GoPro I have had the worst customer service manager ever this gentleman by the name of Rai started by telling me that the call would be recoded and I please ask you to listen to this call. First he told me that he doesn’t know if my go pro hero 4 silver he stated that he was under the impressing that it is a second hand Camara. Then he proceeded to tell me that maybe the previous representative are to exited to replace the cámara for you. Then I told him that I use to work for AT&T and he said that now he understands why I’m acting the way I’m acting because AT&T gives credits to customers when they get upset, and I was actually going to tell him that the customer is right until the lose their compulsion. To top it all off he told me that he is not there to please me that he is straight forward. He also said that the previous representative wrote that I was shouting at him when I only said that I have been waiting for a manager call back for hours so pleas if you may listen to that call also. I know that my hero 4 is no longer under warranty but it was when the case was open and I did everything I was told to do even got a new memory card. Now the hero 7 has the same issue and yet again the company is still making it hard for me to get it replace and after hours of me being on the phone I’m now told that they can’t ship the cámara to Puerto Rico and if I have a friend in the us to ship it to. Please I ask for someone to hear this call and do not allow for any other person to be treated this way. Thank you in advance for all your assistance.

I bought a GoPro Hero 9 just to record my sons baseball games and make recruiting videos and this camera is a piece of crap, I’m so mad at myself for buying it. I can not upload videos to the service I’m paying for!!!!!! IT does not do auto upload like it is programed to do, the video from my phone will not upload to the cloud and your customer service is HORRIBLE, the people you have working for you don’t know anything, I am constantly being put on hold so they can ” go discuss with their group associates”. I seen 2 hour and 9min on hold the other day and am on another call and am on hold again!!! the word FRUSTRATED does not even convey what I feel right now. I’m thinking of contacting the better business bureau because this product is terrible along with the customer support, of which there is none!! What a waste of time and money!

I could not be more disappointed in your customer service if I tried. I am so angry that I want to make a full-on video trashing your completely inept customer support. You guys really screwed up and it is costing me a job.
I first contacted you last Tuesday about a scratched lens issue on my GoPro Max on ticket# 11341070. I was told by a number of your agents during a number of contacts over a 3 day period exactly what I needed to do to get a replacement camera sent to me overnight as I was shooting an event in Daytona, FL for a company called Behind Daytona. The event is Bike Week and lasts from 03/04 – 03/12.
I was told that if I sent out the damaged camera and submitted a copy of the shipping receipt, the replacement would be sent overnight so I would have it for my work. THAT WAS A LIE TOLD OVER AND OVER!!
If you had just once told me I would not get the replacement in time, I would have kept the camera I sent back, (per your team’s instructions) until after the event and worked around the issue with the damaged one. Instead, I followed your team’s instructions, sent out my camera and the one you are sending me is not coming until Wednesday 03/16, which is after the event and I will be losing much-needed work and the possibility of future work from this employer. I can not believe I was stupid enough to trust your customer support over and over as each agent assured me I would get the replacement in time and even promised to have a supervisor call me on 03/11 at 7:30 PM, but nobody ever did.
The lack of honesty and complete mishandling of my situation makes me question whether I will ever invest another penny in GoPro products.
After speaking with a completely useless supervisor, I understand why so many of the agents I dealt with are completely inept. He was worse than any of them.
You have really screwed up this situation and possibly my work in this town. I am very angry.

Don’t know who I need to speak to about this. But recently I purchased a GoPro had it for only a week before the terrible quality of the mount let lose and caused my GoPro hero session to become lost!! I filed a claim, but haven’t been contacted on what I can get back from this horrible purchase I spent roughly $340.00 on this GoPro alone for a surf trip and the mount was on correctly i triple checked and have helped a variety of other GoPro owners mount their gopros but for some reason the equipment just came released during a 1ft surf session. People surf 20ft waves with this GoPro and the same mount. Can’t believe I spent 340.00 dollars on a item that would just completely fail and it didn’t save any of my images/videos during my trip because the app was having problems saving to my phone. Complete waste of money, I wish I could at least get something back from this, because it was gopros fault and not mine!!

Hello Nick Woodman, Did you ever think about having your own flying craft? I am working on Project Lake Hopper. The lake Hopper does no have exterior rotor blades. The Lake Hopper is a VTOL flying craft that can land on water or land. A prototype 40″ in Diameter, would cost $100,000 to engineer and fabricate. I am DISGUSTED with the way I am being treated by your over seas calling center. I need someone the speaks English to CALL me or EMAIL me ASAP. I have purchased thousands of dollars in your merchandise and I wish I could take it all back. I rely on your camera for school, hobbies, and my business. And I was wrongfully treated and you are currently in possession of one of my cameras and NO ONE WILL GET BACK TO ME about returning it to me. I had to buy a new one just so I could have a camera for work. STILL HAVENT HEARD FROM THE GUY ON MY CASE THAT IS SUPPOSEED TO BE SENDING IT BACK.

I have been researching GoPro cameras and drones for a company order. We were going to purchase 16 to start. With all the bad discussions there is no way. If there is one thing that is a pet peeve of mine it’s a company that you can’t contact, and it does not give a damn, because dumb fools buy the product anyway. And then it outsources its support, with no recourse. That is what gives American companies a bad name!

