I need to speak to someone in charge at Sun Edison. I had solar put on our home 2 yrs. ago, we had the top of the line sun Edison panels installed by a company called Unisun..
We have had continuing problems with 4 of the panels under-producing. Unisun came out a year ago and fixed the electrical boxes on the roof that were installed improperly, causing water to get into the electrical cables running to the solar panels. This year I noticed that several panels appeared to be under-producing, so I contacted Unisun Solar Co. to no avail. could I get a person on the line. I eventually found out that Unisun folded and sold out to soligent solar co. Upon contacting this company I was informed they were not honoring any of Unisuns solar jobs. I would have to contact the manufacturers of our panels to have them replaced if I have some bad panels. That company is YOU Sun Edison. But then I saw on the news 2 weeks ago that Sun Edison a multi-billion dollar co. filed for Bankruptcy. So now I have a solar system that doesn’t work and no one to help me, and no way of any one honoring my 20 year warranty. I was told by our local police dept. to seek an attorney and file a class action suit against Unisun and Sun Edison. If there is any individual out there that is dealing with the same problems with the above 2 companies, Please e-mail me.
Sincerely disappointed,
Kate

Hello, I am contacting you because of a problem that has just surfaced. A few days ago I received paperwork for a mechanics lean on my home. I know that this is just to protect the investment in case we ever sold our home…or at least that’s what I originally thought as to why we received it. Yesterday, I spoke with a source from a partner company telling me that the reason why I received the mechanics lean is because you, Sunedison, have not paid the company that installed the panels, bright planet solar, for their work. My source told me that bright planet hasn’t been paid for approximately 500 jobs….that’s 500 JOBS. Not cool. I am kindly and politely DEMANDING that you pay bright planet so the mechanics lean is taken off my home. I understand you are going through chapter 11 and can empathize with the fact that your company is going through some rough times, but not paying a partner company is not acceptable, especially when it affects me, as well as others. I am EXPECTING quick resolve to this issue and look forward to working with you in the future, and for you to know that I am someone in my business that has brought, and will be bringing more business to you in the future. I just signed up 2 more people to go solar just yesterday. Lastly, and I don’t know if the last issue has anything to do with the restructuring, but I have called the 800 number 3x approximately 2 weeks ago, leaving voicemails, never getting a response. I hope this is just temporary. Thank you.
