No matter which one you go to they all stink. I always ask for the same thing 3 cheese coneys no onion. Heavy mustard, heavy chili, heavy cheese. They charge me extra and I am like ok where is my extra that I just paid for?!?!? A cheese coney without the extra should be so messy you can not eat one and drive your vehicle at the same time. I get all the extra and can still drive my vehicle and not have to even use a napkin!!!! The workers all have terrible attitudes.

Gotta love it.
My bride was treating me to Gold Star Chili since she was up North today. She ordered me cheese coneys with onions and asked that the ingredients be packed separately. When she got home, I was all excited. Opened the package and found all ingredients, except for the CHILI!
Oh well, I’ll open a can of Skyline and use it!
*******Update to the GOLD STAR CHILI conundrum. She had purchased cheese coney’s for me and asked for all ingredients to be packed separately. When I opened the bag after she got home, there was hot dogs on buns, cheese, onions, hot sauce, mustard, but NO CHILI!
She had informed the young man that she had an hours drive home, so the reason for separate packaging.
Mary called the RICHWOOD location where she bought the coney’s for me and they refused to make her order good, without a receipt and order that they put in the bag.
PLEASE DON’T PATRONIZE THE RICHWOOD LOCATION OF GOLD STAR CHILI!

SAT AT THE TAKE HOME SPEAKER TO ORDER SAT THERE FOR 15 MINS.ASKED IF ANYBODY THERE.NO ANSWER.SO DROVE TO TAKE OUT WINDOW .CAR IN FRONT OF US SAT THERE FOR 10 MINS. SO LEFT THERE AND WENT IN SIDE .SAT THERE FOR AT LEAST FOR 15 MINS . NO CLEAN TABLES .HAD TO SIT AT A DIRTY TABLE.WAITRESS CLEANED TABLE WITH BLEACH WATER. I KNOW THAT’S RIGHT. BUT WATER ALMOST RAN OFF TABLE.THEN IT TOOK ANOTHER 10 MINS. TO GET FOOD. THIS IS UNCALLED FOR. PLUS THIS WAS NOT THE FIRST TIME THIS HAPPENED.PROBABLY WON’T GO BACK AGAIN.STORE IS AT 942 CHERRY ST. We ate at Gold Star Chili today 12/20/2017. I purchase 30.00 in gift cards and understood I was suppose to get a 5.00 bonus card. The lady said I had to purchase 25.00 ones in order to get the 5.00 bonus. The ad says you have to purchase 25.00 In gift cards in order to get a 5.00 bonus one it does not say you have to purchase 25.00 one. If this is the case then you need to make your ad more clearly.

At Erlanger location on Kenton Lands Rd. I had to repeat order three times, then corrected her because total was too much. NEVER DID GET WHAT I HAD ORDERED 🙂 When I returned with incorrect order they just shrugged it off as everyone makes mistakes. I could accept one thing but not the whole order being WRONG but not that I had the right to be upset!!! They upped salad to full size but gave me the WRONG salad dressing. Oh the first time NO FORK OR SALAD DRESSING IN THE DRIVE THRU ORDER 🙂 I usually order from this site about once a week. NO MORE!!!!

We stopped at the Monroe, Oh., Gold Star Oh US 63 and placed a takeout order for $33.00. This is the last time we will ever ever go to a Gold Star. The staff was actually rude. We asked for a small cup of water to take some medication and were told it would be $.50. I said we just spent $33 and why charge us $.50 for water. The manager became obnoxious and said “I don’t make the rules here.” I have been in customer service for 25 years and would never treat a customer like this. This the only fast food place where I have been asked to pay for a small cup of water. It is the principle and the attitude of the staff. There is other competition and I will be taking my future orders to them. Goodbye Gold Star……

We visited one of your stores on Dec. 30 around 4pm in Monroe,Oh. We stopped there because it is close to the Outlet Shopping Mall. We stopped by early around October so we returned because the kids liked it. The managetvwas very ride and had an attitude. I went back in and told him of our bad experience and he became very offended I went on to tell him he needs to be a little more friendly he said he dosent have to be and then me to leave this is private property and he will call the police. I never had such an awful experience and didnt realize I was dealing with a MENTAL person
Anyway I will never be back. I work for the Railroad and I travel all the time. I’ve made sure that every person I come across of my experience and to never go to GOLDSTAR. I am surevrhis email will go unnoticed and nothing will be done about it.
