I looked for the print check fee online and was shocked to find it has been increased to $20.00 and the number of checks has been reduced from 30 per booklet to 20. That equates to $.25 per printed check!!! THAT IS OUTRAGEOUS. To add insult to injury, there was no check register in the package so how am I supposed to keep track of the checks I write. I can’t be the only customer you have who does not want to bank through electronic transactions. You obviously do not care about customer service at all!!! Reading the other examples of poor service just might motivate me to move my banking business entirely. I have been with Regions or a predecessor bought by Regions since 1982. That is a lot of loyalty but there are many banks in Hot Springs which are almost as convenient as the Regions branch at which I do my business. I haven’t forgotten that Regions accepted bail out money in 2008 and even with tax payer assistance you have continued to increase fees for everything and push credit cards, etc. How about cutting fat cat salaries at the top and being more reasonable with your depositors.

I’m sorry I have to use your profile I try to add a comment myself. Why is the CEO not doing his job? I have seen not the brightest bus Bank but this one wow that’s all I can say. You have zero problems taking the money yeah you put it on hold for a minute. You must have verified it because you did have no problem putting it in my account this morning. But since I butt hurt you and didn’t play by your little world you withdrawed it back as you made multiple threats how you’re going to return it to sender close my account get me for fraudulent activity but yet the money is still there. The man has tried to work with your bank multiple times as you refuse couldn’t even pick up the phone call right away to verify that’s what he was waiting for but not you guys doing your legit job that would have been too impossible. But thank you I was able to prove my point about your banking system to each and everyone of his friends who was thinking really about become customers. I could have made you money could I not worth it I’d rather them go to Wells Fargo better reputation Capital One better reputation Bank of America better reputation and I can go on maybe a credit union because of who they are that would be a better choice. See what these Banks they don’t stick their nose and your business at all and they won’t. How people get their monry? Is none of your business as long as they’re not breaking the law and if they do alert the authorities that’s what they’re there for oh yeah that would be another too much work. like I said I understand you holding the money get it got it understand but you had zero problem dropping it into my account this morning
But since I won’t play with your little bitty games you give to the butt hurt I pulled all the account make your little threats said that you returned it which is a lie. Still showing up in my account that I still can get into it says the money is being transferred and available tonight so which line do I believe is my account legit close cuz if it was I wouldn’t be getting in it and trust me I know this Bank very well we’ve argued about this behavior multiple times I’m trying to walk away you still beg me to stay. So who’s lying to who and why did you appear that money on my account cuz obviously you found out it was legit and to put it in my account and pull it out ladies and gentlemen are you seeing. Without me legit putting it out there so I don’t legit have to play a little bitty games I just don’t want to see this happening to anybody else it seems like they really get jealous if you get a big tuck in your account for whatever reason and they’ll make multiple excuses and no believe me they will because they are so judgmental about how you receive anything containing to you I guess we’re not allowed to have family or friends not with this bank at least. I just wanted to get out there about how I’m being treated generally I don’t play with little people like this but I will not have them do this to another innocent customer God bless to all of you sorry for all the cursing and the rage

I’m having issues with my local branch of Regions Bank. It started when I went a month ago to the Notary (Yes they have a Notary at this branch), I needed some documents notarized, she refused to do it, so I then went to the bank where I have my car loan, and they did it with no questions asked. No huge deal….just a lot of additional running and more stress.
Then I attempt to deposit $18,600.00 on 11/07/2019. I was advised it would then be broken into three different deposit(s). $200.00 the next day, $ 4,800.00 two days later, and the balance of $13,600.00 on the 18th of the month. It is the 18th and NO deposit. How long do they intend to have a “Funds Hold” on this money?.
When I submitted a (Contact email), I just got the usual Funds Hold is allowable for 11 days, and that not all branches have a Notary on Duty, after I had just typed in my email that I was turned away by the Notary at my branch and she refused to notarize my documents.
I have been with Regions over a year now, No NSF’s, No bad debts due, no returned or bad checks ever written, monthly checking fees drawn out and ALWAYS covered, and balance always on hand. I don’t understand this drawn out Funds Hold, I know it is to protect both the Bank and myself, but after 11 days, and the check was from a huge well known company.
I’ve always been a BIG fan and supporter of my local Regions Bank, but not so much anymore, sad to say.
It’s just so stressful!

I have a check I deposited in my checking account for $69,950 from a Canadian bank, the teller did not follow policy and put a hold on this foreign check, they were supposed to have me fill out a form on depositing foreign checks and they were supposed to put a hold of 4 to 6 weeks on it,i also did a wire transfer of $18,540 from my account to a chase account which they were not supposed to do also, the bank admitted they had made a mistake,so now they are returning that check of $69,540 but they have already paid the $18,540 so now my account is negative $11,000 and are not crediting back the money I had in there to begin with before the deposit of the $69,950, since they did not follow policy I would expect the bank credit me my money that was already in there as it was there mistake for not putting a hold on it and as I was depositing this check in good faith as it to be good,i would like this corrected asap as I have been a customer for over 10 years and have never had a problem,if your branch manager followed the policy I would not have a negative $11,000 balance and if the check did not clear than we would not have this problem if your people followed there policy they have admitted they made a mistake im asking that my money that was in my checking account before the deposit of that check and that wire transfer be put back in my account
Thank You

I have all legal documentation necessary to close the Regions accounts of my deceased Mother, yet Regions demands I visit a branch to close the accounts. The nearest Regions Branch to me is 1,500 miles away.
Other banks were pleased to receive my letter of administration and other documents, then close her accounts and mail funds to me. The “branch manager” was rude, and would do nothing but repeat “policy” as I tried to explain my inability to visit a branch.

