I live in Yucca Valley, CA. I ordered 1 dresser and a cabinet from your linear collection. I also ordered a crystal table lamp. All three items arrived damaged. The replacement lamp was okay. The linear dresser replacement was okay as well. The linear cabinet replacement arrived damaged with splitting wood and the doors installed where to smell for the openings. I decided to keep the previous cabinet due to a project deadline for my home. I will adjust the doors myself and cover the scratches. There seems to not be any quality controls or inspections before shipping items. No more Room & Board for this house.

Dear Mr. John Gabbert
I have ordered this office chair #364774 and it was supposed to arrive Tuesday 6/30. As of today 7/2/2020 9:24 pm it has not arrived. So I will cancel the order or if you can have it arrive next week on time, letting me know when it will arrive. I have purchased at least $10,000 worth of furniture from your company and yet this service has not met my expectations. I am very disappointed as to the process of promising delivery but not following through with your standards. Please advise as to what your company intends to resolve this issue.

It seems that no one was following up on requests for Delivery date and time. Had spoked
to staff 5 or 6 times and then was reassured by distribution center of delivery.
This did not happen. Affects my business and quite a few clients will observe R&B work during this fiasco. I thought I was dealing with a quality company but this is not quality
service or follow through.
What is the problem at R&B?

I live in San Diego and was so pleased when Room and Board opened a store here. I used to drive to Orange County in the past to shop and made several purchases I am very happy with.
I attended the opening day in San Diego and ordered a dining table and four chairs which I received and love. However, on Sept. 26, I ordered the Otis swivel chair in PeaXXXX blue and received a delivery date of November 28 — a long wait but okay. Yesterday, I was given a revised delivery date of December 22 — an additional month later.
It should not take three months to receive an order for which my credit card has been charged and I have already paid. I always recommend R&B to my friends but am extremely disappointed in this purchase and will not be so quick to recommend you in the future.
