We visited the San Antonio location and could not have had a better experience. Our son has a severe shellfish allergy. We let the front desk know when we put our name in and by the time we went upstairs to get seated they knew at that desk as well. They sat us down and after our drink order was taken someone from the kitchen personally came to our table. He stated he was made aware of the allergy and would take excellent care of our sons order. He let my 7 year old order and never made us feel like there was a limit to what he could order (which we’ve run into at places ie: nothing fried because they fry things with shellfish). We never felt like there was anything he needed to stay clear of. He ordered pizza and corn and felt like royalty since he got to order first and with a “personal cook” as he said. We ate dinner with peace in our mind knowing that he was taken care of.
I love when places go above and beyond when it comes to food allergies, but this is the first time my son has felt that peace and just ate great food in an awesome atmosphere. Great job Rainforest Cafe San Antonio!

Treated like trash! I took my daughter and her 6 friends to the rainforest cafe in menlo park mall in new jersey because she was turning 15 years old and the food and service was poor. There were 8 of us. We patiently waited for 2 hours for a table walking around the mall until we received a text. Then after getting a table, we waited over an hour to get our food after the drinks were brought. I complained to the manager that we had been waiting over an hour and the manager insisted the wait was only 30 minutes but we got seated at 5:10 and it was 6:15pm when we got our food. The manager rounded up 4 people to bring our food immediately all of a sudden it was ready after I complained. If I did not complain we would have waited 2 hours. We waited so long the teenagers were falling asleep at the table and sighing and yawning at the table with the menus. see the picture. then we waited 30 minutes to get a lava cake after eating and I complained to the manager about the lava cake and the waitress forgot. I told the manager and he said that its because the cake comes after the dinner was over. but the the waitress kept serving other families who came to the cafe after we got there. several families came after us and left before us. Then after eating we waiting 30 minutes to get our check after we were done. the waitress was so busy the manager gave us our check. In total we were there for 3 hours. because the service was so poor, I complained to the manger and his response was to quickly put the gratuity charge on my credit card. Instead of the server bringing the check, the manager brought the check with an announcement that the gratuity was already added in. and he wrote on the receipt gratuity already added at 18%. as you see “18% gratuity included.” Instead of hearing my complaints he simply blew them off. I spent $295 in total to wait, essentially 3 hours to eat and the food was awful too…the drinks were watered down. the waitress had to keep going back to fix the drinks and they were never fixed. The food was awful plates were left empty by the kids and they left the drink cups full because they were so disgusting. I wondered if this happened because we were Black. I asked the manager if we were the wrong color to be served correctly and he simply said, “He was the wrong color too.” I’d never go back and wasted my money and time and my daughters special day remembered for bad food and bad service. User’s recommendation: warn them of long wait times, possibly racist waitresses, and insensitive managers who don’t care because they are going to take the money off your credit card anyway

So disappointed went to the Atlantic City location. To celebrate a birthday Let’s start with the air conditioner there was none. It was so unpleasant. The waitress was sweating the manager was sweating. Didn’t want to think about the sweat dripping into the food. The waitress was doing her best to make it as pleasant as she can. Now let’s talk about the atmosphere nothing moved. The child that was with us and the adults were so disappointed. What a waste of time and money.

PLEASE never let this leave Disney and while you are at it bring it back to your other Rainforest cafe’s in other parts of the country. It is the main reason we eat there.

I am very upset. Same scenario happened to me where my reservation was lost somehow. We approached the Rainforest Cafe in Nashville and there was a bigger manager running the front and was telling us that it would have to be two separate tables. I want to sit together I made a reservation to sit together. I was furious at this point but what can I do, they had a one-hour wait. As I approached the back I was under the assumption that my family couldn’t even sit nowhere near each other. However when I got to the back there was a very sweet girl named Savannah when I discuss my issue with her she made it happen. She told me if I just gave her 20 minutes that she would assure that we would definitely sit together. She made the comment that if anyone else has an issue with it they can come see her because it’s not about them it’s about the guest and what the guest wants. Within kind of snuck around retail cuz she did not want to offend her new management team but lo and behold 12 minutes later we all had a place at one table and had an awesome time. She also assured us that we would have an amazing server her name was Laura I think her last name was sentell cuz we even asked her not sure but I definitely know her name was Laura. She said due to the issues that they had and unfortunately we’re dealing with a lot of new incomers that she would make sure from that moment on our experience would be great

