Lee Williams founded Plum Laboratories in 2016 after a local police department requested a portable communications device that would allow officers to communicate with one another, as well as have internet access, even if the department communications systems went down.
The Plum Case was created to fulfill that need. Since 2016, Plum Laboratories has developed 11 patented cases for first responders, NASA, hospitals, the National Guard, and emergency management agencies.
Some of Plum Laboratory’s clients include some of the most prestigious organizations in the US, both public and private: NASA, Hulu, ESPN, US Army, Duke Energy, and Sony.
Plum Laboratories maintains a corporate office in Springfield, Tennessee.
