Frontier City was founded in 1958 along what was originally Route 66 by businessmen James Burge and Jack Williams . The park began with a “haunted” farm, mine trails, and bandits. The farm was free, but the gunfight show cost 25 cents.
Today the park has 25 rides, including 3 water rides and 5 roller coasters. With the closure of Bell’s Amusement Park in 2006, Frontier City is the only amusement park left in Okalahoma. The park sits on 55 acres and new attractions are generally added each year. In 2017, plans include a new water ride, a complete overhaul of the Wildcat roller coaster, and a new show featuring music from the 1950’s through the 1970’s will be added.
Frontier City was acquired in late 2016 by EPR Properties for $312 million.

I am with Boxel Mfg and we have a portable ICE AIR cooling unit that we believe would be beneficial for your patrons and workers. The intention of this email is to hopefully be routed to and connected with the correct department in the hopes of presenting a demonstration of our cooling unit. This unit is not a swamp cooler and outperforms anything on the market today providing cool outside air.
Thank you for your time in this matter and we hope to be hearing from you in the near future.

We had gone out to frontier city fright fest for my daughter’s bday. Paid over a $100. Most of the rides were closed down. My kids did wait in line for bumper cars about 45min. My son got a car that once everyone started driving his wouldn’t work. The guy said this one most of went down too and put a cone in it pushed it to side. Didn’t offer him to ride for next round. Waited all that time for a broken car. It was just a horrible experience. Waste of money to go out there and most rides shut down or not working.

At one time the park had a Frisco Business Car #100-once owned by Jack Williams-
I purchased the car from Jack Williams and then sold it back to him to be moved back to park site.
Is that Railroad Business Car still on park site? Is it used?
I have many books and car items including the Gold leaf for sides of car.
Now retired in Natchez Mississippi-would love to hear from you-
Respectfully

My daughter left her Disney Hat and sunglasses (which she paid for herself with her own money, who happens to be 8 years old) out at the park while on vacation and once we notice it, the park was closed and we left to come back home way before the park open. Once home, I called to see if they would send it back to me in the mail if I were to pay for shipping and handling. I was told NO in a very RUDE Tone and matter. Then I asked to speak with someone over the young lady’s supervisor and was told that she’s busy and can’t come to the phone. Then I informed the young lady that I would be contacting the CEO or whoever is over the park and she hung up on me. Not a very happy customer nor has a very happy 8-year-old daughter.
