I ordered the 30 color pallet eyeshadow on the online store and when I got my order after arriving several days late all that was in the enormous box was nothing but black tissue paper and some kind of cheap free makeup bag! I was immediately on the phone with Mac to find out why then I found out that I may have ordered and paid for 30 colors but they were only sending 24 colors and I didn’t get any of it! After several times of me explaining what I needed I finally reached a supervisor that seemed competent and was told that he would issue my refund, and let me make this fact known I paid a little over a few hundred dollars so it was a good amount of money. I was told by this supervisor that he did issue a refund and I would definitely get it back to the original form of payment in 7-10 business days and to make sure that he was giving correct information he even supplied me with his first name and employee number and I have to admit I hung up feeling confident that I would receive the refund. Then the tenth business day came and went so I call back and I’m told that I need to wait two additional days before they can look into the matter so I did and yet again NOTHING!!! So now I am understandably frustrated so I call back it’s now been 15 days since I first got the refund processed and I was not even willing to deal with anyone other than a supervisor so after being put on hold for what seems like forever I get a supervisor and she looks into the matter and tells me that she went ahead and processed my refund back to the original form of payment and it will take another 7-10 business days and this is when I get upset because I’ve already waited more than enough time and now I have to wait again and she tells me basically she did what she was willing to do that I should wait for a confirmation email but that will take a few days as well! Ok now I think my head is going to explode and I asked her what happens when I don’t get my refund again and she tells me that I can call back in and they will TRY and process my refund again! TRY? Really? So I ask for her boss and she argued that nobody is above her so I cannot speak to anyone else which I am not a total idiot so I know that’s not true and I tell her that I will get to the bottom of this one way or another and I want her employee number which should not be a problem since the last supervisor I dealt with was more than happy to give me his employee number and she tells me NO that nobody is higher than her she doesn’t answer to anyone so she will not give me her employee number. I’m so beyond frustrated and I tell her that the last supervisor actually gave me his employee number and why can’t she and she jus kept saying that she processed the refund and nobody was higher than her! I got so upset that I just hung up! I’ve been buying MAC products for years and the amount of money I’ve put into this cosmetics line is really really high and normally I go and buy it in person cause I hate to wait and I didn’t want something like this to happen so the first time ever that I order online this is the treatment I get? I worked in customer service for several years and if I had an agent speak to a customer in the rude and unprofessional tone that supervisor Alissa did I would have made sure that she fix it immediately or she would have been packing up her desk right then and there! What is going on with your company when u don’t send out orders correctly or refunding money and allowing your agents to talk to your customers in such a rude and disrespectful manner? I’m going to get my refund back one way or another and I’m done with MAC Cosmetics after that which is such a shame because I buy so much of it on a very regular basis and truly enjoy the high quality of all the products, but I don’t enjoy being treated like crap so I’m going to discontinue putting my money into a makeup brand that clearly does not give a crap about the people that keep them in business. Shame on you MAC Cosmetics and if I were a person in your company with any authority I’d be pulling that phone conversation with Alyssa and I’d be firing her immediately for being so unprofessional to customers.

I ordered online on December 18,2019 and made the mistake of paying with after pay and on top of that using MAC Cosmetics website. Here I am thinking I’ve used it before with other companies and I have never had a problem I should be good. So I paid my balance before it was all do on after pay thinking let me just get it out of the way why not I don’t need it. So today I decided hey let me chat online and check the status and guess what I was told it was put on pause and I needed to speak with someone with higher power then another representative takes part of our chat and says sorry it was cancelled and when I asked why she didn’t respond I waited over 5 mins on a chat and no response so I decided to end my chat and just call. When I called I was told ohh this may happen when orders are on back order did it state that when you placed your order I said no it didn’t he than suggested I call my bank since I let him know I didn’t not receive my money he than stated it had a hold and can now process which is too much of a coincidence because you would think a company this big would send emails when they cancel orders and now that I called everything is in process makes 0 sense. The rep than stated I should of received an email which I didn’t. I asked to speak with a supervisor he transferred me and she stated she can place my order and give me the 30% off which I had in my original order but I needed to make another payment. Here I am thinking why would I give you another $95 when all you can tell me is that since you paid with after pay you have to call them since it’s a third party like it’s my fault this company works with a third party and this option is available for customers. Then I receive an email saying I requested a cancellation of my product. What I want to know is how can a company this big just not care of how they treat customers and how they can just cancel orders and make it seem like you have to call here and call there and ohh I can take another payment from you and ohh wait now let us send you emails about cancellations now that you called to check status. I will NEVER purchase from here again. I am so disappointed with this company in a whole after speaking with 4 different workers and getting no where.

