Lightfoot Restaurant Corporate Office

Lightfoot Restaurant was founded in 1999 by sisters Ingrid Gustavson and Carrie Gustavson Whitmer in Leesburg, Virginia. The company operates an upscale restaurant in the historic area of downtown Leesburg.

The restaurant is located in an 1888 historic building, which once was the People’s National Bank. The owners completely remodeled the building, restoring it to its former turn of the century beauty, and created a 300 seat restaurant, which offers upscale eating for lunch and dinner. The basement was turned into a wine cellar, the old vault is now a restroom. Ingrid is the head chef and Carrie is acting manager.

Lightfoot Restaurant employs approximately 40 persons and had an estimated annual revenue in 2015 of $500,00. The restaurant serves a contemporary American style menu including salads, filet mingon, and seafood.

Gregg’s Restaurant Corporate Office

Gregg’s Restaurant was founded in 1972 in Warwick, Rhode Island by husband and wife team Bob and Bobbie Bacon. The company operates a chain of casual American food restaurants.

The restaurants serve the usual sandwiches, soups, salads, and chowder, but desserts were hand made by Bobbie. The restaurant expanded to 4 locations by 1993. The original location had to be expanded for a take out counter, and a display case just for desserts. All locations served beer and wine and, after a few years, were expanded to add a “pub” style setting, which allowed customers to consume alcohol in a more friendly environment.

In march of 2015, the company expanded with a “tavern” next door to the original restaurant. Gregg’s Restaurants are still owned by the Bacon family and headquarters are located in East Greenwich, Rhode Island.

The restaurant’s name is the nickname of George Touris, co-founder of the restaurant. 

The company offers a unique mix of casual, fast food. The menu includes breakfast, burgers, salads, sandwiches, soup, and French dip sandwiches, but also Greek food, including Gyros, Chicken Souvlaki, and Haddock, along with spaghetti and a vegetarian pasta dish. The Touris family immigrated from Greece, which accounts for the wide menu selection. The company also sells a wide range of desserts, specializing in cakes and to-go orders.

Chubby’s Restaurant also offers catering and delivery services. The company is still owned by the Touris family, with Peter Touris working as the current CEO.

The company is family owned and operated by Wilkins, his brothers, and their children. There are currently 7 locations throughout the Tuscaloosa and Birmingham, Alabama, area. The company specializes in making their tacos fresh once they are ordered, using fresh ingredients, which are brought to the store each day. In addition to beef tacos, the company also offers chicken tacos, soft tacos, nachos, burritos, as well as a “Chili” salad and taco burger.

Taco Casa also sells tumblers, hats, gift cards, and Koozies for cup, all with the Taco Casa logo.

On April 27, 2011 Tuscaloosa was forever changed when a devastating F4 tornado ripped a path of destruction through the heart of Tuscaloosa. Although the 15th Street location took a direct hit and was mostly destroyed, all of the employees in the store were completely unharmed. The building was restored later that same year.
