At least 14 underperforming Chevys Fresh Mex restaurants, mostly in northern California, were closed on December 26, 2016. Among these were the Redding, Chico, South Lake Tahoe, Modesto, and Fresno locations in California.

I would like to suggest a Chevy’s restaurant location in Southern California, more specifically Northridge, CA. I feel we are a pretty diverse suburb that also has a university (CSUN)!! There are 2 locations that I’d like to suggest. The first: 19400 Plummer St, Northridge, CA 91324. And the second: 9429 Tampa Ave, Northridge, CA 91324
We used to frequent Chevy’s when you had a location in Burbank, but it’s been years, and now you’re too far away!! 🙁

Hello my name is Jessica Ashford, I’m writing as a concerned employee at the Chevys Greenbelt Maryland location. My managers are Poppy,Norma,Jay,Alysa and we recently gained Terrence. They have tried to speak with Arther to no avail! Arther has canceled our orders and not fixed are air conditioning and this is getting out of control. The unit has been fixed 3-4 times and you can not put a band aid on a gushing wound that needs stitches! We have had guest get up and leave it’s so hot! That messes with our money as servers! And that’s not ok with me. I have continued to try to talk to our managers and express the issue to them they have tried to no avail to talk with Arthur and I feel at this point it is falling on deaf ears. We can’t even serve our guest frozen margaritas because it is so hot in the store the machines will not freeze! He continues to cut the hours of servers when this is not 6feet apart anymore and we are back to full copassaty,Saturday and Sunday are our most busy days and he will not allow us to have more than 3-4 servers on ! Last Sunday was the absolute worst Poppy was the manger on duty there was myself and 3 other servers in the restaurant, Food was coming out of kitchen with horrible ticket times because they are so hot they are slow from lake of motivation from heat then there’s the issue of the guest already being upset because they couldn’t have a frozen margarita so then they not only want a discount but most of the time want there food or drink taken off! Now that’s costing the restaurant 100’s of Dollars and that turns into 1000’s of dollars of comps for the restaurant! I suffer from epilepsy and being to hot can result in me having a seizure the only reprieve we have from the heat is going in the walk in to cool off and that again is not safe for me or going home and not coming to work! I have a super amount of respect for my managers so I have heeded there request that we just be patient but know I say something this has been to long! Our bartenders are not there a good 30 minutes before they have sweat beaded up on there faces and on more than one occasion I have had guest bring it up to me that it’s nasty and what if it drips in there drink! That’s nasty and unexceptionable.We all have been patient as we can and have now planned a date to all walk out because it’s to hot! Now I get to work here today I come into work and end up in the heat again and there is no call for it! Also there is the fact of our uniforms as part of this chain of restaurants we all need to look uniform so Arthur saying they are not allowed to order our shirts because we are not a new location is hog wash! Now they should be allowed to order the shirts even if we have to buy them from them out the office at least then we will all look uniform! Then the fact that when it rains our POS GOES OUT AND WHEN IT RAINS THEY ARE FORST TO CLOSE TJW PATIO DUE TO FLOODING AND I PERSONALLY WATCHED A MANAGER SQUEEGIE THE FRONT ENTRANCE OUT DUE TO WATER COMING IN THW FRONT DOOR! The windows leak over by tables 24,25,24,35 is rediculess and as servers we all have had a issue and complaints. I am only emailing because these are things as a previous manager for Applebee’s I was taught and I can not believe that a store would allow so many complaints and nothing be done to help the business out to run smoothly,yes at the moment money has to be paid out but that is money that is gonna come back in the door and will allow the business to grow!

I can get to the phone number but I watch one of your managers stick buckle in someone’s to see if it was hot because she didn’t believe them and had the waiter warm it and bring it not someone seen her do because the place was soo busy that evening

I have tried contacting corporate multiple times and no response I worked may 5th of 2019 and still have not gotten paid. It has been almost two months without a paycheck. My first day I slipped in front of everyone and my manager had the nerve to tell me it was my fault and let me continue working with the wrong work attire. Ridiculous! I can’t wait to take this up with a lawyer.

Horrible company! Great food but horrible service and management!! All starts with sh**ty leadership. Do your jobs and learn the business!! Had 2 chevys go out of business in our area( rosevile, ca and auburn, ca ) because of poor management. Good luck

Hi we came to visit from CA and we had the worst experience ever. there was a girl that is a hostes there and was no name tag when I ask for her name she didn’t give to me when I ask for a manager she didn’t told me who was the manager and she told me if I don’t like it leave so manager show up but he didn’t give me the name either but I film her and she said Alex that’s no allowed so I had the video very bad attitude and I want to know what you can do it about it plz need some answer soon

What is with this company. They send out coupons that are no good at the restaurant. Then, when you complain about it they don’t respond. Furthermore, you call the “guest services” number and all it does is keep ringing. No answering service, nobody to answer the damn phone. Chevys calls this “customer service”. I think not. If Chevys even bothers to read this it is reference to ticket # 2017-09-1104. I wont hold my breath waiting to hear from you.

This is a joke. There is no “guest services dept”. You can email these people from now until eternity and you’ll never get a response. Very poor customer service=no customers.

I recently visit chevy at the linden nj and we had a bad experience with the food and the manager that night that was a Jewish manager. The food was nasty and over cooked and the tamale was extra small then usual . We usually go to chevy with the kids and never have this problem at this location when a different manager is there which is a spanish manager. He very nice to costumer . When we told the manager that the food was nasty and over cooked he said thats not his problem . My children didnt hardly eat and they was upset as well. This was the worst experience i ever had to deal with in my life. I would like c

Visited your new location on Providence Td in Charlotte NC.
During our meal I received a business call that I needed to step into the foyer of the restaurant.
While I was attending to this call my wife went to the restroom with our 4 yr old child.
Upon returning to the table I found it was cleared and the manager approaching me with my set of keys left on the seat by my wife.
I told him thisecare my keys and immediately I was told the server said I walked out in my tab and I would need to pay the bill.
If they would have looked past the lobby and did any form of investigating into the situation they would have easily found me.
Instead I was accused of walking out on my tab and in turn the manager kept my keys until the bill was settled.
Not only did my wife and child not finish their meals that were taken away but on top of this accused of walking out on a tab when there was clearly no one looking into the situation.
Not a wonderful experience at all for $49.

I ordered from your website. It was inviting and encouraged me to order online. I did. You charged me almost 10.00 to deliver so I thought surely for that much my order would be right. Of course it wasn’t/ When I looked at my receipt it said plainly that if there was an issue contact my restaurant and provided me with a link to find the number. When I called the restaurant I was put on the phone with Tony who said he was a manager. He took no responsibility for my order being messed up. The food was cold, there was no drinks. You took my money right away. But now I have no recourse to get it back. Your manager was rude. He wanted to argue with me that I should not have ordered online, I should have called the store. But the website offered to allow me to order online. Your manager told me it wasn’t his fault, they just don’t offer drinks, but the website said nothing about drinks not being made available, you charged my credit card for it. You charged me 35.00 for one meal, that I could not eat. I want a refund and I will return the food to your store, who took no responsibility for the screw up of my order at all. I need contact on a district level at the missed opportunity here.