Regions just charged my wife’s account $36 for a tiny overdraft, under $5. I complained about it and “Charley” essentially told me to take my business elsewhere. So, I will.

Went into Regions bank to cash a check from my father. They informed me there is a 20$ charge to cash a check because I am not a member? Are you JOKING me? This is a Regions check from my fathers account. Its not a joke. Regions is a JOKE! I walked out of this bank for the last time with my check and just deposited it in my account at my bank. I am going to convince my father to switch banks and he will listen to me. Regions can Kiss a 200 grand goodbye! I recommend their CEO’s start reading their wonderful reviews!

Regions Bank is practicing discrimination and doesn’t even care to resolve this egregious behavior. We have reported the issue to many people — customer service support and supervisors (by phone), local branch(es) personal bankers and even the local bank managers in person!
Ronrica Close says
I totally agree I had the same issue I wonder if anything will ever be done I see this bank shutting down soon.

Being a Regions customer for years this is my absolute very first time having to experience the lack of knowledge about my funds from the Support team. My account was closed without my knowledge. They lied to me about my deposits that came to the account after it was closed. I went into a branch location and spoke with a branch manager and the Support team couldn’t give her any information about my funds. I have been getting the run around about my money since February 12, 2019. I filed a complaint and I have yet to receive my funds. I would not recommend this bank to anyone.
Ronrica Close says
It seems everyone is dealing with the same issue with this bank. And the branches act like they have no information. Also tell me why they get your cash but can’t give you cash when they close your account? this bank should be called inconveniences not Regions.

I’m not sure if I was clear on the kind of help we are needing, so I hope I can add to what I have previously said. We had a hard time getting back on track with money and paying our bills after the charges prior to the current charges we are getting. All I’m asking is for some kind of credit for NSF charges, so we can get our account out of the red. If you can possibly do this, it would help us get our finances straight again, because prior to these current problems, our account has never been in the red. We would really appreciate any help you can give us. Thank you
D. Boyington says
I have made some errors in my checking account in past few months and have been charged 100’s of dollars in NSF fees. Due to life situations, I haven’t been on top of keeping track of the checking account. I admit I made the mistakes, my complaint is, my husband and I visited the local Regions a couple months ago to see if there was anyway to remove some of the NSF fees, so that we could get back on our feet and continue banking with Regions. The gentleman that helped us, was nice, but showed no concern over our situation, he took our information to the manager, then returned saying there was nothing they could do for us because they had remove a couple charges prior to this. Now, my husband has banked at Regions for more than 15 years and I have banked there for over 10 years and in that time, we never had a problem with NSF fees, of course, at that time we were both working and making very good money. In the past five years we have both been laid off from a big company and not making half the money we were making at our previous job. We had both worked at our previous jobs for over 10 years and now it is hard to start all over, money has been very tight. I’ve always been treated well when I went to the local Regions office, it use to feel like the hometown bank but lately, I’m not getting that feeling at all. When my husband and I left the bank that day, I was in tears and felt like a dog leaving with my tail between my legs. I felt insulted and I felt as if the bank didn’t care and must not need me as a customer. I personally have worked in customer service for 30 years and I was very good at customer satisfaction, in fact, the company sent us to training, on how to keep a customer. I don’t want to be rude, I don’t want to change banks, I just want my bank to help me out so I can continue banking with them and gain the trust I once had. Thank you

Today I went to Regions Bank in Montgomery, Alabama,( Eastbrook location), to pay Regions bills. After waiting 15 minutes because there were only 2 lines open, I finally got to go to a girl and started to pay my 2 payments. I gave the girl my personal check that was made out to Regions but was from a different bank. The lady said I had to give her my social security number before I could make the payment since the check was from a different bank. I asked why since we all have been warned about giving out our numbers. She said if I wanted to make the payment I had to give it to her and I did. She wanted it again and I said wasn’t giving her my damn social security number again. Anyone around could have heard me and then they would have had my number. I wasn’t asked for any other ID, just the social security number. I told her the other payment I was going to make was from my Regions checking account and she could see whatever info she was wanting from this check and she could have pulled up what info she wanted from my to billing stubs. I guess because I said damn she wouldn’t let me do any transaction and she told me to leave. This girl was not the branch manager because I know who the Manager is (Bonnie), and she is a fine lady. I have been a customer of Regions and I have used this branch for years and have never been treated the way I was treated today. Everyone else at this branch have always been
very nice. I did call Regions in Birmingham and Memphis this afternoon and filed a complaint on this girl. I have always payed my bills this same way at this branch and never had a problem. I don’t know if Regions will address this complaint but I will see if what she did was harassing, if it was I may seek legal action.
I just noticed that ratings for Regions is very low, bet you don’t have to ask yourselves why.

