I was buying shoes for needy children for back to school and they blocked me from buying, cancelled my orders and told me I couldn’t order in the future. I was paying full retail price. Why would a company not want to sell their products?
I will give my business to someone that wants it. You just lost multiple thousands. How does the CFO feel about that?

I have visited the Shoe Show in Greensburg Indiana many times. I wanted to make this comment to possibly make someone aware that I have always had positive experiences at this location. An employee named Amanda is always so helpful & very attentive to all customers it seems. I hope they treat her well!

i think you should know your employees in covington,tn store are really very rude and obnoxious to customers as they were to me and my two sons.they watch you and make snide remarks like we are too poor to buy or afford the shoes.they even complained because i only have one eye and barely see out the other because i couldnt see good enough to put the shoes straight in the boxes as i was looking for some.some of my friends have already said they werent going back. i think we deserve better service than those employees give out.i try not to complain but enough is enough. sorry but those employees really need to be dealt with.

I used to work for this company, And I can tell you if you would have come in my store you would have been treated with respect, BUT any other store nah, I loved my job but only left because I was not treated right and when offered a raise was turned down, Even tho I was a good company man and would travel wher ever they wanted me to go, out of state, weekends and all.

WAS one of them the manager ? Its a shame you lose business because of that .

I was at the Coeur d’alene Store in Idaho and I was over hearing the manager talking about how he had a heroin problem and had felonies. I don’t feel comfortable shopping in a store with someone like that.

I went to the Shoe Show location in Rocky Mount NC on 1820 Sunset Ave, Rocky Mount NC 27804, and they refused to honor a discount coupon that is placed on the American Express Serve website. The coupon is current and expires on the 16th of January 2020. So, I didn’t buy any shoes from that store.

On 11/7/19 my husband and I walked into the store to buy 5 different pair of shoes for us and our kids. We were carrying 3 boxes around and were approached by a cop. The woman said we traded out shoes and left old ones. It was a bold faced lie. Obviously someone had did a shoe switch on them but wasn’t us. She starts getting rude and loud and swears she seen it happen. We were appalled. We are highly regarded in our community and live well off and had zero reasons to steal shoes. We demanded they watched the surveillance video and we wanted an apology. However the only person that had access to the cameras wouldn’t answer there phones. I have emailed customer service and called trying to reach a corporate email or phone number. We want the surveillance video watched and we demand the girl who lied and called the cops gets proper punishment. I have never been so embarrassed or seen a store ran so improperly. I run a huge company and respect the retail outlets , however, I hope this matter is handled and we receive an apology. I refuse to drop the issue because of the time wasted and the anxiety and embarrassment we endured. We are contacting a lawyer to see what rights we have in this matter. We have been banned for the shoe store. The cop seemed a little taken back by the fact they were even there and looked shocked and embarrassed that he had to detain us for something we obviously didn’t do. The cameras need to be watched and I need to be contacted. Thank you for your time.

I was at shoe department located in Columbiana mall in Columbia SC and there was a blonde hair young white woman that was very rude. I wanted to exchange my daughter shoes but I didn’t have a receipt and she told me “well I don’t know if you bought them here” well the boots are still on the shelf and I asked if she can run the cameras back or use my card number to find the receipt she said no. She even check the bottom and it wasn’t worn. I work in retail and her attitude disgusted me!

My husband got a pair of shoes from the Eau Claire Wisconsin store. He put them on and the eyelid of the shoe (where you lace the shoes up was broke. So we took the shoes back to the store but they didn’t have another size. So the customer service guy said that we would have to pay shipping to receive another pair of shoes. That makes no since at all. We bought the shoe from your company and there was something wrong with it why in the world would we be responsible for the shipping cost of a new shoe. Your shoe was broken and you should replace it free of charge. When a customer makes a purchase in your store, spends there money they expect a product that is good and if there happens to be a defect then it is only reasonable to ask for a new item without any cost. Plus the management was VERY rude. It was the worst customer service we have EVER received. Your company should expect more from their management staff and not make people pay for shipping of an item that was not their fault it was defective.

