He bought the fashion division in 1975 and incorporated it as Jones Apparel Group.
The new company grew quickly and in 2004 bought the luxury department store Barneys New York for $400 million, which it sold in 2007 for $943.2 million to Dubai-based investment firm Istithmar.
In December of 2013 private equity firm Sycamore Partners bought The Jones Group and split it up into four companies: Nine West Holdings, Easy Spirit, Ann Klein, and NW Jewelry Group.

I purchased a Nine West black handbag, and after carrying it 3 different occasions, the teeth on the two zippered pockets started to fall out. This bag was very attractive, but has to be throw in the trash because it looks awful and is not useable because the zippers don’t work. I am surprised and disappointed. Should have bought a cheap purse at Walmart !!!!

I am contacting the Jones Group because Jones purchased Gloria Vanderbilt in 2002. The new material that stretches – stretches for enough for a damn elephant. I am a size 4 been a size 4 for decades and always wore Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda Jeans. You guys have changed the material so a gal who is small and purchases a size 4 looks like she borrowed from her 20 lb heavier cousin. It hangs by my butt and around the hips and the size 4 is the smallest available. If you want to change the Amanda line then call it something else!!! Fat Amanda or Stretchy Butt Jeans or Jeans for two!! Please restore the original “AMANDA” Pant to go back to the 98% cotton and 2 spandex or back to the good old days of 100% cotton. And please stay away from all the other colored material you use. I look like I friggin slept in these jeans after wearing only two hours. Thanks for making my fine figure look like a slob. I am really pissed after purchasing 5 pairs. They all do the same thing stretch and sag. I would like to know how I can get my money back. Please email me. Thanks. Longing for the old Amanda Jeans.

Having been happy with the purchase of a number of your Jones New York Signature Woman blouses over the past several years, I am extremely disappointed with the quality of the white blouse purchased this past year. After only having been worn and washed two, maybe three times at the most, the material just ripped. The rip was in the very front of the blouse..it was as if the fabric was just rotten. My finger just went right through the fabric. I am easy on my clothing and take good care of everything I own. This was purchased at a store, not on line and I do not have a receipt. I am extremely disappointed because I thought I had finally found a quality basic staple for my wardrobe.

On April, 2016 I ordered 3 pairs of your Timeshare shoe in 3 different colors. Also, if you check my order history with your company, you will find that it is quite extensive. Nevertheless, the heel on the black version of the shoe broke as I was walking to my car yesterday. I have been told that after 1 year I am on my own, so in other words, after a year I should expect this type of quality of lack thereof and I dare not request a replacement or refund. Let me ask you, when you purchase shoes, what do you expect? One year of wear? I doubt it and DO NO appreciate being told that there is nothing that can be done. I provided the info below to your customer service “supervisor” and I need someone from your company to contact me regarding rectifying this situation.

Hello I’m resigning from the outlet in Williamsburg Va which was once an franchise until my boss Joel Fisher sold the company before he passed away. Ive been with the company for nine years under Joel . I inquired about my vacation that started over in January i thought but because we switched with corporate in March they are telling me that I only get paid 3 days vacation cause i didnt stay the full year..I feel I should get my 12 days cause i only took two days of my vacation. I usually take my vacation in January and again n december but because of the death and the switch I couldn’t. I feel i still shoyld receive my benefits

I went to a nine west outlet store where I was sold only one shoe in the box. The store manager told me I would have to drive the hour to the store to receive the missing shoe because they were unable to send it to me because I didn’t live the required two hours away from the store even though it was the store associates fault I only received one shoe. She told me she drive an hour and 20 minutes to work every day as if that has anything to do with the issue. She never apologized for the mistake and said it was human error. Please don’t shop at silver sands outlet.

