Hello, I am writing this on behalf of my veteran father. My family decided to visit your park for Memorial Day weekend. My father and his wife were in line for over an hour waiting to get on a ride. My father who is a veteran could not hold his bladder any longer and stepped out of line to use bathroom. Upon returning to line to join his wife who did not leave line. an upset patron called security and told them he was “cutting” the line. My father who is an African American man was told to leave the line or purchase a “bathroom pass” for the day. This is absurd and discrimination and for someone who is a veteran of this country you would think they would receive better treatment. My father was so embarrassed and did not want to participate in any other rides for the day. Our entire family PAID for tickets to attend your park as this was also a celebration for his birthday. I will be in contact with our family attorney regarding this matter as well.

Super disappointed! You should have a pop up window when ordering tickets online. My mentally delayed niece and nephew flew from Washington state to Michigan to attend Cedar point. This was a trip that they had anticipated for two years!! Since I do not ride rides my daughter drove them from Michigan to Ohio to attend the park for a day. My Nephew was unable to ride the ride due to his size. He is larger but not abnormally large, I was shocked. My daughter called me very upset telling me he wasn’t able to ride the rides and they were testing him in front of other to see if he could ride each ride.He couldn’t just be left alone nor would it be morally right to continue without him, no one was able to enjoy the park. Since I was in Michigan I called the office to see if they had something to accommodate him and they said they have a handful of rides that would accommodate him but they couldn’t provided seat belt extenders or anything. At this point I was told that if they came into the office they could complete some paperwork and I would be refunded. The visit was on June 23rd 2019. I was told the refund would be within 2-3 business days.I have called back and emailed several times. Each time I get a different answers
1st time- I was told, so sorry and was put through to Katie voicemail- no return call!
2nd time- 5-7 business days- I was put through to Katie voice mail- no return call
3rd time- I was told it was not a guarantee! It was only a request and she would put a message in for a call back from Gretchen- no return call
4th time-Emailed- then received a call- So sorry, I will put message in with??
5th time-Called- reached the same person as contact number #2. She said she would put an urgent message in for Gretchen to call me and that she will be in tomorrow, July 12th.
We paid for three tickets, three fast pass tickets ( totally worthless in this situation) and parking! Order number #70607716
I am requesting a refund of the $525 that I paid for my family members to have a day of hell! and would like you to give some warning to others! We are not the only ones that have been through this humiliation and think you could take other steps to prevent this in the future! I feel like this discrimination, false advertising and much more. Please make this right. Thank you, Julia Powers

Not sure who Im supposed to be addressing this to but Im gonna start by saying that when me and my husband brought out 3 kids to cedar point over the weekend of 8-4-2018 , all 3 kids very first time going was a BIG disappointment when standing in line for 3-4 hrs and then the ride breaks down and you have to leave the line with nothing but heartbreak cause they don’t know when its gonna be back up then to get in another 2-3 hr line and that ride go down due to mechanical issue, I mean really for the money I spent for tickets to get in on top of water park extra money to pay and for us to only ride 4 rides from 10 am till 11 pm is very very bad and something needs to be done about this, you guys have raised the prices and did not upgrade anything for this type of money, I am so disappointed and upset for a whole day wasted and lots of money gone and cedar point is one of the best places ever to visit, just very sad….

So we visited the park today for Halloween wknds, their we 7 of us 3 of which had never gone.i was extremely extremely upset at the way it was ran 90% of the rides were shut down or u had a 3hr wait for the ones that were working. They closed 3 of the haunted things early 1 was closed due to the rain, so I truly feel that something needs to be done because this was the worst experience I have ever had at cp.

My family has been going to Cedar Point for over 30 years every year twice a year last night we went to Cedar Point on September 23rd 2017 and it was the worst Halloween weekend we’ve been to half of the major rides were not running and we were told it was because they were broken down but in reality we found out the truth is because it did not have enough employees working people very upset last night the kind of money you spend to get into that Park you should be able to ride all the rides not happy with Cedar Point for the year 2017 Halloween weekend Cedar Point should do something about that to the people that went on that day