This past weekend we were scheduled to have a birthday party for my grandson . Since it was only family attending and mostly adults I did not book a party, but I made arrangements for us to have a “group event”. When I called 30 minutes before we were to arrive, I discovered that I had no reservation and that they would only accommodate us at separate tables. I was very upset because my family had come in from four different cities and another state for us all to get together. I explained to the person who answered the phone that this was very unfair because I had booked two weeks ago and I was from out of town and I didn’t have any other way to make other arrangements. She said she was sorry and she was very kind, but I was very disappointed. Because I didn’t have time to make other arrangements we went ahead to the Rainforest Cafe. When I got to the Rainforest cafe, I was met by the manager, Myriam Chiney, she was very kind and told me she had taken care of everything and she had set up a table for all 14 of us at one table and she introduced me to the server. Myriam came by several times to make sure everything was okay. The server was very attentive and was wonderful to my grandson and we all had
good food and good service a great time! I cannot express my thanks and appreciation enough to Myriam and her staff for making it a wonderful experience for all of us.

My family and went to rainforest by default because we ended up in Katy Mills Mall in Houston. I remembered years ago taking my son for his birthday I thought this would be a nice reunion place for my son to have dinner with their father who is vet and came in from out of town. I should have left it as a memory. The food was ridiculously over priced. You get about 5 bucks worth of food for 18 and some change but taste is like a chines buffet everything taste the same! If as much money was put in the food as it was in the décor Rainforest could be one of the best global wide. Just another company proving how they can make money by visual effects without actually delivering anything. You guys made over 254 million year that’s why I want my money back!

We are frequent customer of your Anaheim Disney location but since they’ve closed I decided to treat my daughter and grandsons and drive the distance to Ontario. We were EXTREMELY unsatisfied with Both food and service. The Bbq chicken wrap had a very Spoiled taste. The fries had a “fishy” taste. The buns on both burgers were stale.. We exchanged the wrap for chicken strips that were also “fishy” tasting .Like it was fried in old oil…The server was non attentive not even offering drink refills. The manager was unapologetic for the food and service and I was told by her to contact corporate office. After spending almost $70 we were completely unsatisfied.. please contact me with any question or further info.

Please be advised that my kids my wife and I were at rainforest cafe dubai (UAE) at 10:15 pm may 2nd .
I ordered appetizers and main course and specifically asked if they can brought us the appetizers first .but they brought the main course for my wife and with no silverware plus the table was dirty I had to go and ask the server from the Philippines to bring us the silverware he did but without a spoon my wife had to eat her pasta that way after good 10 mins they brought the appetizer ,
The food wasn’t the same we use to have in Orlando FL
Later on the server starts to sweep the floor next to me after 5 mins want to pick up the plates we were eating (we felt not welcomed )
I asked for the bill and automatically the server asked his colleagues to clean the table while I was wrapping my kids bags and my belonging although the restaurant was slow at the whole time. I was asked how was everything and I told the server that I am very disappointed on the service, I didn’t ask to call someone but he went somewhere and he sent me a manager. I explained the situation to him and he wants to fix these horrible experience by giving candy to my kids . I laughed and I told him I would never come back to his restaurant. Thank you

I was at Disney Animal Kingdom this past week.
It was 98* outside. I was in a scooter because I can’t walk far due to over radiation from
Cancer to my brain. A Rainforest employee saw I was over heated and brought me a bottle
Of water and a portable fan.
Also, he went out of his way to get me and my family a table. His name is Brian and I truly believe he’s an amazing employee you are lucky to have!!
We enjoyed our dinner so much!
