Gregg’s Restaurant was founded in 1972 in Warwick, Rhode Island by husband and wife team Bob and Bobbie Bacon. The company operates a chain of casual American food restaurants.
The restaurants serve the usual sandwiches, soups, salads, and chowder, but desserts were hand made by Bobbie. The restaurant expanded to 4 locations by 1993. The original location had to be expanded for a take out counter, and a display case just for desserts. All locations served beer and wine and, after a few years, were expanded to add a “pub” style setting, which allowed customers to consume alcohol in a more friendly environment.
In march of 2015, the company expanded with a “tavern” next door to the original restaurant. Gregg’s Restaurants are still owned by the Bacon family and headquarters are located in East Greenwich, Rhode Island.

Well I must say I was in your Greggs Restaurant Warwick.. I have been a regular customer there and always had a waitress called Melinda Ute…Was shocked to find out you fired her and as far as I am concern you have no consideration for your workers… also understand you are the son that took over…your father should see how things are there now…I always told friends and family to ask for her because she is as far as I am concerned the best…and now tell them what happened…no more Greggs.
