I placed a order on 8/31 that was for $49.37 order was confirmed and ready for pick up on 9/1. On 9/2 they charged my bank AGAIN with a $50.79 charge. I have had so many customer services representatives to refuse to help me and advised that they will open cases. I DO NOT Want a case open I want my money back as they took my daughter’s birthday money. I will NEVER shop here again, and I want my money back immediately!!! I would rather pay full price than to have to deal with them again!

The biggest mistake I made at Shoe Carnival in Beaumont TX on Dowlen Road? I would have to say my biggest mistake was thinking that it was going to be a good experience. I was so excited when I first got the job. I started in November 2018 for the holiday season, even getting employee of the month for the month of December. I would show up for work and was the hardest working employee, except for one of my managers whose name is Dorothy. While everyone else would just stand up front, always making sure to stand in the security cameras blind spot so they could be on their phones, I was trying to shine by my phenomenal customer service and finishing whatever job was asked of me the right way. While everyone else was half a** wallpapering and shoving their responsibilities onto the next guy, I was always the one it was being shoved to. Everyone, especially the managers, loved closing with me because they knew I was going to pick up everyone else’s slack. And I did. I can’t tell you how many times I would hear people rejoice. “Yay, Lissa’s here, I love closing with Lissa”. Lol, no doubt. Once they made Trudy Johnson the supervisor of our store and moved Brianna in from the Houston location it all went to sh*t. Brianna was to busy jumping from employee to employee, joining in on whatever sh*t talking they were doing for the day to display good team leadership. Horribly unprofessional if you ask me. Trudy always placed herself in the store where she didn’t have to deal with anything except for wallpapering. The whole time speeding around the store clicking her jaws around like she was on drugs. She had even made the comment to me after we both witnessed a customer clearly on drugs that she can at least keep it low key. Dorothy was the only one of management that busted her a** and went out of her way to be kind. All the sh*t work was dumped on her as well. Her and I were the only ones actually doing our job, with the exception of Kathleen and Amy. To make the whole thing worse, they hired Kristen McCoy. Or Shelby McCoy. Not sure because she went by both names on and off of work. My first experience with Kristen is while she was checking out two customers she went on to tell me she just got out of rehab and if I knew where to find any pills. Again, extremely unprofessional. Kristen wanted the position Amy was already training for. Kristen first approached me, bad mouthing Amy. All I could say was.that I liked Amy and didn’t have a problem with her. Then I watch as she does the same thing to Trudy and Brianna, bad mouthing Amy and they ate it up. Soon after Amy was fired. They were looking for a reason. Then, out of the blue, I’m noticing that I’m starting to be singled out, to be pushed out. I assumed it was because Brianna overheard me telling Dorothy that I thought it was unprofessional that her and Kristen were talking shit on Amy in front of Amy on the sly. You know, talking sh*t without directly saying it to her face. So I assumed that’s why they were hating. But I never understood why Trudy was a part of it. I was a damn good and hardworking employee. I was late by a minute or two here or there but my performance outweighed any of that by a long shot. At the end of it all, they ended up terminating me over “me putting a sticker on the wrong side of the box” a couple times. It’s now July 2019. I worked for Shoe Carnival a total of almost 8 months. I enjoyed working for the company, but not for who I had to work under. It’s a shame because Dorothy would have made an awesome Supervisor. It’s a shame however because she is now telling me that they are starting to do the same to her. Pushing her on out. And I am not some disgruntled employee. Ask any of the above people and they would have to agree and backup everything I just said. Thanks for hearing me out.

I worked at the Distribution Center in Evansville, Indiana for three years that facilities management on a ongoing basis lies to their employees to suit their needs. They also maintain a double standard rule’s and only apply rules to certain employees and overlook other employees conduct and brush it under the rug. Their fork truck drivers are not as safe as they are supposed to be and when they have accidents they don’t doXXXXent it so if OSHA would investigate they won’t discover any incidents so they can keep there safety record high with no accidents. There turn over rate is out of this world due to all of the double standards. The shift leads does a terrible job of training new employees or supervising employees to make sure they do their jobs correctly and fails to train new employees on safety devices located on the induction lines in the event of an emergency.

