Vienna Beef Corporate Office

Vienna Beef was founded in 1893 by two Austrian immigrants, Emil Reichel and Sam Ladany in Chicago, Illinois. During the Columbian Exposition in 1894, the pair sold traditional hot dogs to fair goers. Later, they opened a store on the West side of Chicago. By 1900, the company began selling their products to restaurants and stores.

Today, Vienna Beef still makes hot dogs the same way they did in 1893, only in a newer factory. During the Great Depression, the company began selling what they called, Hot Dogs with a Salad on Top. This combination of onions, pickle relish, tomatoes, and mustard soon became known as the Chicago Dog.

In 2015, annual revenue for Vienna Beef was $130 million. The company still sell their product to restaurants, such as Portillo’s, grocery stores, as well as through their active eCommerce website.

Diamond Supply Company Corporate Office

Diamond Supply Company was founded in 1998, in Los Angeles, California, by professional skateboarder and designer Nick Tershay, who goes by the name Nick Diamond. The company designs and sells clothing and footwear for upscale, young adults.

The company designs what is called “cutting edge” T-shirts and sneakers that are extremely popular among young adults. Most shirts and shoes have some type of diamond design on them, hence the name of the company. Some of the Nike footwear styles are some of the sought after shoes in the country, with clients sleeping outside stores for several days in hopes of being one of the first to obtain the newest style.

Diamond Supply Company is also known for having one of the best skateboarding teams in the world. Names such as Eric Koston, Paul Rodriguez, Stevie Williams, and Terry Kennedy are part of the company’s lineup of skateboarding professionals. The company’s shoe Tiffany Dunk was listed as #3 on the list of 100 Best Nike Shoes of all time.

Lee Apparel Corporate Office

Lee Apparel, also known as Lee Jeans, was founded in 1889 by Henry David Lee, in Salinas, Kansas. The company originally made jeans and jackets, but today, also manufactures shirts, skirts, belts, and children’s clothes.

The company experienced substantial growth in 1913 when they developed a Union-All work jumpsuit. In the late 1920’s, the company introduced the zipper fly, rather than the standard button fly. By 1960, the company had expanded and their products sold in more than 81 countries. In the early 1970’s, the company branched out into western wear, women’s clothing, and accessories, such as belts and hats.

In September 2020, the company announced that it was partnering with Selfridge stores to feature jeans made from recycled materials.

Today, the company is owned by the VF Corporation, and has headquarters in Merriam, Kansas. The VF Corporation is an international retailer of clothing. Lee Apparel has at least 400 employees in the US.

Wrangler Corporate Office

Wrangler was founded in 1904 by C.C. Hudson and the Blue Bell Overall Company, who originally named the company Hudson Overall Company. They employed an old cowboy named Rodeo Ben (Bernard Lichtenstein) who was also a tailor. He helped to design what are today call Wrangler jeans.

Today, Wrangler is a subsidiary of VF Corporation, who also owns Lee, JanSport, and NorthFace. Wrangler is sold all over the world, with Australia, the US, and Europe being their largest markets, where Wrangler jeans are almost iconic.

There are currently no factories in the US sewing Wrangler jeans, the last one closing in 2005. Although most people associated the brand with the American west, cowboys, and American country music, the jeans are actually sewn in Mexico.

The company continues to seek out sustainability for its products. In September 2020, Wrangler sought out farmers who would or are growing regeneratively grown cotton.

In May 2023, Wrangler signed a multi-year contract with country singer Lainey Wilson to promote its fall/winter clothing line.

Jackrabbit Corporate Office

Jackrabbit was founded in 2003 by Lee Silverman in Brooklyn, New York. The company operates a chain of running shoes and sportswear apparel, specifically geared for runners. The original name of the company was The Running Speciality Group.

The original store became very popular as employees underwent an 8 hour training session so that they would be able to sell customers the correct pair of shoes. From the single location, the company has grown to more than 66 stores in 17 states. The company was purchased by The Finish Line in March of 2015 for an undisclosed amount and the company name was changed to Jackrabbit at this time.

Jackrabbit headquarters are now located in Denver, Colorado. The Finish Line didn’t waste any time, however, in selling Jackrabbit. Private equity firm CriticalPoint Capital acquired Jackrabbit for an undisclosed sum in late January of 2017. It is unknown if the company will change name or move headquarters at this time.
