As of 2015, the company had 84 restaurants in 18 states, with approximately 60 percent of these being franchised operations. Since 2006, a private equity firm, Goldner Hawn Johnson Morrison, has held a majority ownership stake in the restaurant chain. The company has said that they are looking to expand the number of locations in 2017.
Houlihan’s Restaurant offers a wide variety of food, including center cut steaks, flat bread pizzas, salads, hamburgers and wraps. Bars serve wine, wings, and “Small Bites” appetizers that often win local “Happy Hour” awards.