Hello! I am actually commenting to voice a complaint, in which I am sure you have had many complaints for this very same reason! I am very very upset that you have discontinued the pro longwear liquid foundation! I have been using the that foundation in nw30 for many many years and absolutely LOVED it!! I have tried the replacement, the waterproof liquid foundation and am not happy AT ALL with it! It is dry and feels cakey on my my face! I also tried the studio fix and it is too watery. I have search all over online trying desperately to find the pro longwear nw30 and I have been unsuccessful! I am begging for you to bring the original pro longwear foundation back PLEASE!!!

The closest to the texture of ole foundation you will get, is the ole concealer, I know it can be a bit tedious using a concealer as foundation, but a little goes a long way and it has the same beautiful satin finish as the foundation!

I have heard for years that MAC foundations are the best in the industry but only recently decided to give MAC a try. I went to the MAC store at Lenox Mall on Sunday September 8th to learn about your products and make a purchase. When I arrived there were a few people were being helped ahead of me but I was in no hurry so I waited. As a sales lady became available and was greeting me, she apparently noticed a friend enter the store behind me so she smiled and greeted them looking over my shoulder in the middle of my answering her question about what I was looking for. It was only a brief exchange so I continued. I explained that I was looking for full coverage foundation for my combination skin. She motioned for me to follow her toward the foundations then without any comment left me among the various foundations to go help her friend. I languished in the multitude of foundation options for a minute or two until the other sales person came available and I was able to get her attention. She listened to my needs asked a few questions then directed me to have a seat at the beauty counter area. I assumed she would select a few bottles that would be a close color match and return right away to try them on my skin. Instead she left me sitting there while she went to help someone else. I might have excused this had she explained she wanted to spend time with me and would better be able to do that if she helped with a quick transaction before coming back to me, but instead she just left me, without any word of what she was doing or when she would return, to help another customer. By this time, after having been passed over by both your associates, my patience expired. I sat there a few moments, then my daughter and I got up and left. I must tell you I can’t remember ever being treated so rudely by store associates. I will never return to the Lenox Mall MAC store. I am not certain I want to try your products all together if that sort of behavior is typical for your organization.

Good afternoon, I made an online purchase for my wife on 6/24/19 #3618261728. I even signed up for e-mail alerts. When it finally came on 7/2/19, my wife noticed that item #S3HT11 Lipglass, was not included, but item #M6JC08 Studiofix liquid was. We noticed that there is an on line guarantee that states that an exchange of return can be made at any free standing store in the US. Great, I’m going to NY the next day and I’ll make the exchange. I spoke with Steen the manager at the Grand Central location. He said he could not exchange it because the mistaken product # is not on the receipt. Not my error. I’m following the instructions of the guarantee. Sorry I can’t help you. He did have the item I paid for in stock. But he would not exchange for it. I left the store and called customer service at 5:00pm. I spoke with a customer service representative named Tammy and a Supervisor named Felicia. I was on the phone with them for an hour. I agreed to have them send me the lipglass, even though I just saw it at the store. Then I was informed that it was out of stock!!! I asked if the supervisor was familiar the company guarantee, she said yes. But if the store wouldn’t exchange it there was nothing she could do. This means the company guarantee is meaningless. I was sent the incorrect product, spent 90 min at a store and on the phone and could not get anyone to honor the company guarantee. That’s seems like a problem. Customer service should have contacted the store and let me have the exchange. Now I have a bitter taste about M.A.C and no product to give to my wife. I asked what should I do with the wrong item that was sent. I was told to keep it. I replied that my wife didn’t want it. She said do what you want with. I said I’ll throw it in the garbage. She said you can do that.
Somebody should be able to exchange an item and resolve a simple customer issue that wasn’t caused by the customer.
I would appreciate a response by someone who can honor the guarantee. But it is much more than that at this point.
Thank you.

