I have been suffering with intense chronic pain for over 14 years. In 2009 my wife suggested that I write my autobiography about the chronic pain and all I have been through over the years. She convinced me that hopefully with this book I would be able to help others with the history of pain I have been living with. I had an Eon implanted in February of 2009 which helped make my pain tolerable to live with after the stimulator was implanted. My wife died in February of 2012 of cancer which just devastated me. I then became driven to finish this book which I did in early 2014. I had been very high on letting everyone know who read my book about the Eon spinal cord stimulator (SCS) and what it had done for me. After writing letters, emails and sending faxes to SJM and no one really interested about the book I spent almost 3 years to write about what helped me I am now sorry I even wrote this book as I had a great opinion of St Jude until right this minute. I spent all of that hard work trying to promote St Jude Medical and I hope to god that my wife has not seen the outcome. My wife and I were the only ones who really cared about St Jude and the SCS. At this point I thank St Jude for Nothing at all. RN Scott
