Chicago Bridge & Iron Company (CG&I) was founded in 1889 in Chicago with the merger of Chicago Bridge & Iron Company and Kansas City Bridge and Iron Company.
The new company was mostly a bridge design and construction company until it began to focus on the design and field construction of liquid storage tanks in the early nineteenth century. Examples are water storage tanks, above-ground tanks for petroleum and refined products, refinery process vessels and other steel structures.

I have worked in CB&i (x. emplyee) Terbela Dam Project Pakistan and Saudia Arabia as a Welder. I want to rejoin CB&i anywhere such like UsA. Also I have worked in McDERMOTT in UAE, DUBAI. Now I am 60 years old and seekiing for a good job oppurtunity. I worked in hackberry La and was let go for no call no show for 2 days. I called the forms and he told me that he was all I needed to contact. I go to work with doctors note and exray and couldn’t get in the gate. I called HR and they said that I missed 3 days in a month. The days I was told I missed was a day we rained out at 3:30 the whole plant. And the next day was Easter Sunday when they sent all ironworker s home at 11. They will not call me back. The last time I heard from them they changed it to poor job ethic. My foreman has missed more than his whole crew and used bogus eye doctor slips, which had no Doc signature or phone number. I would like for someone to call me back. I worked there for 11 months and missed 5 days. And they keep changing the reason I was let go. You can talk to the other forms about my work ethic.

My father Joe Casillas worked for CB&I for 33 years Welding supervisor, Aswell as X-Ray Tech. I myself worked for CB&I off and on, traveled through out the states. 1984 to 1992. I am 56 now still in great shape. I performed NDT X-ray Tech aswell as my father, among other various jobs. I worked with great formans back in the days, of course all now retired.I want very much to get back into this iron field, Tank’s,Boilers,refinery’s. I can do alot for the company, Bull ganger,MT,PT UT, all testing, Grinding welds prep,floating tank’s,build scaffle, ECT. I need this chance to back. Please keep me in mind again, I will travel.
