The WingHouse Bar and Grill was founded in 1994 in Largo, Florida, by Ex NFL player Crawford Ker. The original name of the company was Ker’s Winghouse.
Ker originally owned another restaurant called The Frat House. He was an absentee owner and the business failed, taking Ker’s entire investment with it. This lesson taught Ker quite a bit, however, and his next restaurant, The Winghouse, which resembles a Hooter’s restaurant, is performing much better.
The company has more than 27 locations, all in Florida, and annual revenue in 2008 of $600 million. Ker won a $1.2 million dollar lawsuit against Hooters, who claimed that his restaurants “stole” their business plan. The judge ruled in favor of Ker.

The Manager Leo at Highway 60 is sleeping with one of the bartenders. He continuously flirts with her in front of the guest and other employees. It is his business what he does behind closed doors but he should treat everyone the same and not show favoritism !

My husband and I always enjoy going to wing house, and have always had a wonderful experience until this past Thursday. We took my mother in law out to eat to the wing house in Lakeland, Fl. and got seated right away. It took our server almost 15 minutes to come get our drink order. (we got there around 5pm and they were not busy) We sat there for another 15 minutes when our server came back over to take our food order. It took her another 10 minutes to finally bring our drinks(non-alcoholic). My husband ordered sweet tea and was served unsweet tea. In order to get sweet tea, he had to get up and find our server. when she brought him sweet tea, it tasted sour, so he ordered root beer instead. When we ordered food, my husband ordered a philly cheese steak sandwich, with no onions and no peppers, and explained to the server that he is allergic to them. When we finally got our food, the potato skins were hot, but the wings were barely warm, and the sandwich wasn’t warm enough to melt the cheese. Half way through eating the sandwich, my husband found onions in it. I immediately got up and went to the front counter and asked for the manager. After a few minutes he came out to our table and we explained the problems to him. He did take the sandwich off the bill, and said that he would speak to the server. The whole time we were there, I saw him walking aimlessly around, like he was bored and didn’t want to be there. Any time before we would go in there and the manager would go to the different tables talking to the customers. We moved out of state, and enjoy going to the wing house since there are none around were we live. We will not be going there again anytime soon, if we go at all. The manager wasn’t concerned about my husband’s allergies, and the server never checked up on our table during the whole time, or communicated to us about our order. Very disappointed.

On my birthday (2-25)last weekend I went to the Winghouse in Kissimmee Florida on Vine Street and I must say for the first time I felt disappointed because the wing house is my favorite wing place to go to and when me and my family arrived we sat at the table for 15 minutes no one came and then after they took the order 31 minutes later I asked to speak to a manager because our food haven’t came and the manager said that they’re waiting on some of my wings so when the wings finally came to the table they taste like they been cooked in very old oil at that point I just wanted to leave still hungry as well as my kids and my grandkids this is very unacceptable to me and I just feel like I need to complain about it because it was my birthday weekend and even though this was it where we was having my birthday dinner at we was actually having lunch because we like the Winghouse

As frequent customers, I would have thought this would ever happen. Last night around 9:30pm on 3/15/2018 my husband enter the Winghouse on Speedway BLVD in Daytona,,to grab a bite to eat. My husband who is dealing with skin cancer on his face , was rudely treated by a waitress. He had asked for a booth or table( in which there were some open) but she informed him there wasn’t. She preceded to tell him he could sit at the bar, BUT, was told to sit at the end of the bar away from other customers. As if he isn’t dealing with enough. My husband who is 67 yrs old, owns a racetrack for 30 yrs and is dedicated to racing and enjoys going to many different types of racing was in Daytona to attend a racing event. His whole night was ruined because of this disrespectful young ladie who needs to learn manners. When we called the certain Winghouse to speak to a manager, his demeanor was of less then concern. Ya he offered some sort of gift card as though that was going to make it all better. A apology from this disrespectful young lady would have meant more.
Imagine what would happen if a person of another race or nationality was treated this way. We might just follow suit on this inhumane treatment of someone dealing with cancer.
