Sam Yates says
Plantation Patterns was founded years before 2011 as claimed. It was originally on Airport Highway in Birmingham, Al until Sam Blount bought Meadowcraft in the 1980’s. Plantation Patterns was moved to Wadley, Al and the Meadowcraft sewing room was moved to Selma as a part of Plantation Patterns. So, whoever claims that Plantation Patterns was founded in 2011 doesn’t know what they are talking about.

Plantation Patterns was originally in Birmingham, Al near Airport Highway in the 1960’s, moving to Wadley, Al after Sam Blount bought out Meadowcraft in the 1980’s. The sewing plant was moved from Birmingham to Selma under the name Plantation Patterns in the 80’s. So, no, Plantation Patterns was not founded in 2011.