I am submitting a complaint about your business ethics when dealing with a big depositor like my husband. Will Easterling phoned and told him he would like to have lunch with him and made no mention no mention of a wife included. ( Charles said he was having lunch with his son’s college friend.) Since I was uninvited, I went to a restaurant and there sat my husband with a woman side by side on a couch type bench and two men facing them. I learned that the female was Teresa (hard to read notary signature for last name and the medallion stamp showed another last name of Rogers). She was said to be an employee of your Hardy Street Hattiesburg, Ms. bank investment dept. and the business office was less than 5 minutes from the restaurant?? I took pictures so I would have proof of the secret meeting which lasted 3 hours. The female put herself in a position questionable, having a long lunch date with 3 married men when if business the office was almost next door and the wife was uninvited. Mr. Easterling did not use good judgment by setting up the heavy lunch date excluding the wife.
My experience I have witnessed with large co-operations show me they have had different ethics and the great IBM even had an IBM wives club and only threw social get-togethers that wives and even children were always invited to thus holding marriages and
families together and preventing affairs or familiarity beyond business by co-workers.
I am aware of tactics such as this to entice big naïve new money-depositors, but this is a bit out of line for long lunch hours with females which more appropriately would include the wife or be held in the business office so nearby. I would admire your bank more if lunch were shared with small depositors or one struggling to repay high interest rate loans. In this world of so many morale issues, the family needs protecting and such as setting up personal male and female social activities for more than business issues allowing for intimacy to develop is out of line. However, I am aware you think this is your way of manipulating business endeavors. I have discussed this with many others who view such practice as inappropriate. Business and pleasure never comes to a good ending eventually. Two hours to notarize a paper is not necessary nor is a long social lunch if business is business. I feel this will not be taken seriously, but you have a chance to correct your employees from using such tactics for business and feel you are exempt from staying above reproach.
Respectfully submitted,
Mrs. Charles Nobles (Dr. Bonnie)

this reply is addressed to Mrs. Charles Nobles. M’am, fyi, I was best friends with a lower officer with Regions for years – over 20 yrs. IF you think only having lunch in a questionable position is news, please reach out to me. The stories he told me make Epstein look like a choir boy. The orgy parties. He could bed down any branch manager or someone at corporate he wanted, anytime, anywhere. Long before I knew this was going on, he borrowed money from me. A lot of money. Under the pretenses of needing to pay his child support. He died never repaying those monies. The officers at Regions blocked the probate proceedings for me to collect the monies he owed me. I think after reading these comments I will file an SEC ethics complaint based on my experience with this bank (current – just happened) and my past knowledge of their very accepted sexual harassment and predators by the officers on the underlings…. Since I know everything, this can and will probably hurt their stock. I hope so, just as they have hurt our pocketbooks and caused stress. Time for the shoe to be on the other foot.

I am so glad that I read these complaints. I have been contemplating getting my money out and going to another bank. NOW I AM DEFINITELY CUTTING TIES!!! I have not been able to get any assistance with Regions in stopping an automatic withdrawal from my mother’s checking account. She is 89 years old with dementia and have sold her house because she could no longer live alone. She has relocated here to Georgia but some crook from Moni Monitoring Service (now Brinks) came in her neighborhood selling home security devices. Because of my mother’s state of mind, she signed up even though she was relocating to Georgia. We have sold her home and no longer want these fees being withdrawn from her checking account. Regions will not provide any assistance on how to stop this withdrawal even though it is my mother’s money!! We are changing banks ASAP

They don’t care, because they are too busy spending your money on their mistresses. I can name names. I have been to some of their homes back in the day. Some of these people are dead now unfortunately.

My mother had a checking account with Regions Bank in Gallatin, Tn. She was the primary account holder and I was principal owner upon death. She had been suffering from Parkinson’s disease for the past 8 years and bed ridden the past year. She received a letter from Regions in January that she had a few weeks to respond that her account has been dormant the past year with no transactions. If she did not respond they were turning her money over to the state. She called Regions on the phone on 1/22/18. In which Regions was rolling her account over to a savings account upon the return of the necessary signed doXXXXentation. My mother passed away on 1/25/18 before she even received the doXXXXentations to sign and have me as primary owner upon death. Regions had changed the account regardless without the proper signed doXXXXentation. Just a phone call. I went to the Gallatin and LaVergne branches to attempt to collect my mother’s money. Neither branch wanted to talk to me or give me any other information other than I should get a lawyer and go through probate. I have checked with many other financial institutions regarding the changing of the account without signed doXXXXentation and none have ever heard of processing a change without signed doXXXXentation. I feel this was unethical and should be illegal to do so. Why should I have to pay for a lawyer and the hassle of a probate hearing to obtain what is legally mine?
William Gerber says
It appears Regions is not concerned in keeping long time customers. The branch mgr. said she would look into a problem, but never got back to me, leaving me to fend for myself.. The attitude has changed & the customer is just a number, much like some of the other big banks. I plan to go back to the credit union where my business is appreciated.

This bank is racist !!! the Vice president Wallace is a coward and loser. They will close your account ifd the employee you are a member of the NRA. The biggest problem is the rude employees that barely make 20k a year. lol, weak managers and crooks…..google fraud at regions bank! its incredible about the amount of fraud that is committed within the branches.

