In-N-Out Burgers was founded in 1948 by Harry and Esther Snyder in Baldwin Park, California. This restaurant was the first drive-through restaurant in California, taking orders over a speaker system. This was a unique idea at the time when most restaurants were drive-up and park, with bellhops taking customer orders.
The restaurant chain remains family owned, with the Snyder’s granddaughter being named CEO. In-N-Out Burgers has slowly expanded over the years. Today, the company has 358 locations in 7 states and Mexico. In-N-Out Burgers had $575 million in revenue in 2017.
In-N-Out Burgers is known for paying its employees more than minimum wage, as well as offering a wide variety of high quality and unusual burgers. One such burger is called Animal Style, which includes mustard grilled patties, extra pickles, and extra Thousand Island dressing.
That same month, the company was forced to stop allowing diners to eat indoors in San Francisco, California, for the same reason listed above.
In April 2023, the company maintained its expansion plans and opened new locations in Tennessee.
In-N-Out Burger maintains a corporate office in Irvine, California.

This is not the first time I had a bad experience at the In and Out drive in Roseville Ca on Fairway Dr.
I bought 2 double double with onions and spread only, well done, put the lettuce and tomatoes on the side in another bag and 2 large fries and 1 large coke.
When I got home the meat was still frozen in the middle, still pink, lettuce and tomatoes were soaking wet, which made the burgers wet of course and the fries were all scattered into the same bad as the burgers, as if it went through a washing machine cycle.
The coke was all carbonated water.
This is so unacceptable, I want my money back! And I will never go back to that location because they did me wrong a few times.
There is no quality in the product. My money is worth more than just a bag of trash!
Also the employees are always talking and goofing around, the only serious workers are the people in grill station everyone else just was not taking their job seriously.

In-N-Out Burger
4597 N Central Park Blvd
Denver, CO 80238
Ordered via Drive-thru:
1 cheeseburger with onions meal deal, Large Dr. Pepper
1 double double cheeseburger no onions meal deal, Large Strawberry shake
Time and Date:
5:10 PM on Saturday, May 13th., 2023
Burgers were drenched in a strange flavorless runny sauce, which made the burger just fall apart when trying to eat it.
Fries were cold, short undercooked with black spots on some of them.
Dr. Pepper was packed with ice so it was watered down and tasteless. It’s obvious the amount of ice and beverage machine settings are wrong.
Should call a large Strawberry Shake a Medium since it was served in a medium cup. Very confusing!
This was a disappointing visit to this location. Wendy’s is just down the street, this would’ve been a much better choice! I just don’t get it…see photo!

As a family of 5 that regularly dines at In-N-Out, we disappointedly walked out yesterday of your Newbury Park, CA location. We were discriminated against for the first time dining there since the start of the realization the mask suggestion is political. We had not worn a mask and had never been discriminated against because of it after dining in several in n outs throughout Nevada and California as far back as mid 2020. However, your employee refused service regardless of whether or not we may have been medically or religiously unable to wear it even to 3 small children. You claim to be a faith based business owner. This does not reflect such. You should take the time to learn the facts as provided to all citizens from Peggy Hall thehealthyamerican.org and educate your staff on same. We will not support you due to this one staff member, going forward. If you won’t stand up against tyranny as a Faith based business. You are not worthy of our support.

On Saturday August 17th 2019 @ 4:50 pm Oakland location near the Airport. We parked our rental car in front of the door, entered the restaurant, person was ahead of us. We placed our order, as soon as I made my drink an employee came inside and advised another employee to call the police a car had been burglarized. It was my car and two other vehicles had the windows smashed – purses, backpacks and other items stolen. According to In & Out employees, Rental Car employees, Yelp and local residents this is a regular occurrence for this location. Police were no help, as we were told to file a Police Report online. ARMED SECURITY IS NEEDED. This is negligence. Some one is going to get hurt. I am going to seek Legal Action.

