Hello…I am writing to express a concern with my latest purchase. The order # is 00655744. I am not a new customer to Henri Bendel. I love the handbags and accessories the brand has to offer. Since my first order, I was in love w/ the whole experience of opening my package that comes UPS since I have never been in actual HB store. The box is striped on the inside and each product is individually wrapped with tissue paper and sealed w/ a sticker. I once received a gift card that came in its own striped boxed. UNTIL my last purchase. I opened the box to see nothing but a handbag wrapped in white paper and Styrofoam. There wasn’t even a dust bag for my $300 handbag. I was utterly disappointed…my experience ruined and what could be done…nothing! I could not get that experience back. I called to ask if the shipping policy changed and if the handbags still came with a dust bag. She said that yes they did but they were out of them. There was no mention of this in my box…nothing. She said one would come to me in 5-7 business days. A day later I was still upset. So, I called to speak w/ a manager…the customer service person who answered the phone said she was a floor supervisor…I did not completely believe that. I explained the situation and she said she would pass it along to the shipping dept. and she apologized. WOW! This is the worst customer service experience that I have had w/ HB. I’m not sure what I expected but this was a total let down to where I contemplated returning my purchase. I mean my gift card was wrapped more beautifully than the product. I felt like neither one of the representatives really listened to me or tried to understand my disappointment. The person in charge of packaging my product had taken away the luxurious experience that I was waiting for. I am hoping that someone will read this and understand that when I buy a Bendel bag it is not just for the beautiful handbag but for everything that comes with it. No one took the time to make sure that my package came to me in the way that it was designed to arrive to me. What a let down! Thank you for reading this. I would love to know how someone could drop the ball so bad that my beautiful handbag came to me with white packing paper and Styrofoam…it’s as if my order was just overlooked and shipped without any care or concern to how I received it. This is just not sitting well with me and at this time, I am unsure I will ever purchase a product from HB again. Thank you!