Yes they are racists too. I often heard the officer I knew use the “N” word and describe other than good ole white boys names I can’t repeat. I really really didnt want to do business with this bank but they were about the only national bank to where I moved. I suppose I’ll just keep driving to do deposits with my old bank. At least I won’t be feathering the nest of a bunch of sex addicts, having orgys on my dime. They only hire to make it look good. He used to say so. And because he wouldn’t or couldn’t bed “those” down. Or so I was told.

I never thought that I would be sending an e-mail complaining about Regions Bank. My wife and I have been Regions customers for quite some time. HOWEVER, we have noticed that, (especially at the main bank in Dothan, AL. and a few branches), the tellers have become very non-customer oriented and treat you like they did not want you in the bank at all. It seems that it has become worse lately. Is it the quality of employees hired? On 2/26/18, I went into the main bank just to make a deposit to one of my accounts. No one was standing in line except me and there were three tellers noticeable. One was on the phone and the other two were shuffling paperwork. I stood a decent period of time waiting to be served and was not noticed until finally an overweight teller yelled at me from behind her barrier, “Can I help you?” I answered, “Of course, you can.” What would I be doing in a teller line at the main bank if I did not need some help? The whole time she interacted with me, she seemed hateful and sarcastic and stated, “I was busy.” How can a teller be TOO BUSY to serve a customer; especially when there are two other tellers available? I also noticed the same attitude at a few of the other branches. Is it really too much trouble for the tellers to just greet a customer nicely and complete the transaction without unnecessary “busy” delays or sarcasm to long-time customers? I have really considered changing both of my accounts to another bank. It seems to be getting worse than better. The Regions CEO or Managers need to really emphasize customer relations to their employees. It is really getting bad. If it keeps up, I plan to take my money and business elsewhere. I am 84 years old and retired military. My Regions employee experience today ruined my day and I do not plan to go back to the Main Regions bank in Dothan, AL. anytime soon. I shall choose a bank branch that is more customer oriented. PLEASE GET THE WORD OUT TO THE EMPLOYEES.

I might ADD: The hood to my parka was not ON/UP, as my hair was nicely styled in a ponytail and, as I said, I was enjoying the sunshine of the day. No way, my appearance and/or demeanor did I look like a criminal gang member. Again, the security guard was inappropriate and, as well as Chris. I ran into a very good professional friend while at the second bank, shared with him, as to what happened to me just moments ago, and he said, jokingly, yeah Linda, you look like a BIG BAD GANG member. He was appalled and also said, I needed to contact corporate office of Regions. He will never do bank at Regions after what I just shared with him at the bank I opened an account and deposited large sums of money and obtained a credit card due to my exemplary credit. Hmmm, yeah, that sounds like a gang member. Regions, another bad review!!

Today in Texas, it was a beautiful gorgeous Sunny day. I proceed to Regions on 11st Street, Heights, TX to open an account (in the area, as I have banked downtown for many decades and wanted a bank in the Heights to make deposits without driving downtown) to make considerable deposits, so I do not have to drive downtown to make such deposits.
I was off today, running errands, headed to gym later, generally, TCB in the area. Beautiful Day until I entered Regions lobby and was verbally harassed by a older man in a security uniform demanding, …’take your sunglasses off! Read the outside sign on the door!!’. I barely entered the entrance area, and he is in my space/face making this demand. He immediately commanded me to sit in a chair and someone would be with later, when they got through with ‘customers’! I am stunned, sit for a few minutes, listened to all the loud noise coming from each of the glassed-in customer service portals with doors wide open and decided to leave, thinking, what did I walk into and I need to leave. There was one man alone in an opened door on the phone and he finished his call and motioned me into the doorway and asked, what do you ‘want’? Again, no professional demeanor at all and totally rude. I looked at him and told him, it does not matter, I have been insulted by your ‘security guard’ and I am leaving. He asked me why I was here, asked me my name, and I said, well, I was going to open an account and deposit two very large checks, and weekly checks thereafter, but, I have never been so insulted in my life, I do not want to do business with this bank. I asked him his name, he said, “Chris’ was his name (his name tag said ‘Chrisopher’. He wanted more information and I said, I don’t think it is necessary. He proceeded to tell me that …”there were ‘gangs’ in the neighborhood that wear sunglasses and hoodies and holding up banks in the area…” So, I said, this older security has racial profiled me, a 5’3′, 115 lb, middle-aged very nicely groomed woman, and he is treating me like a gang member that wears sunglasses and a hoodie, and treated me as if I were a thief?” He smurked and said, ‘where are you from and how long have you been here’. I said, all my life and for several generations in Houston, if that means anything. He proceeded to tell me that he was NOT from Houston and he did not really care if the security guard told me to take off my glasses, and I was wearing a hoodie and I should obey and sit. I said, this is an expensive woman’s parka with an attached fleece hood and not a gang hoodie’. Told ‘Chris’, first the security guard racially profiled me and then, Chris did, and he did not care if security racially profiled because I had expensive sunglasses and he did not care if the ‘hoodie’ was expensive. I told ‘Chris’, you have just lost a very large financial account and I will never come to any Region again. I wonder if I had worn my Vera Wang dress and pumps, both buffoons would have racially profiled me? I wished I had gone online and read the reviews prior to coming to Regions. I drove down the street to another bank, opened an account, made several large check deposits, they offered me a credit card with cash back benefits, ALL within less than 30 minutes after being providing information as to my exemplary credit rating, etc. and NEVER once was I asked to remove my sunglasses (until I chose to do so, in order to read the doXXXXentation provided by the professional/courteous bank customer service, who never racially profiled me and appalled that Regions took such a stance, and she complimented me as to my designer jacket with hood! She was appalled to Regions employees and suggested I contact the Regions’ corporate offices. Regions will NEVER get my business and I have already advised many of my friends in the area of this racial profiling/slur, and they will also never do business with Regions. I also told them to read the Reviews about Regions. Regions is a bad risk, and again, urged all to read prior to going to a Regions bank, after what
I have just gone through today and after reading all the reviews. Regions is deplorable!

