I had the same horrible experience by a tech support person proclaiming to be from Garmin to up date maps on my GPS. Transferred me to a site called Ultra View that basically gave him access to my computer. I was on your official website when chat person came on, (which I now understand is a Bot) to help me through the process. The person did not tell me they were taking me to another web site. I find it irresponsible that Garmin allows advertisers on they site for a paid fee that has nothing to do with their company . These companies call and indicate they are Garmin reps and are scammers. I had to lock all my financials, as I was locked out of my computer for several hours.
Shame on you for providing a platform on your website for scammers for profit.

Where can I get service for a Garmain GPS 50? It is old but it was reliable. When I press the power up key it fails to light up even though there is power at the battery pack contact.
I too got ripped off of $120.00 by a tech support company that Garmins customer service representative transferred me too.
They put a webroot and updated Garmin and it make computer die. Now I have no co.puter, no updated GPS device which I paid for the lifetime maps two years ago.
I want a total refund of the $120.00 and cost to repair my computer.

I got ripped off by someone saying they work for Garmin and said they needed to install drivers on my computer it would cost me 100 and some dollars. I could tell they were India people. Now they keep calling me to try to sell me something else..Thats how I figured out something was not right. So I called your corp. office and told it is a scam. This is the phone number they are calling from 18006461388. I am also reporting to fraud Co.
I would like to know what I need to do to get a correction made on the GPS system.
Our organization is located at the Liberty Elementary School / Liberty Recreation and Technology Center. We are located at 3901 Maine Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21207. When mobility, cab drivers and other drivers use the GPS system they are taken to the Forest Park side of the school in stead of the street that the main entrance is on. It causes major problems when our volunteers or students or clients use mobility. We have a small parking lot that is difficult to negotiate. Because there are so many one way streets surrounding the school drivers get lost an wind up going around in circles. We have one blind parent who’s travel time and transportation cost are increased because of the mix up.

I talked with one of your people today to one of your people today to update my gps and it was a horrible experience. I would like to talk to someone about this as I don’t think you would want someone like this to represent you company. My number is 256 476 XXXX