Hello corporate folks,. Just wanted to thank you for the worse experience ever at an in n out since I’ve been a loyal double double eating customer since the little old store in Ludlow CA. So over 50 years . Nobody there probably even old enough to remember you waited an hour just to get off the freeway ramp to enjoy a delicious meal. AND GUESS WHAT?? It took only 1 count them 1, Nasty rude argumentive unprofessional wannabe MGR at your Laughlin Nv store to kiss you all GOODBYE!! Gee whiz, maybe that’s why you all just got bumped by of all things a chicken stand. SERIOUSLY!! So here’s a tiny clue why just maybe you could be losing customers .. Try this ,,, When somebody, lets call them a “CUSTOMER” , returns some less then acceptable fries to the counter. the Manager should try saying Now here’s the hard part,, , “LET ME GET YOU SOME FRESH ONES SIR”.! And smile and DO IT. Without arguing about the lousy quality of the potatoes as I can CLEARLY SEE , beautiful golden fries in other baskets . The type I am accustom to buying from your stores. I didnt get her name but she did return with fresh fries after I pushed them towards her and said JUST KEEP THEM. She asked if they were better. I replied of course they are, why didn’t you just offer me some different ones to begin with instead you wanted to argue about FREKIN POTATOE QUALITY.. Her reply “I didn’t argue with you” My reply YOU ARE RIGHT NOW!! What is wrong with you??? She asked well how was the burgers? I replied EVERYTHING WAS ABSOUTLY EXCELLENT EXCEPT YOU AND THE WAY YOU HANDLED MY COMPLAINT. She smiled and offered a free hamburger card. Really?? Is that your FIX ALL FOR SUBSTANDARD MANAGEMENT? And ! card? There were 2 of us who had a lousy experience. What can I say? There is the reason you folks are moving down. You high priced corporate folks should get out of your comfy offices and actually visit your FAILING STORES. And by failing,I don’t mean $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ I mean losing lifelong customers due to .025 French fries. I hope you folks get it. if not, I guess ill try a CHICK FILET. Never have ,BUT I WILL NOW. Thanks. Richard Hillebrandt. ( former customer). Good Day.

Dear Corporate Office,
Just wanted to thank you for sending your trailer out yesterday to serve lunch to our first responders and hospital staff in Ridgecrest/China Lake Naval Air Weapons Station.
After the devastating 6.4 and 7.1 magnitude earthquakes and numerous aftershocks, the entire workforce was completely surprised/elated to see the In-N-Out logo in our community.
After two weeks of response, recovery and clean up, it was refreshing to take a little break and enjoy an outstanding cheeseburger!
Kudos to your team for making this happen and job well done!

We definitely need an In N Out in the Longview/Kelso Washington area. So tired of the other fast food places. As it stands now, we have to drive over five hours to the one in Medford Oregon, which we have done. We believe it would go over fantastically, I know we sure would be there .
Thank you

My family has enjoyed your burgers for many years. We have never had a bad experience with the exception of our most recent visit. My wife and I stopped at your Manteca restaurant on Monday, April 8, at about 6:00 pm for a quick burger as we were headed to a meeting. Both of our burgers were not very good. Strange taste and the appearance of the meat looked different ( kind of gray) color. We were disappointed, shocked and could not finish our meals.
This email is being sent for information only and we probably should have informed the on duty manager as I’m sure he/she would have appreciated being informed.
Thank you,

which i think are taken care of by employers like when someone has ways of getting jobs like a dishwasher or a person is into simpler paper filing i think the employer makes
the necessary adjustments and hires simpler. things like these ways i think are taken care of by employers. i think the employer hires simpler when they find people are
like this like people with amish beliefs and things. this is to try to have you help better in hiring maybe. thanks. i think an employer does these things and helps people
with these ways if the employer comes across something like this, like a person with simpler ways in doing things and finding a job and the jobs they choose. my education is
good enough for these jobs also i think. dishwashing and housecleaning jobs dont take much to hire i think. i am asking that you look at this to try to hire better and maybe
do your job if it is your job.

possible.