My account has been frozen since the day after Christmas for a proof of address. I been up there 4 times and the first time I was told by the lady in the Lancaster branch that m dish bill was perfect. I brought several.. she in fact set right in front of me call the person who will be if and then said she was satisfied. The account then reflected the correct amount and m deposit. Then in the morning it was gone and 119. Overdrawn so my husband goes by the branch after me being on hold and speaking to Customer service which by the way she was great, to being sent to the branch to the same lady who says I’ll call u back and she didn’t. So at 3 my husband goes thier. And he gives her the paper that she asked for and leaves then 15 minutes later she calls me back asking for the other piece to the paper. There is no second page. I am on Grand prairie housing and I don’t have a lease I am going month to month because I have a voucher to move. I gave her a signed paper with my intent to move on it from the housing. So then I say I don’t know what to do I have 3 kids and Uber is my only job and it’s 3 days after Christmas and I’m broke and no gas and y’all have my account messed up. Well she says get me a lease or we will shut down your account. So I asked what about my 60 dollars that is in my account. She will call me back and she did bring a lease or nothing. So I went to the office and begged for the original lease and then they gave me the front page signed it and I rushed to the bank by 4 pm yesterday. She said I’ll send it and get back with you. I am still negtive and nothing fixed can’t work cause I have no gas to make more money and I can’t even buy a 5 dollar pack of diapers cause of this . I have proof from my Uber that the 60 and 21 posted on the 24th before the other things came over out of my account and yet it shows the 27tg and I’m being charged. Please help

I step up to be waited on, I stated good morning, Cashier stated good morning, she finished with my deposit and stated to me have a good day girly! I am a BLACK Woman! YOU do not refer to use as girly that is a racism slur. I call back to the bank and ask to speak to a Branch Manager, only because I just walk out of the bank upset. I was told the branch manager was not in and was there anything he could do, after I explain to him my experience he ask me to call the branch manager back once she come back from vacation ( another insult), then after I insisted on something being done he said he would speak to Amanda the cashier who made the statement. I am posting because I don’t believe he will say anything to her, Business as usual in the old south!

I went to the Regions bank on Water St. in downtown Mobile, Alabama to make a cash deposit. I went to make my deposit first thing that Monday morning around 9:30am just to ensure I caught a check I had just dropped in the mail at 8am. Well, after I made the cash deposit at Regions bank I logged into my account from my phone to verify the deposit like I always do.However, when I logged in, my cash deposit I had just made 15 minutes earlier wasn’t posted to my account. Next, I called the automated system but my account balance still didn’t include my recent deposit. I went straight back to the bank and informed them that I checked my online banking and my cash deposit wasn’t in my account. I was told by the bank teller that their system was down and she didn’t have an estimated turnaround. I asked could they just refund my 340.00 deposit so I could take it to a different location but she said she could not. I was given the number to the manager and told to call. My entire reason for going to the bank first thing that morning was to make sure the money would be available. She could have shown common courtesy by informing me that the system was down and it may take a couple of hours to post. Then I could have had the option of making my deposit at a different location. I am so upset about the lack of customer service at that location.I will never use that Regions branch again.

You people are the biggest CROOKS known to mankind! You don’t care about the customers nor do you want to care. All you do is allow people to steal money out of everyone’s account & deny their claim when they are trying to get their money back. To be honest you idiots should be closed down & not allowed to ever conduct business. One day you guys are going to be hit with the biggest lawsuit where your own bank will have to bankrupt because of all the shady business you people do. One day you guys will feel how you make your customers feel & everyone who is involved with this crooked company will be unemployed. You guys are THE WORSE!!!!

DO NOT open a Corporate account with Regions. They will NOT back you up as a customer even though they spend tens of thousands of dollars every day in new customer acquisition costs.
My partner & I opened and account and made 2 deposits. The third deposit was a Wells Fargo “E-Check” and Wells Fargo did not recognize our company but we had an “Payment Authorization Form” completed and signed by our client authorizing us to debit her WF account. When WF did not pay on that check, Regions flipped out and closed our account after being active less than 30 days). Way to stick up for your clients that you work so hard to acquire Regions!! I would never do ANY future business (Personal nor Business) with Regions. They had their shot and thanks to some Corporate “XXXXX for Brains”, the policy he or she thought up caused Regions to lose a future long term client. The funny thing that Regions did not even know about yet is that my partner & I just secured an Corporate account with one of OUR clients which will result in about $5,000 per week into our new SUNTRUST Account (could have been Regions – too bad so sad)! Suntrust will be very pleased to get a new Customer tomorrow!!

