Braum’s was founded in 1968 by Mary and Bill Braum of Tuttle, Oklahoma. The company operates a chain of casual burger restaurants, small grocery stores, and ice cream shops in Oklahoma.
As of late 2013, the company had 128 stores in Oklahoma, 13 in Missouri, 13 in Arkansas, 99 in Texas, and 27 in Kansas. Since all goods are made or grown fresh at the farm in Tuttle, the company will not open a location more than 300 miles from the farm to ensure freshness.
The Braum family owns 8 farms, with a total of 40,000 acres. It is the only ice cream maker in America which owns the cows that provide the cream for their products.
As of August 2022, the company has 307 locations, mostly in and around Oklahoma.

I’ve been going to Braum’s since I was a child. The store in Allen, Texas on Main Street needs a serious overhaul. It’s filthy, with grease everywhere. Beverages spilled on the ground, tables are not wiped down. I don’t dare go into the bathroom. Ordered ice cream and the vat had been sitting out so they served it to me me dripping everywhere and somewhat melted. The drive thru is painfully long and the employees don’t seem happy at all. Like ground up overhaul in store, employees, etc. The model it’s working from seems to be from the year it was founded.

Fell tonight at Braum’s coming out of store uneven concrete. SHOPPER BEWARE. No one came out of store or off break to help me get up. Thanks Braum’s. Just two hurt knees two hurt elbows busted up hand and a destroyed Apple Watch. Braum’s okmulgee!!!

I just found a sharp peice of plastic in my milkshake, there was another one that I think I accidentally swallowed. If I get sick from this I’m going to be very pissed off. I’ve been having bad luck with braums products here lately, before it was them not washing their machines and now it’s shards on plastic. PLEASE DO RETRAIN THE EMPLOYEES OF YOUR NORMAN OKLAHOMA LOCATIONS.

Went to braums off Reno and council. It looked miserable in there. The employees seemed super defeated the store was moderately clean. I asked a manager if he could wipe my table down and he did the whipped the rest of the empty tables as well. The food was good seemed fresh even though I waited 10+ minutes but the atmosphere of the employees seemed off compared to the usual. The manager that helped me was nice but other then maybe him and two others everyone else didn’t seem happy or friendly. The food may have taken long but tasted great still. I left overall happy but someone should check on their staff.

My question. Is ;

When I get a shake ?
Samantha says
As someone who works at a Braums yes there is natural sugar in it, it’s not sugar free vanilla bean it is no sugar added; so there will be natural sugar just no added sugars in it.
Lisa lujan says
My husband went into the braums on range line like the one that almost in webbcity
He has been getting the vanilla bean shake. Be cause he’s diabete and the cashier informed him that there no sugar added it it has sugar he also ordered a meal there and told cashier that his order well be to go and then while waiting for his order went to look at the ice cream. While
His order was being fixed the cashier never called his name or number saying his order was ready. And then they put his order into one of the brown paper bag I can’t believe what bad service he had mgmt needs to watch his employees and teach them better. Service was bad and husband was very angry
I know this kind of service isn’t acceptable I have worked there

I was just at Brams in Webb City Missouri on north Rangeline. I ordered through the drive through and was totally taken back by the employees handing me my food without masks on. In fact there wasn’t anyone in the store with a mask on. This bothered me very much so I called the store to ask why they weren’t wearing masks. The person on phone informed me she was one of the managers and they didn’t have to wear masks. I purchase all my milk, bread, ice cream and bananas ect at bramns and have done so since store opened. All of thier products are great and fresh. As an older adult and worried about the conoraviris I guess to stay safe I will have to cease buying from bramns. I know this will be loss to both myself and bramns, however, I must do what I have to, to be safe.

Tri-City/Newcastle, Ok., that store is truly driving business away. Whoever the Dist Manager or Store manger is, really needs more training to maintain a team of employees who knows & cares about the customer’s needs & requests, not just there for a paycheck, be a Team Player to uphold the standards that Braum’s has always showed their customers. Sad, great products, but very poor service at that store location. We now drive to Mustang to Braum’s, smaller store, better service?Perhaps starting with the CEO of Braum’s needs to visit that particular store/Tri-City/Newcastle, Ok. store as a customer? Customers does make or break a business.