Thank you fir the invitation. I’m an avid MAC fan and I had been to one event before. At that event we say around in a story of vlad Ron environment. The bright ir different products and showed us how, when. whe, why to use them.
I guess I was I expecting something similar.
I can’t express how disappointed I eas to drive 2 hours for a color match. The girl don’t explain anything. She brought out the same thing that was offered to my 24 yr old daughter in-law. she had oily skin.
I am 51 my skin is dry.
I asked about moisturizers, my pores, fine lines and she basically said all we’re doing is color match.
No answers or ideas for any of my skin concerns.
It wasn’t busy she just wasn’t going to spend any time.
I usually go to MAC at Dillards or Nordstrom’s and always get excellent service.
So, I was doubly disappointed with the actual MAC store treatment that I received.
I was prepared to purchase stuff fir myself asx well as treat my future daughter in-law to anything she wanted as she’s just now being introduced to MAC.
Needless to say after the treatment that we’re recieved I didn’t purchase anything. I will never return to MAC.
Instead, we went to Sephora and spent $800+ and got everything we got everything we needed.
So disappointed. The email below says
“Master your makeup artistry.”
But that is not what took place. MAC should be above these bait and switch tactics.
Very disappointed…

I was at a MAC store in Tyrone Mall St Petersburg Florida on a Sunday and I was so blown away by one of your employee that works at that location that I felt I needed to share it because it was exceptional. I am used with grumpy sales associates on Sundays because I get it no one wants or likes to work on a Sunday but this young lady exceeded all my expectations by her overall behavior and curtesy professionalism and sweetness all at the same time.
So long story short I wasn’t there to buy anything but my daughter in law wanted to try some make up in that store so I was just waiting around … this young lady took care of my daughter in law processed a return for a very impatient customer and also helped another customer who was asking her for directions to a different store in the mall all at the same time I mean WOW .
I don’t use a lot of make up just mascara and lipstick and face cream so I use to buy La Mer for cream or Christian Dior for lipstick and mascara .
I left with all these from that store and I don’t think I’ll ever use another brand.
I just hope that someone will acknowledge this young lady for her passion dedication and hard work because she is IMPRESIVE her name is
EVA CIOLACU … I hope I didn’t misspell her name I think she is a real asset for your company.
Thank you

Mac accepted my online order number 3305733574 and later cancelled it due to it being out of stock. So suprized that a big corporate company like Mac refused to match the price for another lipstick. Kathelyn the supervisor had a ton of excuses as to why she couldn’t replace it but not one logical answer as to why a big cosmetic giant like Mac doesn’t have an accurate inventory system. Don’t accept orders if you can’t fulfill them. Beyond disappointing!!

To whom this may concern,
I live in Last Vegas , Nevada. Yesterday was National Lipstick Day and I saw the Fox 5 news the day before about one free lipstick per customer. I got up two hours early and waiting an hour before Ulta opened their doors only to find out they were not honoring this. They had no notice on their door or anything that would suggest what their plans were. They were not sympathetic or empathetic in any way. Just “Oh, ya, we’re not doing that.” I had taken my sister’s about this and they showed up a few minutes before the store opened to get their lipstick as well. It felt like false advertisements and I am. SO DISAPPOINTED!

I am beyond hurt that my bachelorette party was ruined by Mac on state street inside Macy’s in Chicago by employee Clarissa Rodriguez. I got her whole name from a very sweet employee named Amanda. Clarissa was trying to help me and my wedding party with makeup for the wedding but after asking her to wash her hands due to a bad odor of an unclean woman on her period she got upset and treated us very poorly! She called us names and embarrassed us to be a part of Mac in any way. I am a corporate executive and this was the most unprofessional, business drowning experience I’ve ever had. Help your business by helping yourself. It’s as simple as understanding that your employees represent your company as a whole so promoting cleanliness and positivity and removing those who don’t follow those guidelines is vital for your business to thrive. My very first time ordering from Mac. I received my order and it was destroyed. My foundation was in a million pieces and all the other products had been spilled inside the box. I talked to a manager Vanessa and an agent Aubrey who were very nice and went above and beyond to get me another order express! However I did not receive my express order overnight like I should have and I called customer service and spoke with manager named Wendy who was rude, argumentive and unprofessional. She automatically assumed I wanted something for free and never apologized for the inconvience until she was addressed. She constantly talked over me and made me feel like I shouldn’t be calling about my late order that hadn’t arrived. Then only to find out that my package was left at the front door for 12 hours while I was at work in the rain! I’m devastated! This was the worst experience ever ! Please have someone of higher authority to contact me please.