Issue #1: None of this will work once the defective cameras fail…they simply do not workl!!! I am on the 3rd camera and it too locks up and will not respond, the battery has to die, wait for it to recharge, then it starts and immediately locks up ..FAIL FAIL FAIL, defective junk is what it is!!
Issue #2: GoPro does not have a single customer service/technical service/sales support person that is “employed” by GoPro LLC.
GoPro uses “offshore services” so they can keep costs down by paying a contractor to take these calls AND to keep the issues and lack of customer service at arms length from the corporate offices. Have you ever tried to call and actually get a person on the phone with GoPro LLC aka:corporate offices? I have and I can tell you this, from the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman: Nicholas Woodman, the Chief Operating Officer: Charles “CJ” Prober, the Vice President of Sales Operations: Kristin Markworth, all the way down to project directors…NONE of them will answer a call or a message I have left! This by design, so they dont have to deal with the peasants! They do not even have a human operator…really go ahead and call their number..(650) 332-7600 and see for yourself….this company is run like some cheap fly-by-night bunch of scammers, basically the organization is rife with carpetbaggers!! (persons perceived as an unscrupulous opportunists) …yeah that would certainly fit GoPro perfectly!! If anyone from GoPro LLC proper would dare to come out of their caves and see some daylight, I will gladly speak to them on the phone, in person, or maybe …just maybe (Gaaaasp) even by email!! But that would be a miracle wouldn’t I wont hold my breath waiting to see….because unlike what you stated, GoPro is NOT working with me….you drooling drone…I DO NOT HAVE A WORKING PRODUCT!!!

The last time I went to use it, it wouldn’t turn on at all, opened the battery compartment to find water inside!! It’s ruined!!! There is no email address I can find anywhere, and despite 3 phone calls and hours on hold, I can not get anyone to answer the phone. I will be telling everyone I know and posting on my travel blog to advise NO ONE to purchase a GOPRO!! Spend your money on a company that cares.

Have a hero 3 black that I have used about a dozen times, that took video and played back just fine. I called customer service/tech support because I could not get my camera to function with my smart phone. They walked me through their process to update the software now the camera will not power up. I’m unable to use this camera anymore. Did everything that they asked, took pictures and sent them back to customer service. The next day I heard back from Robin whom stated that my camera was out of warranty and I could purchase another camera@ 40% off. I responded back that was unacceptable since it was their fault that the camera will not work now because I followed their instructions for the update. I had purchased several items to support the camera, ie; mounts, back screen, head and chest harness, which is more than the discount for a new camera. This camera was well cared for and doesn’t work because of something that their customer service/tech support caused. If this problem is not resolved soon, to my satisfaction I will be contacting the BBB and any other agencies that are appropriate. Time for GoPro to step up and do what is right.

bought a refurbished gopro 4 silver at GoPro website. it’s certified refurbished gopro. when i received it it has a loose charging port. it’s not even a day i had it. i sent it back and when i received it it has a note saying warranty replacement. guess what – they sent me the exact unit i sent. i specifically told them i do not want it baxk as i do need a replacement unit. what kind of customer service does gopro has. the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE i have received. Amazon is way better and miles away from gopro’s customer service. i now know the reason why it’s going downhill. customer service is bad and products are outdated. i expect a little better from an US company. is this what GOPRO stands for – bad product – they’re selling malfunctioning refurbished unit and bad customer service. at least GOPRO is constatntly BAD.

over a year ago i purchased a go pro 4 silver (now out of warranty) recently the screen has started freezing, i formatted the sd card, reset the camera to factory settings also did a hard reset which didn’t help.
i contacted the support team where they told me it could be the card itself so i purchased an sd card from the recommended list (camera still freezes) also followed all the trouble shooting steps given by the support team (twice).
non of this worked and i am still stuck with an expensive camera that freezes (which i now call a paperweight) for a few months i looked on the internet for a solution which i couldn’t find and anything i did try didn’t work.
which brings us to today (28/12/16)
today i phoned the support team again and was asked all the same questions and asked to try all the same solutions which is very frustrating, i told the lady i had tried everything and more, then she asked me to do it all again twice more but film it so she can see what i did and what the solution was. this was getting me even more frustrated as it seems i was being called a liar or incapable of following instructions.
i asked the lady if i could just send the camera back and pay to have it fixed or refurbished.
she asked when i bought it and did i have a receipt to which i said i bought it in canada (i am now in the uk) and i know it is not under warranty any more to which she said that they don’t have anywhere that repair the cameras.
i find it hard to believe that a company this size does not have a repair centre.
i am also disgusted with the support offering me a discount on another go pro, why would i buy another of these substandard products which will no doubtably fail in a little over 12 months time when they can’t even offer a solution for the paperweight i already have?!?!?!?!
i will not be recommending go pro to anybody and i would strongly discourage anybody that thinks about buying one!

The page on your website that registers products has an error 404.
I called a month ago when we tried to register a wifi backpack and remote and couldn’t. Customer support said they’re ‘working on it’. That was a month ago. We can’t pair the bacpac and remote to the camera unless we update the firmware, ant to do that we need to register the products. I called again today and they’re still working on it. What’s going on GoPro? Please fix this issue so we can enjoy our camera. Thanks.