I spoke with Amy Smith with the solutions department at Regions. Initially calling about an overdraft fee that was charged . In speaking with her the customer service rep who had provided me the wrong information never accessed my account so she said and just provided me info from experience. She was unable to pull the call because the rep never obtained my personal info but never put it into the system. Really? This bank isn’t secure and believe that corporate needs to intervene. I will be removing my accounts with this bank and suggest others to do so as well before your identity gets taken and Regions will have no way of finding out.

On 7/6/2017 at approximately 3:30 pm, I deposited 350.00 into regions bank “smart” machine.
It took my money and then asked if I wanted a detailed receipt, I pressed yes, It then asked for my pin over and over and would not give my card.
It released my card but the machine took my money.
I went into the branch where they basically shrugged me off and laughed at the fact that I needed to have my money to pay my storage and renew my extended stay room that I am staying in.
They basically laughed, shrugged me off and said calm down.
To them 350.00 is nothing.
To me, I have to pay bills or get kicked out.
The banker that typed up my dispute said” You should have came into the bank, I mean, the bank is open”
There was a storm coming and I trusted regions bank to deposit my money it so that I would have my money safe. This way I could pay my bills online and would not have to drive all around.
Today, I lose my room because regions took my money and said I have to wait 3 days to get it back.
I am STRESSED, I have not gotten sleep and now I have no money.
This bank only cares about the”rich”
I am truly so stressed and can’t stop crying.
I do not trust regions anymore.
Once they located my money, I am switching. They do not value their customers, only those that they deem Rich

We have been screwed by Regions while applying for a mortgage. A friend, the seller, suggested we go to Regions, their mortgage loan originator and Vice president, (C. D-B.) screwed us around for 11 months while interest rates climbed, and we had to keep updating all our doXXXXentation so many times as she wasn’t doing her job and not getting back to us, this cost us much time and money to no avail. Don’t ever go to Regions for a mortgage or anything else for that matter. The worst experience buying a property I have ever had thanks to them. Our friend and us are and never will deal with Regions again. DON’T EVER DEAL WITH REGIONS BANK.

Hoping to get some help on the email/issue with Regions below or at least a contact that can actually do something. Any help would be appreciated. Extremely frustrating!
I am disputing a fraud charge which you guys denied. It was very clear it was not thoroughly researched. I have requested a copy of the police report, but until it arrives I am out $500 + $200+ in overdraft fees. This also assumes the police report will help further my claim. With this $700+ deficit I have currently struggled to stay on top of my finances. Why would I “steal” $500 from you guys to only make my finances a disaster. This is truly ridiculous. Tonight, I was monitoring my account to make sure I deposited enough money to avoid more overdraft fees, however, somehow my account balance magically changed at midnight with no additional cleared fees. I want to know how this happened? This is not the first occurrence, and I am truly tired of this. In the past, I let the $36 NSD fee go, but I will continue this pursuit until I get a legitimate answer. I put in more money than was pending, but still received an overdraft fee? You guys are not customer oriented and only focused on making a dishonest dollar. Either your online banking is geared towards misguidance to collect surplus fees or it is flawed. No one seems to be able to help or even know what is going on. I have visited the branch numerous times and the story is “Sorry about that, how about a sucker?”
I am looking for assistance in obtaining my stolen $500 and my $200+ stolen by you guys. I realize in writing this, the chance of actually receiving help is very low. I don’t understand how a company could function with these rules, guidelines and misguided online banking. I am tired of Regions Bank and I know there are more suited banks out there who actually treat their customers with some dignity. It is a shame these type of dishonest business relations are allowed to continue. I do think your new company policies and online banking are something that need to be investigated.
I am asking you guys to correct the issue and provide honest means to track my finances. Sure, I could do it the old way and scribble everything down, but the tools you provide are supposed to make it more customer friendly, yes? Why should I not be able to rely on my bank to not fraudulently take my money? Clearly you guys feel the same way, how about passing that onto the customer? I hope to receive a response or help concerning this matter…thank you for your time.

Complain to feds, state says
Regions Bank has repeatedly given me the runaround in my attempts to recover a cash deposit that was not credited to my account back in August 2016. Regions ATM machine reported that it could not process the deposit, did not return the money, and gave a receipt with a number to call to report the problem.
It took a few days to get through to customer service (waiting times can be 25+ minutes). Several days later I received a letter stating my account would be credited and an investigation would be launched. I understand that these errors should normally be resolved within 72 hours.
On October 3 — about 7 weeks after the ATM error — I received a letter from Regions saying that they found no problems with the ATM and would be taking back the money. This caused several checks to bounce and I have been given the runaround for the past 10 days in trying to get this resolved. It’s doubly hard because my job took me to another state, so I can’t personally go to the branch where this happened.
I have been persistent in following up via phone, but each time it seems there is more delay, stalling and buck passing. I also tried to move things along by getting help through corporate headquarters, but get more buck passing and no assistance in getting me my money back (one employee suggested that I file a police report against Regions).
I have the receipt showing there was a machine error, and Regions staff have acknowledged viewing the tape showing the cash deposit being made on the date and time in question (they say they can’t see the amount so don’t want to credit me ???).
The BBB website is full of stories similar to and worse than mine. Just last year Regions paid out a $7.5 million settlement related to complaints about deceptive practices.
I will be reporting Regions to federal (Consumer Financial Protection Bureau), state (department of finance), and local (BBB) consumer protection agencies. I will also be asking federal and local officials to look into Regions’ shoddy consumer banking practices. I urge others who have complaints about Regions banking practices to file with federal and local authorities. File your complaints; there is power in numbers.