I called to let mac know and it will be another 5 days before I see my product, yet you charged me already.
I’m going to see if can get this message to corporate so they know what crappy service mac provides in their warehouses and online orders! Definitely no quality assurance with Mac online!

Saturday July 29th was National Lipstick Day and MAC announced that it would be giving away 1 free lipstick per person. Well I was out of town for a family reunion and decided to participate in this gracious giveaway. There were no bait and switch tactics or so I thought. My family and I drove to the Mac store located at 4101 Branch Ave, Marlow Heights, MD 20748. At 8 am the store was not open although stated so online. We then returned to the store at 10:15 am and was told that they were only giving away 100 lipsticks and were sold out. They were only selling lipsticks that they had in stock that were not apart of the MAC National Lipstick Day. Now I called another Mac store (Union Station 40 Massachusetts Ave NW Washington DC 20002) to see if this was true and I was told that they had over 100 lipsticks at their location but that they were sold out of all of them. I am very disappointed that my family and I were lied to with a bait and switch tactic at the Marlow Heights store. WE wasted time and was greeted with poor service. Please investigate this situation. We were not the only ones affected by Marlow Heights decision to bait and switch its customers just so that their monthly numbers could go up. IF you offer a free lipstick per person either have it in fine print that it varies with each location or hold these stores accountable. We will not give our business to those who use bait and switch tactics. It is not legal! Customers are important and we drive the company sales! Please rectify the situation. Thank you from a very loyal MAC customer.

I went to the Mac counter in the Macy’s mall in the woodlands mall at 1201 Lake Woodlands Dr. , the woodlands ,TX 77380 phone 281-362-6100. It was 2 pm and there were hardly any customers there. I just worked as a nurse all night trying to stabilize a medically fragile foster child on his life support. I went to Mac , I wanted a chestnut lip liner and that’s it. I approach the counter, where there were two associates a lady w short blonde hair and a lady w/ long jet black hair. Before I could even speak the lady with the long jet black hair ( employee number 10986864) , held out her hand like a stop sign and said someone will be with you shortly. I was not greeted at all. So the blonde lady and black hair lady left the counter. The lady with the long black hair Immediately went to her fresh face client seated, and started applying makeup. At this point I’m at the counter and have already waited 10min. Then I see another associate with long brown hair, I see her gathering eyeshadow for her client that’s seated. I approach her and said , all I want to buy is a chestnut lipliner that’s it. The lady said ok, I will be with you shortly . I went back to the counter and waited another 10min. My feet are sore and in pain. Suddenly the lady with the long black hair approach the register and tells me, you need to step back away from the register , I need to get these people . Those people were the two girls she was with earlier, one of which she did their makeup. So I let them in front of me . Meanwhile the girl with the long brown hair retrieves my lip liner and place it next to the register of the girl with jet black hair. When the girl with the long black hair finish cashing out her client. I approach the counter, she says no , wait some more minutes. So I start telling the client of the lady with the long brown hair how long I’ve been there, and all I wanted was a lipliner. The lady with the long black hair overhears and says I can take you where is it. I tell her it’s right there next to your register. She say ok and rings me up. She hands me the product with only the receipt. I had to beg and ask can I have a bag. She said all I have is medium, here. I ask who is your mangager and she writes the manager name Alexis on my receipt . She never say, bye , have a good day , or sorry for any inconvenience . I left and went to my car crying. And during this whole time the lady with the short blonde hair was no where to be found. These people are RUDE. They are not black people friendly. Because by the way I’m black and everyone one there is white. If you are not an old white lady that looks like she has money, they don’t care 2 cents about you . This is absolutely the worst MAC counter I’ve been too. If they are any reflection of how the manager is , I don’t even want to waste my time speaking to her. I’m PURE Disgusted by the sheer rudeness, disrespect , and tasteless behavior by these people who are called representatives for a global cosmetic company that is suppose to be an advocate of people of color trying to embrace their outer beauty. I’m in the process of contacting their corporate administration office and the local news station.

