In December 2021, Cash Saver announced that it was acquiring two Price Chopper locations in Iowa and rebranding them to Cash Saver stores.
Cash Saver relies on Associated Wholesale Grocers enormous warehouses for their stock. In 2012, the company built a 30,000 square foot expansion to their Kansas City headquarters building.