Never have I EVER been so disgusted with a corporation in all of my life! The customer service (other than that provided by Dexter) was THE WORST I have ever experienced from being blamed for “not paying attention”, to not “being able to disclose personal information” but being able to steal my money on behalf of someone I am not responsible for. I’m so ashamed of even the corporate contacts- Johnny- for blowing off the complaint o filled with the BBB. Yes- thank you Johnny for the exact same form letter and as hurting me you’ve done no wrong, but can’t disclose private details….. Yet not explaining why you can take my money and then say details are private. Way to keep those numbers up! I get it- Regions got the $735 from me because I am responsible and reliable at paying bills and planning ahead. Planning ahead for a summer camp for my daughter that she cannot attend because Regions collections helped themselves to almost $800 and excuses it with the “customer agreement” that is ever changing to suit what’s best for regions. You took money from me and my children- not my ex husband. It was taken because Regions doesn’t care how they get their money, so long as they get it! It’s shameful, immoral and illegal. That was my account as deemed in a court of law and I’m DISGUSTED that over $735 the ugly true colors of Regions came through pretty clear. You are a corrupt and shameful organization that hides behind policies they create and change at will, and pretend investigations while claiming “customers first” but ignoring the fact that you took money from a customer of 10+ years to cover an overdrawn account of someone I’m in no way accountable for, then lied about having closed the over drawn account, and completely blowing off the BBB complaint. Shameful.

You are not alone unfortunately because Regions has a thief in Mobile, AL and no one at their complaint dept or their legal dept or their fraud dept , VP or anyone in Mobile, AL gives a damn. Do not open a account in Mobile, AL with Regions. Why? The VP is more concerned with a prepared statement then a thief even though the DA in Mobile, AL says that is not a legal term.
Hire a lawyer and speak to the DA where the house is and where you are living now. Write the President, Grayson Hall also and send doXXXXents supporting your case. Find out if the inspector works for the bank instead of being independent and call the police where the house you bought originally and make out a complaint of theft, fraud and possibly forgery. If you got pictures send them also and contact the press to see if they can give you any help.
I will because $42,000.00 was stolen from my mother’s, Mary S Randall and my bank account fraudulently and I was removed from the account fraudulently and I was never sent any written or pictorial doXXXXentation from the bank’s fraud dept, Bob Scheer or his coworker Mr. Henry who told me to have my lawyer speak to their legal dept. Maybe a class action suit can be brought against Regions and the idiots of their bank can be fired and go to prison for theft, fraud, forgery, kidnapping and possibly murder. Yes murder. Bob Scheer. I wish now that Amsouth Bank had bought your sorry ass off instead of merging with Regions because your people in Mobile and Birmingham can not find their heads out of their a**

When I asked to see the ads she signed when she did that I was told they couldn’t find it.

Last year we sold our house in California and bought a house in Arkansas. I am a disabled Iraq veteran and my wife has Cancer. We thought it would be good to sell our house and buy a house out in the country. So we got a V.A. loan and moved. We moved into the house, and we started noticing problems. The roof was leaking, every time it rained, all of the windows would leak, and there were electrical issues. We bought new flooring and when they ripped up the carpet, there was a metal pipe sticking out of the foundation in the front living room. After a few months, my wife started getting very sick, to the point where she could no longer walk. Her doctor ran some tests and we found out she had mold toxicity. The doctor told us we needed to get out of the house immediately. We also found out that there was an insurance claim for water damage that the previous owner actually admitted to in a text message to my wife. We investigated further and found out that the house was built by a guy who was only licensed to remodel and build onto existing buildings. He built the house from the ground up. We even got a home inspector. How did he miss all of this. We contacted a couple of lawyers and they said that we had a solid case and we could get the loan remanded due to the fact that the previous owners knew about all of the problems and did not disclose them. The problem, is that they said it would cost a lot of money to go to court and since we can’t afford it, I guess we just lose. They actually said since we are both disabled and have four kids, we should just be happy that we are able to get out of the house. Why is there no law in case you get a bad house. There is a Lemon law for cars, but not for houses. We contacted the bank and they said we could do a deed in lieu of foreclosure. So we sent in all of our paperwork. In fact we uploaded it multiple times. We are now renting a house back in California. Even though we were told we qualify for the deed in lieu, we recently got a letter stating that we don’t qualify and that they have foreclosed on our house and put it up for auction. How do we not qualify? We are disabled with limited income and have to pay rent at the place we are staying. We can’t afford to pay rent and a mortgage. I would like to see how they came up with the decision. I understand where the bank is coming from. They don’t care about their customers, especially disabled veterans, they just care about the numbers. I’m sure if this happened to a family member or friend of one of the executives, they would do the same thing as they are doing with me. It makes more sense to deny us and just foreclose and sell it instead of taking on a house that can’t be lived in. I just want to have a permanent home that fits my disabled needs. I don’t know what is going to happen in the next few months because the owner of the house we are renting is not going to renew the lease because he is selling. We are having a hard time finding a new home because of our credit score. Even though my credit report is perfect and the only thing on there is the foreclosure, it killed my credit score. I wish there was more help or laws to protect home buyers, especially disabled veterans. I was mangled in Iraq and this is what I get for my sacrifice. This house has literally cost me my life. This was the worst mistake I have ever made.