I’ve visited your MAC store in the Mission Viejo mall three times over the past 3 months. Two times I was there to buy a gift; yesterday, I wanted a fragrance for myself. I’m a 58 year old grandmother and I don’t wear a lot of make-up. I believe the staff there ignores people who come in and clearly don’t look like the people who work there and wear lots of make-up. No one would wait on me and I stood there for several minutes. This is literally the third time this has happened. One time I had merchandise in my hand, ready to pay and I ended up walking out and going to Sephora for something else. I have lots of teen girls on my shopping list who love MAC, but I told them they are getting Sephora gift cards and can learn to love another brand. Today’s hot topic is racial profiling, but it would appear the MV Mac is more about make-up profiling and I must not look MAC worthy.

I have been a MAC fan for many years; moreover, my niece is one of your specialists. I can’t tell you how surprised and disappointed I was when I learned, over the past couple days, that you have discontinued Pro Long Wear Lipcolour! I spoke with MAC colorists at 2 Nordstrom stores, 3 Macy’s stores and two MAC stores and all told me they had received multiple complaints. Unfortunately, you seemed to have substituted it with a far inferior product. Plus, you have lost me (and 4 of my friends) as customers. Further, I intend to make my feelings known on Facebook.
One would think you would do some customer satisfaction research before retiring a product.
Shame on you!

I have been a shopper of MAC cosmetics at the Dillards Department store at the Countryside Clearwater , Fla. mall for several years. I always purchase lipsticks and an eye brow pencil “Fling”. However, For the past 6 months, every time I go there I am told they do not have the eye brow pencil in stock. I then have to go to the Citrus Park Mall or the International Mall in Tampa and have never had a problem in purchasing the product. They always have it in stock. Unfortunately, going to Tampa is an hour away verses going to Clearwater which is only ten minutes away. Can someone please take the time to find out why the MAC Clearwater location is not getting a delivery (in 6 months). This has been most frustrating for me. I am a cancer survivor (8Years) . My eyebrows never grew back and the MAC Fling eyebrow pencil has been the pencil that works best for me. Anything you can do to explain what is going on at the MAC Clearwater location as regards to delivery of this product will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi! I am apart of the PRO MAC MEMBERSHIP, and i do love your product i havent had any issues with it or with any customer service despite what ive heard . THANK GOD! But i wanted to give a slight suggestion or i guess this can be a question. I have seen that you have been undergoing some changes lately from prices and discounts to non membership card holders which is awesome! Being as though the price of MAC used to be top notch and everyone seemed to be going with lower end companies that are comparable to yours. I noticed that the beauty gurus were getting sent products to
Try out so my question is will MAC MEMBERSHIP card holders be getting that same benefit? I feel like as most of us who have a membership are Makeup Artists we are working daily and closely with clients who always want to know what we use and most importantly how we use it. Just having that benefit will 9/10 times persuade the client to purchase the items. So my question is will that soon become an option for Pro Members? As always thank you for your response and your time! Please feel free to email me at LeannaSeward at gmail.com

Unfortunately, Mac (825 Lexington Ave) doesn’t honor appointments. My 12:15 pm appointment was canceled without prior notice even though I was present 45 minutes before.
The excuses ranged from : your friend was late to her 11 am appointment so we canceled your 12:15 appointment, to we are 1 artist short, and finally to, we had a wedding party come in last minute and accommodated them at 11am.
They finally said the artist I requested may be done at 12:30 to 12:45 pm and could “accommodate” me. The manager was extremely condescending, barely apologizing, and acting as if she was doing me a favor and even had the audacity to suggest I try 86th street studio because it is common for appointments to be mishandled by them. Clearly, I will NOT be returning regardless of how much I liked the makeup artist because of the unprofessionalism and utter disregard to issue a genuine apology.
They’ve lost both corporate & personal accounts due to this unprofessional& deplorable behavior!

