Last night my husband and I decided to try your Deli in Marina del Rey one more time. It seems that they cannot ever get to go orders correct. I’m not sure why it is so difficult for them. First off, your employee (I believe he is the manager) is so incredibly rude and uninterested, that I am surprised he has a job working with the public. He obviously hates what his job and hates all of your customers. He wasn’t wearing a name badge, but he is the heavy set African-American man.
Our order was simple: 1 bowl of matzo ball soup, 1 cup of chicken noodle soup with white meat chicken only and 1/2 pound of hot brisket cut thick. My husband said he didn’t care if he only got 2 or 3 slices, but he wanted it thick.
Well, the matzo ball soup was the only correct item. The cup of chicken noodle soup had dark meat in it and the brisket was almost shaved it was so thin. Then when we called back to complain, your same employee argued with us that he gave us just what we asked for. Your food is WAY TOO EXPENSIVE to constantly be wrong and for your employees to be so rude. You have seen the last of us. We’re hoping with the impending remodel of the center you are in, you are replaced with a new deli that has friendly employees, great service and reasonably priced food that is correct the first time. Thank you for you time.