A decade after Hurricane Katrina, New Orleans seems to have found its rhythm again:
But recovery has been uneven in the city, which took the brunt of the 2005 storm that killed more than 1,800 people and was the costliest in U.S. history.
Social, demographic and political changes still ripple through the city.
The black population of the city, long a hub of African-American culture, has plummeted since Aug. 29, 2005, the day Katrina swept in from the Gulf of Mexico and overwhelmed the levees meant to prevent flooding in the low-lying city.
Income gaps between blacks and whites have widened. Many African-American neighborhoods and the businesses supporting them have not fully recovered.
More than 1 million evacuated from the region after Katrina, which exposed deep poverty in the city, and displaced more people than any other event since the Dust Bowl drought and dust storms of the 1930s.
“We should have made so much more progress,” There are numerous events the city is planning this month to mark the storm’s 10th anniversary. “I don’t see anything to celebrate.”

I am from Mobile, AL and our neighborhood was almost destroyed by a 22 foot surge of water . My mother got out 5 minutes before the waters came. The east part of the eye is the most dangerous and destructive of a hurricane. I am sorry for your loss and your worries after the storm but the levies did the most damage in the city of New Orleans and that was due to people not doing their jobs properly. The city had some flooding but survive the hurricane but what did the most damage to your city was the levies breaking and repairs not done properly even though federal money was given to the state and to the city. The eye of the storm went into Mississippi and there were cities 85 miles inland that were destroyed and went eastward to Pensacola, FL where they had tornados. One of the most damaging hurricanes that hit the US was one that hit Houston, TX and then went back into the gulf of Mexico and hit Louisiana and hit I10 and made a right turn and went all of the way to Florida and when up the Alantic coast and hit Maine and was halfway to Great Britain and Ireland before it died and people died in that storm also. Hurricanes can kill whether catagory 1 to 5. I do hope that Regions will help you but from what I have been thru with them with removing me off my mother’s and my bank account covered by a Durable Power of Attorney fraudulently and changing the address fraudulently which is mail fraud Grayson Hall and the other gentlemen. Mary, thank you for setting the record straight about the hurricane damage to NOLA. Indeed, they did not suffer the brunt of the storm, Mississippi, and some of Alabama took on the Northeast quandrant-the worst part of a hurricane. The flooding in LA took place AFTER the storm passed through the area, due to poor levee construction, and general complacency about levee protection. I’m back home in MS, we had house in Slidell, one hour from Biloxi, flood in 6 feet of water. We were lone gone by Sunday noon, safe here in MS. Concerning your situation, have you contacted any authorities about the fraud, like the FBI, state attorney general?

So last night I checked the balance in my regions account and low and behold it was missing $535.00, I had no idea what this could be!!! My fiancé had a ready advance account linked to the checking account, they did away with ready advance, we received a bill that said $985 was due on 10/28, after further investigation I found out that regions just took the $535, this left my account in shambles!! I called and spoke with CSR after CSR and even escalated to a supervisor, all of them said too bad, we will not credit the account. Left me broke and in the neg. I just don’t understand how they can take an amount from someone with no call or warning, especially after receiving a bill that states it is due on 10/28. In July 2014, I receive a call from Regions concern my son open up his own personal account On behalf of that taking place my son end up with a overdraft amount in his checking account. So, I request for my son to be a beneficial on my account and not a joint account holder. With the bank mistake I had to pay the overdraft of the amount in his checking account and I am very disappointed with that happen and it was not a mistake that I did so they took the funds out. I had to go into the bank to take my son name off of my savings and with that was taking place I found out my son was place on my checking. I did tell the branch associate in Southaven , Ms. that I did not request my son on my checking so she did quickly take him off of it. The bank associate also deleted him off of my savings but still I had to pay the funds. Now when I look at my account 14 days after this was taking place they close my savings and transferred my funds into my checking without my permission. Im very upset with Regions bank due to the fact you close my account without my permission. I guess if you want to do things to an account you are entitle to do so. With this taking place I’m going to find me another bank to hold an account with. I have been with your bank for awhile but never have experience anything like this.

My daughter sent her car payment on one check and sent another check to pay on the principal of her loan in March. The check designated for the principal had the acct. # and the words “Apply to principal” on the check by “Memo” section at bottom left of check. There was also a post-it note on the check saying “Apply to principal”.
She received her April statement saying she did not owe her monthly payment but no indication that the check for the amt. on the principal had been correctly applied in March. She is sending her April payment but needs to know how to get the March payment on principal correctly applied to her acct. Who should she call? Her payments go to P, O. Box 2224, Birmingham 3524-0026.
