iOFFICE enables users to store multiple building floor plans and calculate space utilization in a variety of ways, such as occupancy, room type or by groups such as cost center, project team, organization level and more. 4Ocean was founded by Alex Schulze and Andrew Cooper after the pair took a diving vacation in Indonesia. The men were shocked by the amount of trash and floating plastic that their boat driver had to pass through before finding clear water.

4Ocean is a for-profit company that sells bracelets and uses part of the proceeds to remove the plastic and other trash from oceans around the globe. In March 2020, the company placed a series of harbor skimmers, which collects the trash that frequents boat harbors automatically.

To date, the company says it has removed 8 million pounds of garbage and hopes to remove 10 million by the end of 2020.

History

In September 2019, 4Ocean pledged 1 percent of all sales to other environmental causes, not only ocean-based groups.

4Ocean does not accept donations since it is a for-profit company. Some have criticized the corporation for not being more transparent about how much revenue the company generates vs how much is actually spent on cleaning projects.
