Visible Wireless is the prepaid offshoot of Verizon Wireless. Founded in 2018, the company did some early advertising but has since been quiet about pushing this platform.
Verizon hasn’t said how much money the company put towards this platform, but current CEO Miguel Quiroga said the program had been discussed for several years before its launch.
The company operates a prepaid cell phone and data plan for a flat rate per month. The service uses Verizon’s 4G and 5G networks. The company will mail a SIM card, customers download the app, and the service is connected.
At the moment, the company is best known for great starting rates, such as 3 months of unlimited service for $20 a month in April 2021.
In January 2023, the company announced that it would offer a $ 15-a-month unlimited plan for new customers for their first year of service.
Visible Wireless maintains a corporate office in Greenwood Village, Colorado.
