Life Line Screening was founded in Florida, in 1993, by Colin Scully and Timothy Phillips. The company provides community based health screening and testing services for adults.
Demand for the company services became so great that by 1998, more than half a million people had been tested. Rather than pay for testing locations, community sites are used, such as schools, parks, even retirement communities. The company expanded their services to the UK in 2007. Estimates are that more than 8 million people have been screen for various risk factors or problems and that more than 1 million people sign up to be tested worldwide each year.
Clinical studies have been based on client screenings, including one by Oxford University, which conducted research on more than 290,000 vascular screenings between 2008 and 2012. The company currently has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.

I was scheduled for screenings today in Columbia PA and the address in the confirmation was incorrect. When I got there (a firehouse) a worker told me about 10 people had come there before me. I called the 800 number for Lifeline and after a 15 minute hold was given the correct address about 15 minutes away. When I arrived the receptionist told me in a rude manner to sit down she was taking care of someone else. When she finished with that person I approached her desk and again she rudely told me to sit down as someone behind the curtain had to be dealt with. I pointed out to her I was not very happy with Lifeline to which she again rudely told me not to point at her and then a medical technician came out from behind the curtain and told me to shut up and that they were also given the wrong address. No apology at any time; no attempt by them to give any kind of good service, so I told them to forget my screenings and refund my fees. Their response was they cannot do that and to call the 800 number. This time the call put me on hold for 10 minutes and then the operator did actually apologize for the mistake on the address and the rudeness of the staff at the site of the screenings. They said I would have to call back tomorrow (Wednesday July 17) since the days transactions wouldn’t post until then. After this experience I will never use Lifeline again due to the inaccuracy of the address, the rudeness of the two staff members and the hassle getting a refund. They obviously don’t know customer service and could care less.

Your test results do not coincide with my doctors and hospitals test results. Your findings indicated I have significant carotid artery disease in the risk category, my tests came back from my doctor and hospital as NORMAL. A letter to you and BBB and Consumers protection agency and AMA are in the mail.

The number for the corporate office is actually a wireless number that NO ONE will answer.
The other number listed is a FAX number. I have an emergency involving my husband and the doctor needs to test results STAT and the customer service representative who gave her name as RAVEN informed me she would send it to the email team noted as an emergency (only after I requested) because she said it would be 24 hours to a week before we would get it. When I explained the emergency she curtly informed me other people were ahead of us on the email list to get their test results.
Every attempt to call customer service back and corporate gets NO ANSWER. Time for FBook blast ! Thought you people were in the business to save lives!!!!!!!!!!!!

Illegal customer service reps! Told me 1 thing then another. I may have been taken for my $ for tests I ordered then cancelled day after but my credit card amount is frozen & the amount disputed! You need to know 2 Lying customer service reps representing your company doing this in your name ought to be fired! I have the fictitious names, dates & times that I called so you can listen to the calls. Unless credited I will never use your company again. I need a resolve because I cannot afford this loss nor anyone else. Others in my circles are awaiting to see a quick resolve before using your services for the 1st time or repeat time. I tried to call 512-524-2428 but it rang to the end & disconnected. Your 512-524-2042 is a FAX # & shoukd be notated so. Thank You for a response.

On 4/24/18 a $10 refund was deposited in my banking account from Life Line Screening. I regard this as an insult and a joke. I paid $159 for the 5 tests shown on the mail material I received prior to the testing. I DID NOT get the Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm test regardless of what your records say! Nor was I EVER asked about the medication list I was asked to bring. Why? I am returning your “generous” $10 refund. You obviously need it more then I do. I would never, ever recommend anyone take life line screening because you do not deliver on the services you promise. And others taking the tests on the same day as I did also expressed their disappointment.

To bypass the 800-403-6832 number I called 512-524-2428 but alas, a recording came on stating “no one is available to answer your call, please call back later.” Interesting that no one at Corporate answers the telephone. Great customer service although my main interest is in contacting Colin Scully or Timothy Phillips personally to ask how I can be removed from your mailing list. Obviously the company does not understand that RETURN TO SENDER written with red marker on every correspondence you’ve sent me in the past 3 years means I am not interested. Please update your records:
My family does NOT have a history of heart disease or strokes. I will never use Life Line Screening again so please stop wasting money on stamps and mail that will be returned. Thank you, Anna Marie

We found an additional number and posted it on the website. Hopefully it brings better results.
