In the 1970s, the company continued to expand by acquiring other convenience stores, such as the 36 Louden Hills stores in 1979 and six Ideal Markets. As of 2017, there are 267 locations.
Kroger owned Turkey Hill Minit Markets for a few years but then sold it to the EG Group in 2018.
Turkey Hill Minit Markets is owned by the EG Group and operated independently from Turkey Hill, a separate Peak Rock Capital-owned brand of iced tea, ice cream, and other beverages and frozen desserts.
In January 2020, Burger King opened a location inside a Turkey Hill Minit Market in Pennsylvania. This is part of an overall plan by Turkey Hill to include fast food locs inside many of its stores.
