENT TOP XOOM AND IMMEDIATELY ATTEMPTED TO SEND $800 TO AFRICA! MEANWHILE I CANNOT GET ANYONE FROM MANAGEMENT TO RETURN MY CALL REGARDING ANY OF THIS! GUESS I’LL HAVE TO WRITE THE CEO! NOT THAT THIS WOULD DO ANY GOOD!!!!!

my friend Delfin Tumaca send money from US for the children of our parish yesterday. When I went to the bank to get the money I was informed that it was already picked up. Then I checked my personal message in my phone and I saw the message forwarded by my friend from you company that indeed it was already picked up. I immediatly call my my friend to inform him the situation and he immediately call you information service. Upon his inquiry it was picked up from you partner company her in the Philippines Cebuana Lhuillier. How come that it was released without asking the real identity of the person who got it? I demand to return the money because that is for the poor children of our parish.

I have been a customer of xoom for about 8 years. I have moved about over $100,000 dollars to two recipients in the Philippines. my account was frozen when I used 4 transactions to send about $4000 to Catherine. I was unable to give her original address tha t I gave xoom. the so called xoom workers at a call center in the Philippines said that they required a copy of my bank statement showing one months transactions. I don’t do that. 2 of 3 workers gave me their employee numbers the third said that they don’t do that.

I initiated a transfer at 12.30 A.M. on the 22nd of August to the United Kingdom for upkeeps for my wife and child and paid with my debit card in the amount of $528 dollars.
I got a confirmation email at 2.45 A.M. that the funds has been completed and has been successfully deposited into the account you specified which is an account i have used time and again. Gamuchirai Mudungwe HALIFAX Account number 06398558 Routing 110001.
I have called countless times and got no proper response or any calls back from anyone at xoom.
I sent copies of my wife’s bank statement on the 23rd August to show that there were no funds in her account and got a case number 13020055.
As a result of this delay,we have incurred a lot of bank charges due to direct debits that have bounced and this has caused my family a lot of inconvenience to the point i had to sign up and order food for my daughter from the U.S. on ubereats as they have run out of groceries.
I have been with xoom for 6-7 years and the only time transfers take this long are when they are done through bank accounts.
I have reached my boiling point and xoom will definitely be hearing for my attorney’s as you will be responsible for the bank charges.

I have appreciated your service and found valuable for its ease and trustworthiness. Apparently like any company we have laws we need to abide by and at any time felt I have comprised them.
Recently I have encountered a problem that I have yet to comprehend.
The situation has evolved and I really have no idea where I am at. I was informed that I could not use your service until I provided personal financial information for review and approval. I found it highly intrusive but I gave it against my better judgement. I limited the scope of information requested but my question is this part of the company policy?
No reply was provided till I requested it. The reply given was that my increase limit was denied. I never requested an increase. Can someone give assist in this situation.
All I needed to know why I could not use Xoom and what I needed to correct the problem that I was not aware of to continue using your service.