I will NEVER order from MAC online again! It’s been nothing but a nightmare! From the site not working and unable to place my order, promotional codes not being applied to my order, being charged incorrect prices (Canada prices) for each item (totaling over $100) to my order not being shipped because three out of 62 items were on backorder, my items being cancelled and reordered and being recharged, not getting my membership benefits and receiving my complementary item, spending over an hour on the phone spanning across four different phone calls to MAC’s customer service regarding all of my issues, and SO much more! I’m waiting to hear back from a Manager because for spending over $400 on one order, I should NOT be going or have to be going through so many issues! They need to compensate me for my time

I renewed my profile card online and was charged twice in emailed and was given the number 18775535536 to call in which I did. I spoke to a very rude customer service agent name is Pascal. Who stated there were no refunds but my pro card would be valid for the next 4 years. I was fine with that and asked her if it would show on my new card she laughed stated yes and next time you renew you need to pay attention. This coming from a women I could barely understand. I asked to speak to her supervisor she refused she stated she didn’t have a last name or employee I’d number then asked why? I explained that I would be contacting Corporate regarding the lack of her customer service skills. She stated why I didn’t do anything to you. I stated there you go again miss and told her to have a wonderful day and closed the call. This call took place at 1:45 pm on 03/18/16. I sure hope someone gets a hold of this rude gal and sends her to some customer service classes. If you don’t like your job quit don’t take it out on your customers. Doesn’t look Good for the MAC brand.

Caitlyn Jenner representing MAC cosmetics!! Really?? What an insult to real women!
I will never use MAC cosmetics again because the thought of her is far from beautiful. I am a 65 year old woman who has cared about my skin and my looks for all my years and as a result I look much younger and feel beautiful. I would never want to look like Caitlyn Jenner in even a small way. And I would never ever use the makeup used by this person. There are lots and lots of real women out there who are 66 years old and older who look beautiful – why do you not use them in your advertising campaigns? Just unbelievable! I will never purchase or read Vogue Magazine again; I will never go into another H&M store again and I will never purchase another MAC cosmetic product again. In fact, I live around the corner from one of your MAC stores in Chicago on Armitage and I would not care if that store closes.

You’re a horrible person. Honestly you disgust me. Have a good day you detestable thoughtless figure of a woman.

My name is Sue and I’ve Bernadette MAC customer for over 15 years. I have seen countless youtubers complaining of their Mac experience honestly mist of them didn’t seem legit of a complaint. Anyways I’ve always received outstanding customer service at every Mac store I’ve been to in California. The one MAC store that stands out the most is the one in Macy’s Serromonte mall in Daly City CA I was helped by a MAC rep named Anthony and let me tell you he provided me with the best customer service I’ve ever had! He was compassionate, a good listener, very informative and friendly! FYI I had no makeup and I’m still overweight after having a baby. I was treated like VIP! Anthony thank you so much for shi@@ing every complaint made against MAC down! #maccustomerforlife

I’ve been a MAC customer for over 20 years and today they told me that my old make up that they sold me from their counters is fake. I have paid full price for their fake make up, this is shocking and upsetting. I would never buy makeup from anywhere other than a MAC counter. They will not accept it as part of the Back to MAC campaign. My love affair with MAC is over I will never buy any more of their make up again.
Susan says
I have used Mac Cosmetics for several years and have love it. However when I think of looking beautiful I look up to women who are beautiful inside and out. I want cosmetics to make a WOMAN feel beautiful and Caitlin Jenner does not fit that criteria. Therefore, the thousands of dollars I would have been spending on Mac cosmetics in the future will be spent on another cosmetic brand. There are so many beautiful women out there worthy of being the face of your company, yet you chose someone who is not a woman which shows your lack of values as a company. If you had chosen a beautiful African American woman, an overweight woman, or a woman of any size or ethnicity I would still buy the cosmetics so don’t bother accusing me of discrimination. I am very disappointed in your company.
Ann Mardon says
I totally agree with Susan and could not have said it better myself. I will never go into the MAC store again. In fact, I live in Chicago, right around the corner from the MAC store on Armitage, and you can be sure I will walk right past that store and stop in the Benefit store instead. I am very disappointed when wonderful small boutiques in our city neighborhood close but I would be very happy to see the MAC cosmetic store leave.
Emily says
Caitlyn Jenner IS a woman!! Your concept of what a woman is is outdated, ignorant, and dehumanizing. MAC has many flaws and f**kery, but I commend their choice to highlight her experience. A transgender woman is not any less of a woman than you are. You obviously have little understanding of gender or sexuality from either a scientific or social perspective.