I love Braums – Great Hamburger meat and sausage – love your milk and the Chef Pierre pies. Visited Braums (4/14/2020) in Jenks Oklahoma on 101st Street. NOTE TO BRAUMS: Oklahoma has had over 2,000 cases of the coronavirus. Wearing my mask, I entered the store to find five or six employees behind the ice cream counter (including the manager). There were a couple of more employees in the grocery section. NONE OF THEM WEARING MASKS!!!!! I wear a mask to protect them and I expect them to pay me the same consideration. I spoke with your manager – his brilliant explanation was, “Well, we got an e-mail about it but none of us have any masks.” Over 100 people DEAD in Oklahoma as a result of people not taking precautions and this genius can’t figure out how to make a home made mask for himself and his employees. #bewildered in Jenks

Your Braums store in Parsons is an embarrassment to the town. Dirty, unorganized and a holy terror to go in for just a small strawberry mix and small malt. Screaming employees, dirty empty tables and very unorganized. It took them ten minutes to make the mix and over half an hour for the malt. Total confusion and they were all blaming it on one employee not showing up. I’ve never been in a Braums so terrible and I won’t go there again!

I go to Braum’s weekly to get my double dip icecream. I don’t want the whip cream, the cherry, just nuts. I always ask for 2 dips of butter pecan. One side with strawberry and one with chocolate with sprinkle of walnuts and pecans. Sometimes they get it right and sometimes they don’t. Most of the time they short dip the icecream and don’t put hardly any chocolate or strawberry on it. I conplain to the management when I get home and find it isn’t right. She says she will take care if it the next time I come in. She takes my name. I stopped and bought butter milk from you it is the worse tasting stuff I have ever put in my mouth. I’m from the country where we use to make butter milk. The stuff your making is terrible. No where near what butter milk should taste like. I’ve called on this issue to the corporate office in Dallas and no respond. Before I retired I had 35 years in the food business. You all are going down hill instead of making it better. Maybe some retraining in the stores are needed. Feel free to contact me at 817-237XXXX

My husband and I go to the Braums in Tri- City ,(#154) about once a week. We stopped by this evening and I ordered a hot fudge sundae double dip. When I started to eat it, I noticed it had very little hot fudge so I took it to the girl who made it and ask for a little bit more hot fudge and I was told that she had put one pump on and that if I wanted more I would have to pay for it. I am sorry to hear that Braums is son hard up for money that they have to ration their hot fudge. I will be calling the home office tomorrow to see if I can take up donations for them.

I doubt anyone will actually read this, but I will attempt to
reach out anyway.
On Monday, March 11th, 2019 @ 2:13pm, I went through the drive through of Braum’s #255, located at 1701 E Shady Grove, in Irving, TX.
I ordered 2 bags of burgers with cheese for my elderly grandmother and my kids. I also ordered 6 frozen yogurts in cups. The young girl working was laughing and talking to a coworker when I was trying to order. She must have had a difficult time hearing me, as I needed to repeat my order 4 times in order for her to proceed. When I got to her window, she told me the receipt paper was out and that she couldn’t give me a receipt. I was told to move to the next window for my food. The next little girl brings ice creams to the window and tried to give them to me without lids. I had to explain to her I needed lids on the cups of ice cream, as I’m driving and cannot hold them. Then she wanted to hand the ice creams to me, and I had to explain that I needed the 6 cups of ice cream with lids, and they need to be in a paper bag, again, because I’m driving and cannot hold them or keep them from rolling around in my vehicle.
Finally, I get my 6 Ice Creams in a cup with lids in a paper bag. I was waiting to receive my 2 bags of cheeseburgers and noticed there is a sticker on the window that says if you don’t receive your receipt with correctly priced items, ask the manager for a $5 gift certicate.
I asked for the manager and she came up to the window visibly upset. She asked what the problem is. I responded that there was a posting below the drive thru window stating I should ask for a $5 gift certificate if I don’t receive my receipt. Before I could finish, she started yelling in Spanish, closed the window on me, and disappeared. I waited a few minutes and honked to get their attention. Finally she came back, and told me that if I want $5 then she will take it from the young lady’s final check as if maybe she’d be fired? I felt awful for asking and wished it wasn’t such a terrible production and embarrassing scene. I felt like I did something wrong by asking about the company policy posted on the Braum’s drive thru window. She gave me a bag of burgers without cheese, no receipt, and no $5 gift certificate. She kept telling me something, I didn’t understand her. Then she shoo’ed me on and closed the window, as I suppose I was holding up the line. I had to leave as the situation seemed fruitless.
So in summary, this was a lose-lose situation. I didn’t get the correct items I ordered. I didn’t get my receipt. I didn’t get my $5 gift certificate. The young girl and the manager seemed to be arguing and my ice cream melted by the time my cheeseless burgers came back. According to my financially institution’s banking app, I was over charged $4.10 for what I received. $4.10 overcharge + $5 certificate for receipt never received = $9.10.
Not a lot to some folks. But my 83 year old grandma will NEVER let me hear the end of it, how she now thinks Braum’s are liars and crooks, and because of her limited income, losing out on $9.10 means a lot to her.
Sure would be nice if Braum’s would do something to honor their word and reputation by making things right.