it comes to employment. i think employers recognize religious ways and things like that.i ask that you do things simple like what you see in this resume
with examples and all. i think its pretty easy and stuff.
EXAMPLE NOTE FOR EMPLOYER:i think an application for a simple person with ways that are simpler looks something like the example below. i think like amish people
that are accomodated for there ways that employers do the same for similar people.could you please look into your job maybe more and make
necessary adjustments. i think it has to do with accomodating something like religion or something.
example of stuff on an application for someone with simpler ways below
name should be on this
date of birth should be on this
small amount of work history on this
high school completed since jobs looking for only require this amount or less education
if you have birth certificate. birth certificate tells if you should be working in us if you have this i think
current address your living at on application
work interested should be on this maybe.i think knowledge that you are looking for simple work is enough like the job applying for.
i also believe that you should respect people that are private however you do that.
ANOTHER NOTE FOR EMPLOYER:i think that having a birth certificate history and brief work history like knowledge of where you were working
in life and high school history like just someone telling you there principal or them telling you where they attended high school is enough
for someone to have a job and be alright to be working with people, maybe its enough to be trusted or something. i think knowing someones
birth stuff is enough pretty much to work in the u.s. thats all the stuff you need pretty much to gain employment. stuff like work history
and things like that. i dont think its too difficult to hire or something. please make sure you understand this. i dont think you need much of
this and the rest can be looked up since people cant remember everything.there are simple application process examples that you can look at with transcription
sites if you need to see this so you can help with simple hiring. i think its pretty easy to see this stuff.sites like transcribe me and other sites like those are
sites you can look at for easy hiring examples.also like a simple application process you can look at how you get a library card or other simple application processes like
that for help in what i need for hiring.if you do a simple application process I think I can be easily employed.

Diane Rose Ministries/The Totally Blind Quilter 254-799-7990
I am writing to ask you for financial support in building a dwelling place of operation in Branson, MO.
I am totally blind and live on a limited income. I am the only known totally blind quilter and would like to provide a place to teach the elderly and those who have different physical limitations in learning how to quilt, sew, and daily living skills.
I have chosen Branson because I believe my ministry would be successful there with the demographic that lives and visits there. I have been blessed with some assistance in receiving a plot of land and would now like to start the next phase in the project by building a home and ministry headquarters but need funds to do so.
Diane Rose Ministries has almost completed the process with the Internal Revenue Service to establish the ministry as a 501(c)(3) so your contribution will be tax deductible.
The home needs a large sewing room for classes, office space for my ministry, storage for supplies, and specialized security equipment for my safety.
Please see my web page to see my creations at

I have been honored to make quilts for President and Mrs. George W. Bush, David and Joyce Meyers, Dolly Parton, Ralph Emery, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Roy Clark, and many others.
Thank you for your consideration.

For your information, today January 15, 2017, at 1:30 pm, I pass by In N Out Burger on Foothill Blvd., Pasadena and I ordered a double double cheeseburger, a rootbeer and frys and I request if I could have 2 extra spread and I was told to a\sk the server. A black lady server hand me my order and I requested for two spread and I check if the items I ordered are correct and if I was given the 2 extra spread which I am willing to pay extra if needed.I found out that only one spread was in the box and when I look for the server, I saw her looking at me inside and I said ” I need one more spread, she angrily slap on my hand the second spread, with such rude reaction from the black lady server, I left and drive home. Never mind the two blocks wait, but to get a rude reaction and attitude, I believe it is not acceptable for any customers of your’s to be treated that way as her reaction is discriminatory.. I believe said black lady server should be thought and be trained properly as to how to handle customers. Thank you.
Professor Gordini says
Dear Miss C. Rosello,
I believe it is you who should be trained properly in the art of writing. Your Grammar is poor at best and you don’t deserve two spreads.
travis C says
Thank you Professor, My sentiments exactly. The most wonderful thought of most of my days is that Lynsi Snyder has vowed to never Franchise or take “In N Out” public. For me, knowing I can get that Berg and that taste, forever…is a beautiful thing.
Shar Silva says
Why would you even mention that the server is black. Sounds racist to me. In addition, you need grammar lessons.
Susan says
A question mark belongs after “black”, because it’s a question. YOU need grammar lessons.
