I purchased a vehicle from DriveTime on October 29, 2021 after my car was totaled from a bad accident. I search and search all over the parking lot in Jackson, MS. I finally found something that I thought was going to be a decent and reliable car to drive with myself and 3 kids. Long story short after 2 weeks the car started making noises. I took the car the a Chevy Dealership to look at. They told me that the Plastic flap under my truck was broken in half. I paid out if my pocket to get it fixed. I still was hearing noises after that. I took it back they said the muffler was a loose. They put brackets around it and fixed it. After that I still was hearing noises. Mind you I had already fixed out of my pocket for the plastic flap and the muffler with the brackets. Now I have to take it back to the shop to figure out what going on with it. Drive time claims that they put it through an inspection but if they have put into an inspection when they have found the flat broken when they have saw that the muffler was hanging when they have saw that it was rusted underneath the truck. This is my first time ever purchasing a used vehicle but I never thought that I will have to experience this after purchasing a truck and have to pay the first car note on December Bridgecrest will not have any problems with taking that money from my account. SilverRock Warranty company is full of shit as well. I will never purchase from DriveTime and most definitely will not used there fraudulent warranty company ever again. I have never had to go through this. I can’t believe this is happening to me. How could you be there to help your customers and then allow them to purchase something that’s having problems. If you are having credit problems just try your best to fix your credit before purchasing from DriveTime or if you just have to get a car drive it for a year and get rid of it. They are out for themselves and the people that work for the company as well. DriveTime and SilverRock.

I bought a 2014 Kia Sorento earlier this year from drive time in Macon Georgia. The car started running funny so I took it to a shop that deals with the warranty company silver rock that I am paying for. They said I need a new engine so they filed it with silver rock and now it’s been two weeks since and the adjuster was supposed to look at the car and decide if it’s a valid warranty claim. WELL IT IS!!! I am already locked into a contract for about 5 years and extremely high interest rates. It’s a 12000 dollar car that will cost me around 37000 when paid in full. I am not going to pay an additional 5000 to fix it if it’s a warranty issue and it is. That will put me in the hole 40000 bucks for a car that ain’t worth it. I could have got a new car for that much money. I screwed up thinking drive time was a good place to purchase a vehicle guess I was wrong. So anyway I am going to take the Kia back to the Macon drive time in maybe another week just to see if silver rock is going to cover my warranty claim. If they don’t I will see if drive time will make my purchase right. If they don’t then I will just give that junk back to them and go elsewhere for now on.

on August 1 my car was impounded on a repossession… I called to get my belonging from Alcar recovery impound on shoemaker dr. Columbus Ohio and was speaking to a Andrea. When I first called it was on a Friday and the impound lot called me back and said they was shutting the entire lot down and I have to reschedule… I stated I needed my belongings, but given no choice to come in Monday or Tuesday. So Tuesday I came and she mentioned that they was robbed and I looked around the impound lot and noticed a huge bobwire fence and thought wow they must of been highly skilled thiefs! So she started to communicate with me that they had found illegal things in my car and the police were involved… This confused me because I know what’s been in my car and nothing of that nature has ever entered my car or home! She said a cop took the illegal things along with a box of comics, ” one worth 3500 “. So I took what she gave me left of my belongings down to the police station to see what was going on… The cpd officer stated they have no comic books nor illegal anything and was never notified of any of this. I then contacted bridgecrest bank and complained and also to drivetime that now said they’re no longer involved in my missing things because Andrea told them that I had gotten all of my belongings! This is far from just a scam! Now I know all parties involved are frauds and thiefs! I will be taking further action and talking to CEO Raymond Fidel about this matter! This is unfair and wrong!

Once the lady at drive time talked to Andrea and they said they returned my belongings she said now drive time is now out of it! That is unprofessional and it’s much easier to wipe your hands from someone else’s loss! My opinion they’re all in this scam of stealing people’s things! Being a business they should be shut doiwn! It’s not like drive time isn’t already ripping ppl off they also steal your things from your car to make even more money! I will take this as far as I can! I will get my belongings back of they’ll pay for my belongings and stress!
