Today Forest Laboratories develops and manufactures such drugs as Namenda for Alzheimer’s, Savella for fibromyalgia, Lexapro the antidepressant, Bystolic for hypertension, as well as generic and OTC (over-the-counter) drugs.
Until 2014 Forest was publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol FRX. In 2014 the company was acquired by Actavis in a $25 billion deal.

I was prescribed lexapro for depression and within ten days developed tinnitus, I stopped taking the drug and I am still suffering months later. I would never have even considered using this medication if I knew this could happen, it is horrible. I can’t sleep or concentrate at all and from the large number of people online complaining of this side effect it hardly seems rare. That drug should be taken off the market. The ringing is very loud and causing me a great deal of anxiety and stress.
Dear Forest,-My druggist is giving me 60mg. made by another company and 15mg.made by Forest-since you sold the company are they giving me older forest products?Plus if I have a compound drugstore make my Armour-can they have the original formula from you?