Mr. Bender,
I wasn’t sure who to address my concerns and experience to but I felt like you would get this letter in proper hands
Our family of 7 visited Cedar Point on July 2nd and Cedar Point Shores on July 3rd 2017. We took advantage of the “Light up the Point”
special as my husband is a Veteran.
When we went in the gate at Cedar Point we got my grandchildren (ages 3 and 4) were measured for height. The 3 year old, Amoura, was 36 inches and an orange band
put on her wrist and the 4 year old, Eva, measured 39 inches and a purple band was placed on her wrist by the attendant.
I am a senior and my daughter is pregnant so we spent the day with the little ones doing things they could. We had a difficult day in the children rides which was not only stressful
for us but for the children. They had their bands on and were ready to go and poor little Amoura (the 3 year old) was told she couldn’t ride according to their measuring sticks…
yes, it happened more than once. What bothered me the most was that each department would say something about other team members of the park. We heard “they weren’t trained properly”,
“they always get it wrong”, “we have had a lot come through today like this”…and when they wouldn’t let the 3 year old get on the train in Snoopy Land. I decided to go to guest
services. Well that didn’t help much as they were indifferent to our problem and told us that the attendant at the ride had the authority. So you can imagine how frustrating we were
that the 3 year old could ride some rides with her orange band but others would turn her away. I would also like to say that the attendant who was taking care of the train in
Snoopy Land was terribly rude and made Amoura cry because she said she couldn’t ride the train. I don’t know if he/she (this person’s hair was very short and with the uniform I wasn’t sure)
was having a bad day or was just frustrated with working with the children.
Well, we didn’t know what else to do so we just enjoyed as much as we could. As evening set in were decided to eat at Johnny Rockets. We understand that prices are a little higher
in the park. Again, another frustrating experience. We placed our order according to the menu and when we were served it was a shock…my daughter and I both ordered the
Chili Bowl when we got it..it was a thin layer of meat mixture in the bowl with a quarter inch of grease on the top. The children got
hot dogs so I thought maybe it was topping for their hot dogs but the waitress told me it was the Chili Bowl…nothing like the picture…no cheese, no topping at all and not sure if it suppose to have beans but it didnt have any. We ordered (2) fries one bacon and cheese the other according to their menu was covered with white cheese. The portion surprised us as the waitress lead us to believe we could share it
when we got them they were a single (medium fries size). There was so white cheese on the one but just shredded cheese sprinkled over it. We asked about it and the waitress took it back
and then brought out some fried that they tried to melt swiss cheese over…well…it was just a hard glob on the top …the fries under it were plain. The waitress took the Chili Bowls and we got the chicken nuggets instead and were going to share the fries but there just wasn’t enough and we were disappointed with them we didn’t order anymore. We had wished we had left the park to eat as we spent
$50. and was still hungry.
July 3rd…..Cedar Point Shores…we arrived at Cedar Point and we had already bought our tickets online with our parking pass. We were given a blue tag to put on our rear view mirror so the
people in the lot would direct us. We were directed to the Cedar Point Parking lot…..we thought it was a bit strange but we thought the entrance to the water park must be through the park. We went through checking bags etc. and get to the gate and we are at the wrong place. So we had spent an hour by this time got back in the car and got to the right parking lot…went around and around and around…no parking places…we paid for the $15. parking so we waiting until maybe someone would leave and time is clicking away. I went to the booth and told the girl there was no spots and she already knew it as others were getting frustrated as well. The girl said we could park in that lot for an addition $10….so that’s what we did , the other choice was to drive back to the Cedar Point parking lot which we already spend an hour at and wait for a shuttle to bring us over to Cedar Point Shores. All of this confusion took about 2 hours of our time.
We still ran into problems with poor little Amoura because everyones stick measured her different…some of the baby slides she could go on and some she couldn’t. The measuring stick looked very used
and could use some new paint and better lines for measuring. At this point we just let her do what she could do.
So at the end of the day..we had mixed feelings about our Cedar Point visit. My husband and the older grand children was able to ride the roller coasters etc.
We have lost our son (the older grand children’s (ages 13 and 14) dad so we are raising them, plus we just lost my sister. …both my son and my sister both died a sudden death.
This was a little get-away to just feel good about something, have some time together and smile. I also attached a picture of Amoura with Snoopy…she loves him 🙂 ha ha
I wanted to share our experience with you as I know there is always something you can improve with your team. the thing that bothered us the most was how we and Amoura was treated
over her height and the way other departments were talking about other team members and the food…we felt like they were drastically cutting corners or didn’t have what they needed or something.
The parking people directing us to the right place…and not being able to find a parking place and having to pay more because there wasn’t enough room.
Thank You! so much for your time.