Bought me a pair of shoes and the lady didn’t give me a receipt, thought I would like them. Changed my mind a hour later went to return them and the store manager told me I can’t because I didn’t have a receipt and I told the lady I never got one and she said well we have to give you one or we put it in the box which she never did. And I told her I never got one nor did she put it in the shoe box so she told well I can’t return them with out a receipt so now I’m out 55 dollars because she forgot to give me a receipt. She remembers me coming and buying them, Worst service I have gotten and will not go back.

Came to the store located at 13244 Northwest Fwy, Houston, TX 77040 unfortunately I was very desapointed in the way the supervisor managed a situation! A situation that should of been aporched first to me instead of the supervisor yelling at my child like if it was hers! I Completely understand that kids should not be running around the store! But even I jerked when she yelled at them. I was literally next to them because we where leaving the store. So there was no need for her to yell the way she did ! Must of been because they got in her way while she was trying to run her self outside so she could take that smoke break which by the way looks so unprofessional right next to the entrance!!

My name is Kyle and I don’t know who to vent to about the horrible experience me my wife and 2 children encountered today at the Helena, Montana store. But my wife went in the store to wait for me and our children to park and overheard Tami (who is a manager) and 2 other employees making deragotory comments about native Americans who were previous customers being disgusting people. This conversation went on and when they noticed my wife could overhear them one commented “they didn’t care” and walked away.
When I came in my wife was very upset as I am an enrolled native American and told me about it. I asked to speak to a manager and Tami was actually the manager on duty which surprised me as she was the one in middle of this unprofessional conversation taking place at the front of the store. When I asked about what that conversation was supposed to about she denied any racist comments which in turn my wife my wife corrected her about what was actually overheard. She continued to make excuses and say she must not of heard what was said as she was in middle of talking about something else at the time. We left without continuing our shopping as we felt this environment wasn’t one we would like to be exposed to.
I would like to see some type of action take place as this was something that is unnecessary and unprofessional in the workplace. I am now really uncomfortable with shopping this store, if management won’t respect their customers no matter what they look like than neither will any other employee who works their.
Please respond or send me contact info on where I can voice my concern as this type of person needs further training or doesn’t belong working in the public eye.