Over the past 8 months I have been going to the Mac Counter at Lakewood mall in Macy’s trying to get NC45 in Pro Long wear foundation by Mac after the first 2 times of them not having it I became suspicious when they also didn’t have some other colors utilized by women of color so I sent friends. I have now have 8 other people who can validate with their complaints to the EEOC for discrimination against minorities and purposely not carrying the colors in foundation worn by women of color. We have all been back to the same Mac counter in Macy’s at Lakewood several times to test this theory. My complaints will now also go to ktla news, Mac corporate Headquarters, NBC, and many other outlets with our letters of complaints and proof that the Mac Counter at Macy’s at Lakewood Mall will not stock foundations for women of certain color/minorities/african americans. Hope you are prepared.

I went to the Mac small store at the Cerritos Town Center in Cerritos California.
I went to purchase a lip liner. I got the lip liner and I was opening it to make sure the pencil was in good condition due to the fact that that store looks dirty. This employee full of tattoos came took the pencil away from me. He told me “You can’t open the boy and I had to throw this away.” I told him I was going to buy it. He ignore me and walked away. This is not the first time it happen. He is very rude and unprofessional. He didn’t take the time to explain to me in a civil way.
I hope and expect there is a professional customer service. After all it’s because of the customers that the business exist.

Yesterday I purchased over $230 worth of product. This isn’t unusual, I do this either on line or in the store about every three months. Actually this ticket was rather low. I have been a customer over 15 years. The credit card that was saved for purchase did not work (due to being re-issued because of fraud). I was sent an email and told my merchandize would be held for 2 days for payment. I immediately called with another card. I spend over 20 mins on the phone with someone who was completely incapable of receiving new information. I gave her my cc number twice, as well as my address, was told to “hold on” “wait a WHILE” “she was working on it” and “NOPE!” “IT DIDN’T WORK!” only to find out she didn’t take the number correctly. I said I gave it to her twice??? and slowly both times. When I asked for a super she said she was “on the phone” then she was also able to complete my purchase so “I didn’t need to talk to her anyway”. Once I spoke with the super, she said “I am sorry she is new, this is her first day, and you have a wonderful day” Why would either of these people strive to be better? I own and operate a company which is supported by general population. I own an equipment (from hospitals to backhoe) finance company. So I deal with farmers to doctors to Fast Foods to clothing stores, and I have never ran across anyone who cared less. Please tell me corporate america can do better?? Surly the college education required for management in your company is only part of your requirement? That you also require common courtesy as well a bit more training before you put someone so incompetent on the phone to deal with your customers. It was a waste of time, I was frustrated and I will search for another product to use if this complaint goes without recogniition. I am tired of my money meaning nothing and being treated badly. I am important, my purchases to your company last year, paid someone’s salary. Ginger

I purchased two cream eye shadows (Paint Pot). They are virtually un-used and I went to apply them yesterday and the actual product has shrunken inside of the container. This should not be happening with a company of your caliber. I have never even had this happen with the generic dollar brands. Can someone please get back to me and tell me if this is a normal representation of your brand, so that I will know better than to purchase anything Mac in the future? These products are not cheap! I now am stuck with two completely useless cream shadows. I would really like a refund or a replacement please!!!

My cousin and I went to the new mall at Bay Plaza on 8/14/14 to get some cosmetics. My cousin was here on vacation from the Caribbean. She needed some top quality cosmetics because she is news reporter and she need cosmetics that matches her completion perfectly. She had a list of the type of makeup she wanted to test before she purchase them. So we went to the Mac counter at the new Macys in BP, it was the official opening of the mall so we decided to go there around 9pm when it was not that busy. When we got to the Mac counter there was a couple ahead of us who the Mac employee took as very long time with them. The Mac employee who was suppose to help us ,has Red long hair and earring in her upper lip. When we told her what we wanted she said that she was busy and that she would give my cousin a brush and the makeup that she wanted to try so that she can try them herself. I was in shock when she handed my cousin a brush and the makeup because I go to the Mac Store in GCS all the time and they are always polite and helpful. I would like to have the same type of service that I would receive in Manhattan here in the Bronx. I don’t normally write complaint letters but this employee retrained.
