The 1 Stop on Fenton Rd Flint Michigan closes its doors from 11pm till Midnight 7 nights a week with a note on the door claiming “Shift Change ” , meanwhile the employees are in parking lot talking with friends and smoking ciggerettes,no other 1 Stop store in Flint closes its doors for an hour fo shift change,its especially frustrating to sit waiting for gasoline while employees taking part in a 1 hour shift change have time to visit with a car load of friends giggling & smoking while looking at a parking lot full of customers tire of waiting & leave,im leaving now & will ne going out of my way to buy gas from Speedway after work every night ,corporate management shouldndo something about this customer chasing away pratice.
My husband bought a $30 scratch off ticket from the One Stop on Fenton Rd. Flint MI, 48507 between approximately 12:00pm and 12:30pm on March 7, 2021. It was a $75 winner. He immediately took the ticket back to claim his winnings in which it wouldn’t scan due to the roll not being scanned as it came in to the store. The cashier (who’s name is Sarah) preceded to tell my husband (even though it had only been a few minutes since the purchase) that he didn’t buy the ticket from there and that she wasn’t going to activate the roll. He asked for her boss, who came out. Sarah continued to tell her boss that he didn’t buy it there. My husband then bought ANOTHER of the same ticket which came from the same roll (you know by the numbers on the bottom) and scratched it right then and there, which was ANOTHER winner. And Sarah and whichever manager was there at that time STILL refused to activate the roll or give him hid winnings, which was now well over $100. She even trued to TAKE one of the tickets. I then asked Sarah for corporates phone number which she refused to give to me and told me the roll was now activated if I’d like to cash the tickets in. My mother had THIS SAME PROBLEM at that SAME EXACT location with a different scratch off just days ago. This situation was definitely uncalled for and VERY VERY unprofessional!!! Something needs to be done about the workers at this location. One worker a few months ago use to lock the doors several times a day/night to go to the bathroom and do heroin then would come let us in and wait on us VISIBLY high out of her mind! I will continue to contact corporate offices until something is done because THIS was outright rediculous!!!
I agree the employees at the Fenton Rd store have zero customer service training & a manager whos depressed.about her job,im currently watching the night shift employee smoking outside the store while its doors are locked for a 1 hour ridiculous shift change .