Sunday August 27th, 2017 at approximately 3:00pm I felt very disrespected and racially discriminated. there was a bogo sale going on at the time so there were a lot of people in the store. my daughter who is a one year had a very mini Doc Mcstuffin backpack on which held one diaper and wipes in the bag. we began walking around the store looking for the infant shoes and a staff member approached us asking if I needed any help. I told her yeah that would be helpful. so she told me they were right behind me on the back wall and asked if there were something in particular that I was looking for and I said, “white Nike tennis shoes in a 6c.” she then showed me some white Nikes but they only had a 7c so I asked if they had white converses. She then took me over there and showed me them. by this timeI didn’t need anymore help and it seem like she knew I was getting ready to tell her thanks but I didn’t need anymore help so she asked me did I need any boots and I said, she if you got any timberlands, I would like to see them.” so she showed me some off brand Timberlands and stepped away for a second. I thought that was my chance to get away from her because she was starting to seem a little pushy and creepy. She ended up finding me again while I was helping my daughter try on all the shoes. My husband walked up by that time and she ended up disappearing but then the manager walks up and said, ” the other associate got busy so I’m taking over for her.” I was thinking in my head tha I didn’t need a bodyguard but I blew it off and told her, ” thanks but I don’t need any more help you guys helped me enough and I appreciate it.” she began to stand there with this blank look on her face as if she was trying to think of a reason to stay. she then asked me to hand her the shoes so that she could take them up front but I told her no thank you because I need to have my daughter try the rest on and that we haven’t decided on which shoes we were buying. so she said,’ ok and walked away.” Next I heard her on the walkie talkie radios, telling everyone to turn their radio channel to #4 so that the customers could hear them talking. I use to work at Harley Davidson as a security officer and I know what that means. Now my husband worked in the show industry for years( kids foot Locker) so he knows what the associates look for when targeting people in the store. He told me its probably our daughters bookbag. That maybe they were assuming that we were going to stuff her shoes in it. I said, ‘oh no wonder she was acting weird.” so by then, I started paying close attention to the associates and I noticed that the one that was originally helping us was right behind us everytime I turned around. And when I did turn around she would pretend to fix the shoes. I finally told my husband to lets go because I was upset. He was tired and didn’t ant to go to another store so he said he was going to buy the ones we had. we went to the register and the one that was following us came behind the cashier pretending to move boxes, the manger came back up to the front as well. Since she was up there I decide to ask her for a discount because we had to buy the display shoes since they didn’t have my daughters shoes in her size expect for the display ones. The manager told us no she couldn’t give us a discount but she could clean them. We told her that you wont be able to clean the inside of the shoes. she then grabbed them to try and came back minutes late saying she tried her best and stated that she could give us a discount but couldn’t give us the bogo sale if we got the discount. The manager and my husband went back and forth for a little bit since he understood the shoe business and finally she gave us $5 off with the bogo sale. the experience was horrible. I really felt disrespected, discriminated, hurt, and shocked. I work hard for everything I have. I have a great job and don’t need to steal. there were several people in the store but we were the only African American couple in there at that time. ( I looked) I heard that store in Greenwood, Indiana was horrible for racially discriminating people but I am the type of person to give everyone a chance. I will never shop at Shoe Carnival again when there are staff like that working there.

I placed an order on thursday w/ Shoe Carnival customer service person around 10am and I payers for express delivers which was an extra $22.00. The shoes was suppose to be delivered on sometime Saturday. So, I called my son Saturday night to see if the shoes wrere delivered & he said no!!!!! So, I called the customer service number right away to see what the problem was. The customer service person tells me that somehow they forgfot to ship them!?!?!?! How in the HELL do you forget to ship the item; especially when I paid an extra $22.00 for EXPRESS delivery!!!!!!! So, he apologizes for the packaged not being shipped and refunded my $22.00 that I paid for express delivery. He also told me that my package would bee delivered Sunday afternoon. Well, he lied and their was no package on my son’s door step Sunday!! I DESPICE LIARS!!!!!! So, again I call customer service and spoke to a manager called Missy. Now, she assures me that the item will be delivered no later than Tuesday. I have to go thru this much trouble for a freaking pair of shoes!!!!!I asked Missy the manager for corporates number and of course see insists on telling me that she does not have that information!?!?! First, of all you call yourself a manager and you don’t know corporates number!!!!! What the HELL?!?! He was wonderful. We were so suprised with the excellent service, we will go there to buy all of our shoes for everyone in our family. It is rare to get that type of service. Thank you Judd and I we will definitly be back!!!

I ordered a pair of shoes online to be picked up at the Ankeny,Iowa store. It was to take 4-7 days and I would be getting an email when they were ready to be picked up. After about 5-6 days I called the store and was told they were in. I was busy the next two days, so I went 3 days later to get the shoes. The girl brought me the shoes and when I go to reach for them, she tells me I have to wait because they might be expired. When I asked what she was talking about she said, “Expiration of when they can be picked up.” I had to wait until she checks the computer and thank God they hadn’t expired yet. I asked her what would happen if they had expired, and she told me they would keep the shoes and I would have to wait until the company issued me a refund! What kind of customer service is that? I had already paid for the shoes and they were right there in front of me. What would be the benefit of that? I would be out of a pair of shoes, have to wait to get my money back and the company would lose a sale! Unbelievable!
and I would have to wait until the company issues me a refund!!

