After a bad experience with waiting for a tow truck, Corey Brundage decided to challenge the ancient method of dealing with tow trucks and roadside service by creating his own app called Honk.

The Honk app is an on-demand platform that connects motorists, tow companies, and insurance agencies. The company’s team of customer care personnel are the human interface to stranded motorists. 

In June 2019, the company also add a parking purchase option to the app, allowing clients to find, reserve, and pay for parking space for their vehicle.

In April 2020, Honk added AI to its platform, including chatbot, that will not only make the app faster but will help to keep users informed each step of the way regarding their roadside assistance request.
