I bought a used scanpad 071 from Stanton ruggles the Mac tool distributor.when I tried to operate it I never could get to work other than the demo. Told Stanton ruggles about it . Was told just keep trying you will figure it out.never did had people look at it they could not figure it out. I retired from g.e. and had this tool I could not get to work
My son looked at it and found out the tool was no good to me.i was not. The owner of it I need a password and user id. Called launch pad tech told me nothing they could do for me needed proof of owner ship.i told them I had receipt. Didn’t matter after calling Stanton ruggles I said he would see if he could get in contact with owner. never called me back . That when I call Mac tool customer serv. Rep if talked to several reps. First time I was referred to Dave stunaugle the dm. He told me would see what he could do give him a couple of days he was loaded down. After a month I call Mac tool back up they said they would contact Dave. I was sent a email stating that Dave had contacted me.and told me the issue was closed he could not do anything. I call Mac up and let the customer rep. Know that Dave was lying to them and felt he should not be working for Mac tools if hes lying to the company. Customer serv. Said they would turn it over to the reg rep. Dave called me and told me to contact Paul the tech. For launch tools he said that said if I s/n of tool that he could help. Wrong Dave lied again . Talked to Paul was told Dave never talked to him.
So here I go again called Mac customer serv. Told them what happened. Got a email saying there was nothing more that could be done.that it was between me and Stanton ruggles.and as I know he no longer works for Mac tools.which is another lie .I had stated I didnt think he sold Mac tool at g.e. any longer he works there now. He still works for Mac tools. I seen him diving the Mac truck just 2 days ago. Last time I talked to Mac customer serv . Felt it’s gotten to the point I want a new scan tool or my money back.but it’s hard to do anything when you keep getting run around.i should have never been sold this scan tool it was not Mac tools distributors. Right to sell it with out getting all issues taken care. It’s got to be illegal..

I purchased some tools from a franchise vendor and used my debit card for one time payment. The 4″ extention and two reverse sockets were not delivered. What has made matters worse I was not given a receipt and now an additional 50.00 has been debited from my card without authorization and the truck vendor has my phone number and info which he hasnt bothered to use to make contact with me. Im pissed this is not a first time good experience. My contact number is 940-443-XXXX and my name is Tracy Moss in Texas

Hi, I work at Mr. Front End, that deal with all makes and models of cars, trucks and Semi trucks. We had a Mac tool dealer that came to the shop weekly and now we haven’t seen him for the last 2 years. We have purchased many of your tools over the years and require some replacements. We would greatly appreciate a visit to help us with the warranty of the broken tools. I know you have larger customers than our shop, however, I am sure you still appreciate the small businesses as well. Please let me know you have received this message and that there is a solution for our problem.
Thank you for your prompt attention inths matter.
Alan Nelson.
