Hobee’s Restaurant was founded in Mountain View, California, in 1974 by Paul Tabor. Tabor wanted to begin a restaurant that was unique by offering alternatives to the usual coffee, soda, and hamburgers. The original name of the company was Hobee’s Haven. The original building, a former Dairy Belle, had no tables, and only offered take out ordered from two windows.
Today, Hobee’s is known for its unique food items, including tofu burgers, cinnamon tea, blueberry coffee cake baked fresh at each location, eggs from local free range hens, and a gluten free menu.

We have a major complaint about your mountain view franchise at central express way and rengstorff. we had to wait 53 minutes!!! to get a kids quesadilla and 2 more quesadillas and 1 piece of chicken while people came after us could get burgers. i had to go and argue with the manager to get our food after waiting for almost an hour! please teach your managers to Inform their customers if they make them wait for simple foods! this is so bad that hobees gets such bad management.manager Melissa and waiter Elena