Placed a call to customer service line today and Customer Service rep, Shiele, was unable
to answer my questions regarding one item in my order, he stated he was emailing another department to get status but told me he could not disclose the name of the department he was sending the email to. I asked for a Corporate number for Shoe Carnival and was told that he was unable to disclose that either. So, I Googled it and left a message for Erin this am
for a callback. Hope to get a response to a simple request for the status for one item on my order. Not a happy customer, used a rewards certificate and back to school code for this order.

This was the WORST customer service experience ever. ON top of an extra charge of $120 been charged to my card from a online order the customer service representative didn’t know what she was talking about to the point that I asked to speak to the supervisor she still wasn’t making since not only did she have me to email the text alert for the extra charge(because she couldn’t figure out either why) but when I asked the name of the representative that I spoke to first she refused to tell me saying to protect her representative she isn’t allowed but how am I not allowed to know who has dealt with my name and credit card info and the horrible service i received. She was then made aware that I was calling corporate. Which I wasn’t at first unless my money wasn’t put back on my card. I will never shop with Shoe Carnival again and I will tell everyone i know. I’m a mad, unhappy ex customer unless they do something fast.

I have never been so embarrassed and uncomfortable in my life! My daughter and I walked into the Shoe Carnival location in Mishawaka, Indiana only to be followed and harassed the entire time of our visit. There were three different employees, THREE, that followed and stalked us throughout the store. I mean literally every aisle we turned, every corner we turned there they were. Not only was I embarrassed but I was unable to focus and feel comfortable enough to even shop. To add insult to injure, one of the employees that was following me, followed me up to the counter as I was checking out to make sure there were not any stolen items in my bag. This is very unfortunate because I enjoy spending money at this establishment but never again will I enter the Shoe Carnival located in Mishawaka, Indiana.

Last month my daughter and I purchased a pair of Unlisted wedge sandals for Easter. They are her absolute favorite dress shoes that she uses for church and other special occasions. So only wears them for about an hour at a time. The fourth and most recent time she wore them we noticed one shoe completely pulling away from the wedge making them unwearable. It is very frustrating and unacceptable given the amount we paid and the time we’ve had them. I would like some type of compensation.

I went to the shoe carnival here in the Asheville, nc area for a new pair of sneakers on feb. 9th 2017. Finally found a nike shoe I liked and found that all I could try on was the right shoe cause the left was not in the box. I asked a sales person I he could get me the left to try on so as to make sure both felt good. He said I would have to pay for them first and then I could try the other one on. That is totally unacceptable and I just worked out. Their loss as I was about to buy a $90 dollar pair if they fit and felt good. And may have purchased a second pair had they worked with me as they should have. I Will be letting all my friends and others know of my experience today. I have bought shoes at this store for many years and will never go back.

I just received my $10 perks coupon and shoe carnival had the BOGO half off as I was checking out the cashier could not get my perks coupon to go thru she called her General Manager Kristine to help her out after she scanned my perks coupon for about the 10th time the manager then says your coupon has been used I told her after scanning it so many times I’m sure it did, I just received my coupon on 2/2/17 this is the first time I’m redeeming my coupon, the General Manager then says she’ll have to call it in I told her call it in I just received it and I have not used it yet, (as I look behind me there a huge line forming with only one cashier to ring up) the manager says she’ll just take $10 off my purchase and I can call it in myself. The manager walks away as the cashier is trying to ask her how to complete the transaction the manager ignored her and I then stated to the cashier your manager is very rude, the cashier stated the manager is just having a bad day I told her that’s not your problem or mine and as a General Manager she needs to leave that at home and not take it out on the customers or the employees rude General Manager Kristine u need sensitive classes and if you are not a people person you should not be working with the public!!!!!!

If she isn’t getting paid enough she should be smart enough to find a better job! Never in my life have I had a cashier to ask for a tip! First of all that s stupid asking a customer for the rest of thier money as a tip! And two that is a shoe store not a freaking restaurant!!
