Urgent answer required – I am closing a house in 2 weeks but I am told that I can only use Toll Brothers Title which I do not find anywhere specified on the contract. Rather I see from my Toll Brothers Mortgage agreement that Title company is my choice. My TB seller agent tried to confirm with HQ for a week with numerous phone calls and emails but no one responded to her. I left email and voice message too. If the house does not get closed in time, it is not my fault but Toll Brothers.

I would like to place a complaint against Pauline Tea, the sales manager for Glen Ellen Regency in Millis, Ma.
On initial visit, greeter, Sheila, was terrific, Pauline was deplorable. She did not show any customer service skills and in fact was condescending and arrogant. She showed total disrespect for me and my family. We had words. She did not apologize or show any graciousness. She is a weasel who hid in her office. She does not know that I am the customer and she would have no job without me. If I buy from Toll Bros, I will need another sales person. She should be fired.
Please respond what you can do to make up for Pauline’s rudeness.
Thanks,
Ellen Steele

I purchased a home in Reno, Nevada, and the whole experience has been nothing but a scam. They built the wrong house, installed the wrong kitchen backsplash, didn’t install the wrap around kitchen counter and when I questioned it, the sales agent asked me if I had paid for it and that it wasn’t a standard item. I took the list of standard items from the model and showed it to her. Paid for sealed grout it wasn’t done, exterior paint used was of the lowest quality and they put one coat on top of the stucco w/o sealer and the grey shows through, installed the wrong bathroom mirrors, windows were scratched during installation, concrete cracked in garage, extra roof tiles are still on top of my house–and this is luxury!!!

Plumber installing the pipes in original construction slab did a substandard job. He did not install as per code. The work was negligent and this caused a leak. There is major damage to my house dew to this.

Toll Brothers HQ,
I live in one of your Green Briar condos at the Regency development in Ashburn, VA. I have a problem with the Master Bedroom always being 2 to 3 degrees warmer than the rest of the condo. On a very hot summer day it can be over 5 degrees warmer in the Master Bedroom. Toll Brothers have checked the CFM’s in the condo and several registers do not meet the code requirements to be with in 10% of the engineers specifications according to the Loudoun County inspection office. If have tried numerous times to get this corrected and so far they only adjusted some registers and installed an additional cool air return with no change in the current status.

After the first year of living in our house, the entire concrete floor in the garage is cracked and the cracks continue to expand in size in next 3 years. The warranty inspector B.Bobo from the Toll Brothers said that this is normal. All concrete is crack he said! Really? They don’t want to notice obvious things: the concreting was done in violation of the technology:1. The insufficient amount of rubble 2.or not enough of reinforcement, 3.or the surface of the soil was not in level and compacted. Tall Brothers is a very dishonest construction company!

Agree. Regency at Esperanza was sold to us as an “over 55” community.’ We were told the lot that they’re building on was “one of the flatest lots in the neighborhood.”
We are older and try to avoid steps at any cost. When we visited the site after the foundation was poured we were shocked to see the foundation was several feet above grade. We reminded our sales rep that we can’t climb a lot of stairs. We said we wanted to terminate our contract and have our rather hefty deposit returned. He said that he would not be able to do that. I spoke with his boss and he said the same thing. At this point we no longer want to live in the community but the thought of forfeiting about $25,000 is hard to swallow. Our next step will be to seek legal action.

Very satisfied with the Toll Brothers. We bought a home and of course a couple challenges that were addressed and resolved. This company has been more than accommodating and I highly recommend them as excellent builders they are worth the money.

I live in Bowes Creek in Elgin Illinois. Our subdivision is almost complete with the exception of 10+ homes left to be build on our street. My complaint is that we found out today that they will be black topping our street this weekend. With the constant truck traffic our street will be ruined. Can we bill YOU to fix the damage done by all the truck traffic? Why can’t they wait until the homes are finished

Please dim all your outside lights in half to save money and save the nights from light pollution. Subject: Your planned community of Kimberton Glenn which will be under a pristine sky. All the people of Phoenixville, PA and the Indians which once camped there were awed by these incredible starry nights.
Less lights is a great seller. People are so sick of slick, LA type million-dollar neighborhoods that are lit up like prisons at night. You are world-class builders and other builders would follow you if you did this wonderful “green” project of controlling light pollution for the world.
Thank you.

You know that your company owns Coleman Builders. We came from Ca. to Boise, Idaho to purchase our home to be built in the community of Meridian, Idaho. That was at least two months ago. We have made our good faith payment of $2,000; no building has been done. My wife has health issues and we have to “bunk” with friends of ours in one of their guest rooms in Boise. There are other family members who live there as well. We understand that the winter may be worse then a year ago. That will delay things as well. We do plan to check on the building of our home and will keep reminding your company that we would like to see some progress on this home. in fact, we do plan to take pictures of our lot to see if anything does progress the way it should. Toll Brothers HQ,
Sometime back I sent a email to your company just to share a thought about your homes, it seems like it could have gone to a local office but I thought I would share it again. I’ve visited many of your homes across the country but I thought what would it be like if two great American company’s got to together on limited projects across the country, companies like Ethan Allen or Thomasville where you would offer fully furnished homes in limited communities. After traveling quite a bit myself, I thought how great it could be for older adults or others who don’t want the worry of furnishing a place or people who move frequently. Every time I hear the song “Best of Me”, by Anthony Hamilton I think of what it would mean for single parents, older adults or others entering in their Toll Brothers home styled just for them, maybe in an active adult community in Arizona or a beautiful laid back community in California or even in sunny Florida. Some of your designers do such a great job, consider challenging them even further. Just A Thought!

I have heard about your Echo Bay project in New Rochelle, NY…
I need to move near family, maybe a condo on the water, and possibly a mixed-use…
As I have plans for a children’s business, to donate to families with terminally ill children…
At 63 years old and on disability, I would never qualify for a mortgage…
So, I’m looking to pay pre-construction pricing…
Can I sit down with someone and discuss this further?
Also, I would be open to any suggestions, you may have…