I made a purchase at your Nine West Outlet store in the Carolina Prenium Outletq in Smithfield NC. I had the ladies to order me a pair of your shoes and have them shipped to my home. Well your store has primitive method of payment. In 2017 they are making carbon copies of customers credit cards for this payment service. I have reason to believe my credit card information somewhere in this transaction was compromised. Stolen, used for out of town purchases. On 7/30/2017 Carbon #5148533. My bank said there was a copy of my card made an attempt use. I’ having this issue investigated somewhere between that store and the store the shoes were sent from my information was stolen and used.

I have been on a roller coaster trying to find customer service for the brand Bandolino. Danielle, the last person I spoke to, gave me a telephone number to the Jones Group Corp. office. I was not able to get an operator on the line or anyone else without an extension. Is there a way to speak with someone regarding the Bandolino clothing line? I just washed a brand new pair of Selene capri skinny jeans to wrear this evening.
When I took them out of the washer, the waist band was detached around the back side. I have never had this happen before, not even with old jeans or pants. I still have all the tags and I have taken pictures. Please contact me as soon as possible. Thank you.

I’m trying to contact the department Manager that determines who ships to Hawaii and the neighbor islands. I would like to discuss price savings for shipping of product to Hawaii and also your neighbor island locations. I went to a Nine West Outlet in Atlantic City and my experience was horrible, a young man was working in the store, and as I was asking him for shoe sizes in front of the store talking on the cell phone. Now personally I thought it was rude, I have been a customer of Nine West for many years, this wasnt what I expected. While I was trying shoes on he went to the back and brought out food to eat, and I couldnt understand what he was saying due to his chewing and talking. What has professionalism come to, and to top it off he was the rudest person I have ever met he told me we dont have your size and when I asked to order it he simply said no, he didnt check the web like they usually do he just said no. NINE WEST YOU CAN DO BETTER.

I went to the Deer park store they did not have my size so I asked if it could be ordered. without even looking the Girl said no. I took a picture of the shoe and went online. Online they are 89.99 and in the store they are 19.99. I called the Corp. Office spoke to Pamela who came on the phone right away and said that corp. could not override the store but the corp. manger before her and Rachel said that it could be done. The left hand does not know what the right hand is doing! This gives Nine west a bad name. Please so to Macys they know policy and prices and they are much cheaper and much better customer service including Mangers and corp. offices.

My name is Stacey Crisante. I worked at Nine West from Jan . 20, 1990 to Oct . 1, 2015. I worked in the West Deptford DC as a Receiving/ Returns Manager. My past 26 years are flawless. I have an outstanding record and not a blemish in my file. I was brought into the Human resource office and terminated on Oct. 1. The reason was employee complaints. I asked “Why was this never brought to my attention ? Why didn’t we have a discussion and at least tell my side of the story. ” Nothing, right to termination. I lost all my benefits, no severance pay, and was escorted out the door by security. I do not deserve this. I put my heart and soul in the company for 26 years and this is how I get treated. I was hired as a manager back in 1990. I watched employees advance that worked for me and eventually became my boss. This is not how I want to remember Nine West. My english is not so good,so i am trying to express my concerns as best as i can, a few days back i went to a closing store to purchase a few shoes as well as to return a pair of boots that didnt fit me, I have called customer service several times and emailed them as well,my complain is about your store manager at La Jolla Westfield mall,who is unnaceptably rude,uses profanity with her employees and customers,my numero de ticket is 54529,this complain keeps getting ingored and youre about to lose me as a customer I have been your customer for many many years and i am appalled,extremely angry and quite dissapointed in not just your service at your retail stores but also your poor customer service when a customer complains WHAT kind of company is this that allows customers to be cussed out,mistreated,and discriminated against based on their race! your store manager at that location was rude and she refused to help me because i spoke to her in spanish I AM a tourist i live in Mexico city and i seldomly came here so why is it that nothing is being said to me after my complain, im my country nobody treats their employees with words like XXXXX and move your ass…I am telling all my friends to never purchase your product again as you allow this kind of peopla to work, i felt insulted by that lady and the one manager that was going to help me with my shoe was forced to clean some wood pink thing and she was also forced to ignored me,i was waiting for service for over 40 minutes….
