Nine transfers and NO RESOLUTION. Cell is out of service.
It is now 10:11pm EST and I am on hold again. The Customer Service team keeps putting me on hold and then back into regular queue. I am still unable to activate my cell 215 913-XXXX all I get is SOS and no one can resolve.
Please provide direct support number and to someone who can resolve this problem. I cannot hold any longer.

Customer service from pure talk is awful, sad to say. I have tried to resolve my issues with pure talk customer service but no results. When I signed up I was told the iphones (2) were new but open boxes and therefor discounted to me. I was told they are new phones with 1 year warranty. What I have discovered when Siri stopped working was the phones I purchased were out of warranty because they have been registered with Apple previously. Upon calling pure talk and posing the question why was I told the phones were new? they had no answer except they would look into the original sale audio tapes and would get back to me. I have not been contacted. Regarding cellular service rarely do I see anymore that 2 bars. People complain that when I call them from my home I am breaking up. Text messages at times don’t complete. This has occurred many times. My intentions are to call corp headquarters tomorrow in an attempt to resolve these issues. Stand by.

To Whom It May Concern:
My name is Ken Hewitt and I initiated mobile phone service with your company on March 28, 2022. My account number is 2xxxxxxxxxxxx5. FEDEX delivered my phones on April 4 and I proceeded to activate them with the anticipation of good service from your company, with adequate equipment that would perform. I contend that this was a reasonable expectation from a good service provider.
Unfortunately this was not the case. Over seven hours was wasted waiting for the phones to complete the necessary updates for activation. My wife and I went to bed hoping the updates would be complete by morning. To our disappointment, the next morning the phones were still updating.
After several more hours and calls to Pure Talk customer service the phones were still not working. There was over a forty-five minute wait time for each of these calls and one representative hung up on me. The last representative, Donna, informed me that I needed high speed internet service for these updates.
She also explained that the salesperson, Damien, should have explained this to me. I explained to her that my first questions to Damien were about internet service from Pure Talk which was explained that internet service would come from the “Hot Spot” technology on my new phones. Donna explained that the download speeds from a “Hot Spot” was not fast enough for the update downloads for the new phones. I also explained that my previous internet service was from “Hot Spot” from Verizon, my former cell phone provider. During my activation of Pure Talk my previous phone and internet service was deactivated/cancelled. I was left with no internet service. Donna commented that the salesman should not have sold me the product with that knowledge. It would not work for me.
For reasons of equipment failure, false claims by the Pure Talk representative, poor customer service to help with equipment activation I am returning the following equipment:

My service contract discusses a return policy within fourteen (14) days. This seems to be a standard rescission arrangement to protect the consumer from circumstances that I encountered with Pure Talk. I would appreciate a full refund to my account balance with you.
In addition to shipping charges of $42, reactivation charges of $213.71 for mobile phone service with Verizon and lost promotion opportunities with Verizon for new phones of $1,400 I have suffered tremendous aggravation/stress with consequences to my health.
I hope you can accommodate my request.

Bought a phone Changed my service to pure talk. Three months later my phone went down 2/24/2022 It works off 4G. called in emailed was told in an email to keep contacting them threw emails, last email received was from Bryan who told me that according to their records that my problem was resolved . Was told to respond threw emails. I was last answered on the 3/7/2022.sent emails after emails the last email i sent was 3/14/2022
Spent 40 or more hours waiting to speak to a human, was hung upon by the auto service 4 or 5 times. Got threw to a human once who did not let me talked and told me I needed to go to a different department and switched over. An hour and a half later the system hung up on me. Three people told me they would send in a request for a refund, two asked if I wanted wanted my service cut off. One asked if I still wanted to transfer my number over. With that said I just got off the phone (web) 2.99 a month, with a person that told me that it was the fact that I was using a third party phone, that it was a 3G phone. But it is a 4 G, But they just hooked it up and my question was why did they not tell me It was a old phone that would not work with the shut down? Then she talked over me and then was trying to place the problem in my lap. Said I would not be able to understand that it was all me, If i would listen to her she would explain. If the people would stand up and fight this it would not ever be a problem again.
Oh and the 3G shut down was 2/22/2022 They turned the same phone that was shut down back on.

P.S. most of the things done to and about my service was done after the calls, and hours begging and pleading for help . I felt like I was tied and bent over after a beating and this woman was going to tell me that because I wanted to be treated like a human ,that I must suffer the lost of my funds. I left AT& BECAUSE, I was fir years be charged or fiber opps and to this day they still use hard wired service. This was 7 or eight years ago. Ran down a cable guy on the road, form another state.

