Concerned Parent says
Hi, I am very concerned about your corporate policy during this time with COVID-19, and having employees continue to come to work in the office. There has been a number of outbreaks within the WASH DC office and yet, employees still feel obligated to come to the office due to your time-off policy during this time.
Why are you requiring your employees to use their accrued PTO, if they don’t feel comfortable coming into the office, and then have them go into negative PTO for up to 40 hrs? How is this policy protecting your employees and taking care of them? You are forcing them to come to the office and putting them at risk of getting the virus; where 99% of all other companies are allowing their employees to work from home and/or not enforcing them to use their PTO, if they don’t feel comfortable coming into the office.
Does CACI really respect their employees and does CACI have their employees best interests in mind during this difficult time? I don’t think so. I have worked in the private sector for 30 years and have never heard of a company implementing a policy like this.
CACI is being looked upon as a company that doesn’t care about their employees. I hope the CACI executive team will review this insane time-off policy and allow employees to stay home and be safe – without needing to use their PTO. After all is said and done, I’m sure someone must care about the reputation of CACI and how they treated their employees in comparison to how other companies ensured the safety of their employees and went above and beyond to keep them safe and healthy.