I ordered my fiance a pair of Nike shoes online as a gift. I gave them to him at a gathering. I was horrified they sent two right shoes. OMG it was embarrassing. I contacted customer service they shipped out a right shoes. The shoe was supposed to be at my local store Tuesday and I would be contacted it’s Saturday and not a word. It didn’t arrive there until Thursday but I would be waiting if I hadn’t called myself. I will never order online again from them

Good morning. I am having a dilemma. I was in the local Corbin KY Shoe Show on Friday, August 3rd. I have 4 children, 3 in school, so I was purchasing numerous pairs of shoes, socks, accessories, and backpacks. I was using your layaway services since I do not have that kind of money up front. Like I said, I have 4 children, money isn’t abundant. The lady at the front desk rang it all up and had it set. She told me I needed to sign the little signature pad. I informed her that it was showing the entire amount, not just the minimum down payment (which she got wrong btw, minimum payment is 10%, I owed 354.77 and she said I had to pay 77 down. 10% is $35.) So I asked her if she was sure because I didn’t have that amount of money. She assured me yes. So, I sign and accept. Transaction goes through and immediately this lady says, “I am so sorry, the full amount charged!” I was thinking omg she’s got to be just joking with me since I specifically just asked her more than once if this would happen. No. She was not joking. My bank account was overdrawn and I also have to pay $36 overdraft fee because of this mistake that was a NOT my fault. I don’t have money for gas or food this week. I would like to know what this company can and will do to settle this matter. I’m going to be reaching out to corporate as well. This was not my fault and I should not have to go through this because I decided to use your company. Thank you for your time.

This store has the most horrendous customer service. Girls loudly picking on other customers from behind the register and not caring about customers needs. In addition to that, While trying on shoes this past Saturday my daughter (15) had with her a small bag from another shop. She set it down to try on a pair of shoes and when she turned back it was gone. She looked through the areas in which she was and even looked through some boxes thinking it slipped in. She moved the boxes from the shelf to look even further. She then asked the male store employee if anyone found a package and turned it in. When he said no we asked about the cameras and he told us they are not on. We gave up and left for the day. When I got home I put a message on a local Facebook page asking if anyone happened to come across this bag who happened to be at the mall that day to please message me. Here’s the problem, although no one found her bag 4 other women said the same thing happened to them in the exact store and when asked about the cameras, were told they were not on. So either there is a serious thief among the shoppers that waits for people to put bags down and snatches them up within minutes or something suspicious is going on with the staff or both. All these events happened within minutes of setting the bag down within the proximity of the shopper only to literally turn around and it’s gone.
Just thought you should be aware. You would think that in this day and age customer service would be top notch but it appears that this store/company doesnt care. It is the most horrible experience I have had in any retail store ever!

June 2 nd 2018 I had a very bad experience from the Albemarle NC location on 24/27 Hwy. a woman called Kimberly treated me horrible. She never stopped to help and we asked her for the other shoe to try on and She said they are in the back. She never stopped doing what she was doing then she said Are You Going To Buy Them. Basically saying I’m not getting the shoe unless you are going to buy them. I took the shoe off and threw the box to the side. When my witness was ready to walk out I she said something about the shoes and I told her No from her Attitude No. She denied everything and I told her she was a horrible sales person.

I’m a100% Disabled Veteran, I live in Oklahoma they have graciously granted me a tax exempt status. Company’s that do not acknowledge the tax exemptions for sales in Oklahoma are subject to a $500.00 fine. I ordered on line and was told to pay the sales tax and get it back from the State. I don’t believe this is what the State had in mind. I was wondering where does Shoe Show Corporate Officers stand on this issue before I report it to the Tax Department State of Oklahoma?

Last night, we went into the Hendersonville store – 6 people at the front cash desk. I think 4 were working & 2 others with company shirts on – I think they were hanging out. They all did acknowledge us w/ a ” hello”. Then, 2 went to the back cash desk. They were talking & laughing really loudly. I was never asked if I needed help. I was planning on purchasing shoes but did not because the team working there totally ignored us. During the time we were in the store at the most, there were 4 customers, then 3, then just my husband and myself. I work for a retailer & we believe customer service is so important. I understand enjoying your time at work but not to ask customers if they need help???And being so loud over jokes about a woman – I think it was one employees grand parent! Or it was about social media videos. My own daughter can be irritating when she is watching videos online so I understand the uncontrollable laughter but at work???? Will not shop there again.