I am sad to say that I am hopelessly disappointed with this company. I have called over and over again trying to get in contact with a supervisor they have been taking I have two phones with them I had my other phone has been down since the first week of November they charged me again after I made them aware of this I’ve been waiting for a call from a supervisor I have called five different times waiting for that call I need an extra phone I needed to speak to someone about that when I call sometimes I am hung up on just like I just waited an hour and 15 minutes for someone to help and they switched it back into the main switchboard to where you had to choose again to be directed to the next available associate. I admire everyone that has given their name to this company greatly but this company sadly is a shipwreck and I never needed my phone my extra phone I’ve got two and I needed my extra phone for work terribly and nobody ever calls you back I’m ready to call the FCC on this I’m ready to call the Secretary States Office with regard to this because the corporation in the state of Georgia it needs to act accordingly and I’m also getting ready to bring suit for the funds that have been taken out of my account for my phone that has been broken since the first week of November so if you want to raise your blood pressure and be hopelessly disappoint A company and be frustrated every day as you go to work and come home then pick this company because you’ll have your wish. There are very nice people working at this company in the kohl center’s and they’re trying so hard to help you but when they refer you to a supervisor for a call back you will never ever get it so it’s not that they’re not doing their job now then by the same token there’s plenty of people that will hang up on you also so for now you should just stay away from this company. I had an iPhone and I wanted it to a couple of inexpensive little phones and an expensive phone service but you know what you get what you pay for and it’s not worth the frustration. Pure Talk sold me a 5 G compatible phone with order P0000618426, invoiced February 9, 2022, received via Fed X by signature on Feb 14, 2022.
Phone operated under phone number 325-###- 1352 for several days until Feb 25, and then no longer would receive calls or make outgoing calls.
Likely cause, in my opinion due to 5 G system upgrade. BUT PHONE-WAS SOLD BY Pure Talk as 5 G compatible.
My wife called 611 service on Monday, Feb 28.
I contacted Pure Talk via on line portal on Monday Feb 28, 2022, and received a reply from Jason at Pure Talk via email, on March 2, stating my phone from Pure Talk is incompatible.

I spoke to 611 customer service on March 4, 2022. I was to receive a call from a supervisor later on March 4, did not receive.
I received a message from Steve during my church services on March 6. I returned call at ~ 2 pm, to speak to Merkosha at 611. I was told I couldn’t get a refund, over 14 days of purchased. Promised Steve , the lead, will return call.
Merkosha advised I owe a subsidy for phone on the Nokia purchase of Feb 9, 2022, EVEN THOUGH NOKIA IS INCOMPATIBLE WITH 5 G.
325- ###-1352 cannot be ported to another carrier, per Merkosha, because I owe a subsidy for the phone Pure Talk misrepresentation as 5 G compatible.

I have to say the good price is no where low enough to make up for the extremely horrible customer service you have. I have 5 phones with your company and had no problems until recently. I’m not even going to complain about the several times I had to wait over an hour to get an agent on the phone but the lack of knowledge the agents have and instead of finding out they stick you back in the que. I had to upgrade a phone because of 3g shutdown and a phone we bought off your list of phones didn’t work when 3g turned off. The first agent was going to fix it but our call some how got disconnected. When I called back the agent I got said she is sending me back to the same girl to finish fixing. I got a message her voicemail was disconnected or something and stuck back in the que. After another hour I got someone else who told me the phone we bought from you wasn’t compatible and the other persons fix wasn’t going to work he told me I had to go back to customer service to get refunded. Back in que for another hour. I have asked several times for a supervisor but got answer they aren’t available or put back into que. When I got to customer service they told me I had to pay for the return because it’s a working phone. I told them that tech said it wasn’t 4g but 3g phone. Then customer service said I have to get tech to damage out the phone for me not have to pay for return. I asked for supervisor got no where with that but stuck back in que. I’m on hold again for an hour and a half to try and not pay for the return of your companies mistake. Horrible. You should be ashamed of how bad this is. Once I’m clear I will definitely be taking my business somewhere else and give my bad review everywhere I can

I am a new pure talk customer. My concern, I was told on my initial call for service that I could receive my monthly payment via USPS. I am now being told by Steve @ ext2187 that the agent must not have had there morning coffee therefore misspoke. I asked for your name and email address and told none of the agents have your email address. Please review my initial call to Terese (not Teresa) to confirm my understanding about payment options. I am concerned about what to believe from customer service if I can’t believe out conversation in total.
