To Whom it May Concerns:
This is to notified one of your gas station in 14114 Vanowen St, Van Nuys, CA 91405 does not follow the company policy and procedures. If they follow then everyone should be seen equally. The Manager and Assistant Manager is not professional. They don’t do anything and always ordered and complains that nigh shift people doesn’t do anything but they don’t want to watch the video to find out if night shift people work or not. it’s a busy store, its busy even at night until 3pm. Day shift people don’t do anything most of the time but they don’t say anything because then the staff will point out on them not doing anything. Always discrepancy on the ADP, modified time, pay less hours sometimes and they don’t pay for Trainings. People always buy alcohol after time and pick up after the cut off time but they don’t say anything if that person is their favorite. You should check the last two months of video who picked up alcohol after cut off time but they just picked on the person made a mistake last week or before last week and fired him. This is not fare. This is discrimination.
without even checking the store first thing in the morning starts saying that night shift people don’t do anything. is this a professional manner? none of the Manager or the Assistant Manager is not follow professional manner. Getting the big Title doesn’t proof the better candidate for this position. Please check the store video for last two months and check the ADP for modifying.
Thanks,
Store customer

Hello,
My name is Del, and I work for StateFoodSafety. I am reaching out to you today to hopefully find ways that I can help make your job easier and Western Refining Southwest even more successful.
Keeping track of local Food safety training & certification requirements can be a headache. As a multi-state company, you face a variety of training needs and we would love to help you navigate that environment. At StateFoodSafety we specialize in regulatory compliance and can sell our training in more jurisdictions than any other training provider. We have dedicated our time and efforts to truly understanding the regulatory environment and building our courses in a way that allows us to more rapidly make regulatory-specific changes to our courses where needed ensuring that your certification and training certificates will always be accepted by your local health department.
This ability to rapidly customize our courses is one of the key features of our business. We currently have ANSI-Accredited and regulatory-approved courses modified specifically for the grocery industry. These courses have been visually modified to feel more relevant to a grocery worker while maintaining the level of training required by Health Departments across the nation. The grocery-specific programs we currently offer are:
Food Handler training (ANSI-Accredited, 70 min run-time),
Food Handler Essentials training (ANSI-Accredited, 35 min run-time),
Allergens Awareness training (ANSI-accredited 40 min run-time)
Food Protection Manager Certification Exam (ANSI-CFP Accredited), and
Off-Premise Alcohol training (150 min run-time).
Your company is unique, and we think that your training should reflect that. For this reason, we use the same rapid customization technology to make company-specific changes to our courses. These changes can range from adding extra emphasis to certain food safety topics that are important to your company by Inserting slides about company-specific policies and procedures.
If any of this is of interest to you or your company, please reach out to me at (385-325-2446) or email me at dmoody@ statefoodsafety.com
Thank you,
Del

They closed their store in Pearce Arizona which is the only store for 30 miles to get gas. Screwed the community, screwed the seniors. Our fire department now has no where to get gas in an emergency. Farmers and ranches now have no access to get gas. Just more corporate greed.