I am a former employee of Shoe Show in Ashland City Tennessee. I literally put blood, sweat, and tears into opening a new store in our area. Working 12 to 15 hour days. After unloading truck loads of shoes putting up shelfs and hustling to be ready for opening day I was offered a manager position. I accepted and was very excited to start my new career with shoe show. I was a little nervous and was given little to no training at all! We were all sent for company drug test a few days later the results were coming back. All but mine. The lab said it was a mix up and couldn’t give a reason to why it was taking so long. I asked if I could go back in and give another sample, but was told that was not allowed. I called the lab and could not get any answers other than my employer or physician who ordered the test would need to call. In the mean time I’m running a store the best I can depending on key holders to unlock and lock the doors. I truly gave this job 110% and one day in middle of my third double in a row I get a call from home office. I’m thinking they finally figured out the lab mess. NO WAY! To my shock and surprise im told I’m being terminated IMMEDIATELY to clock out and leave the store. I was in disbelief and tried to get an explanation. The only thing I got was ” you are being terminated for violating the companies alcohol and drug policy ” Now my test was negative ! But was apparently not done in a timely matter This was a situation out of my control and due to miscommunication throughout the company I lost my job! I’ve got nowhere with phone calls and have been hung up and spoken to in a way that is unfair, disrespectful and rude! It’s really sad to see how a company can treat an employee without question.

On May 13, I went to the shoe dept. store at highland square in Hendersonville. Store manager, Christy, was very helpful in my search for shoes for my 88yr old mother who has dementia and who is in assisted living. I had gone to the store twice, the last time with my mother. Christy was excellent in giving us one on one attention. Christy new how challenging it was for me and she showed compassion. Christy’s knowledge of what type of shoes to buy for my mom was perfect. We bought two pairs of shoes. The next day was mothers day and my mom commented several times that her feet felt good all day. That made my mother’s day because of Christy’s great customer service and knowledge of shoes.
I sent an email to your corporate customer service about my great experience. A Daniel Fortier responded and said he would make sure Christy would be acknowledged.
Well, today I returned to the store with a friend who was buying shoes. I spoke with Christy and again thanked her. I asked her if she ever received an acknowledgement from corporate on my email and she said no. This is unacceptable for a company failing to recognize an outstanding employee!
I would appreciate her performance be acknowledged.
I have gone to your shoe dept encore at the mall and it does not compare to Christy and her staff.
Thank you

I placed an order on 3/7/17 in store that was to be shipped to my house. When I received it I got two right shoes. I tried to call the customer service number and received no answer and even left a message and no return call. I called my local store where the order was placed and he was able to contact them. They pretty much told me I would have to return the shoes to the store and start my process over. Which in my case means I have to drive 40 mins out of my way to return something the company messed up and wait another week for them to be mailed to my house. I emailed customer service asking my they are not providing me with the customer service any business should. Why do I have to fix something they messed up. Why not send out a new pair of shoes and send a return label for the other shoes that were messed up? This is not good show of customer service! So at this point I am waiting for my shoes I went into the store and discussed getting my shoes fixed and reordered and a week later nothing still. I once again emailed both customer service and the lady whom returned my first email and she stated she was waiting to send out new shoes until I let her know I wanted new ones. If I ordered them and email you for something I have already paid for. Please know and have the common sense to think of course I want my shoes. So here it is 3/26/17 and I have called the store and still nothing on my shoes. This is beyond ridiculous! What do I have to do to get what I paid for and how long does it take!!! I’m so fed up with Show Dept. Worst customer service ever!

I visited a shoe show in Dalton, GA the other day and as I walked in the door there was a shorter hispanic girl at the register who was sitting on top of the checkout counter looking at her phone. She looked up and softly mumbled something when I said hello then went back to her phone. I was in the store around 45 minutes looking around (while the girl had her eyes glued to her phone the entire time) and even asked for help but did not receive any besides her pointing and saying if it wasn’t on the shelf that they didn’t have it. I suppose I was far less important than her phone and a relaxing seat on the counter. I decided it would be in my best interest to leave so I walked across the parking lot to Walmart where even though they didn’t have the shoes I wanted the employee at Walmart was very polite and actually helped me find a pair.
