The company was chosen to be one of the original members of the S&P 500 in 1937, and two years later changed its name to Genesco.
Today Genesco sells dress and casual footwear and sports apparel in over 2,500 stores in the United States Puerto Rico, as well as international locations in Canada, the UK, and Ireland.