Every time I go to Braums and use my visa card …Im overcharged. Most recent was my receipt showed 20.24 and the transaction at my bank was for 24.64. I overlooked it at first thinking it was a mistake. I called the Braums I was at and was very rudely informed it was because I had insufficient funds in my bank, Untrue I had just gotten paid! I can see from the previous person this had happened to her as well. It seems to me this overcharging is going on every where. I think its fraud from Braums and needs investigation. And better believe Im going to follow up. Im also thinking Braums gets away with it because most people dont catch it. So people check your notifications on how much Braums charges your debit card. Im sure the owe alot of people money!!!!

My first job was a Braun’s in Broke Arrow Oklahoma. I know what it’s like to be very busy, very slow, overwhelmed! I get it! So here is my rant… The Braun’s located off I240 & Shields has got to be the worst in customer service.
We have decided, instead of driving .7 miles to our neighborhood Braun’s we go to the one off of 72nd & Western.
Just for the customer service! All your products are the same . No dought all delicious!
But someone has got to step in and tell the employees or guide them or train them on customer service.

My name is Dawn Waggoner and I live south of Bristow, Oklahoma. I love Braum’s ice cream and I especially love Braum’s White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake ice cream. A couple of years ago I was on my way to work and stopped at the Braum’s at 51st and Peoria in Tulsa. There I discovered the wonders of Braum’s White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake ice cream (WCRC).
I always drove the same route to work; Take the Peoria exit off of I-44, go to the stoplight and make a left turn onto Peoria and blah, blah, blah. If you turn right, you’re at Braum’s. From that day on, whenever I took the Peoria exit – if the light was red, I took that as a sign from God (or somewhere) that I should turn right – into Braum’s parking lot.
Sadly, I haven’t worked in Tulsa for almost two years. There is no Braum’s in Bristow. I recently started working in Sapulpa and there is a Braum’s less than two miles from where I work. (This is also the closest Braum’s to my house – 33 miles).
I have visited this store in the past and was able to purchase my favorite: WCRC ice cream a few times. One day I stopped to get some and they were out of it. I was crushed (I know, I need to get a life). The manager, who had just checked the freezer inventory and given me the bad news, told me that if I really wanted the ice cream, she could sell me a cube or brick (?) – one of the big 2 1/2 gallon boxes that they scoop ice cream from and put onto cones). I was elated and told her yes before she changed her mind. That was a few months ago.
(I see a pattern forming here) I now work close to a Braum’s and I have stopped in three different times in the last week-looking for the White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake ice cream. Each time I have been informed that that particular flavor is not available and that they can’t even add it to their order sheet. The manager told me that some stores have it and I could maybe check the Sand Springs Braum’s and see if they have any. Some stores have it and some don’t; and the Sapulpa Braum’s is a “don’t”. I really can’t drive from town to town; stopping at every Braum’s to see if they have my favorite ice cream. The store in Sapulpa is conveniently located so can you please, please, please – send them some White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake ice cream so I can stock up on it! I’ve told all of my friends how wonderful it is, but now I have to also tell them – “They don’t have it at the Sapulpa Braum’s so you’ll just have to take my word for it”.
Or you can just build a brand new Braum’s in Bristow and I’ll be your best customer and biggest fan. If I sound desperate, it’s because I am. My contact information is at the end of this letter.
Sincerely,
Dawn Waggoner

Hello, came to your brains in gainesville today, we have eaten here for years. Anyway ordered our food and went to pay, the total was over $20 so I had to pay with a hundred, so the cashier had to holler acrsoss the kitchen to tell the manager he needed I guess approval to break a hundred. The managers response was ugh what’s the deal with these G-damn hundreds today! Then Kept on with her very rude demenour, and cursing through out my transaction. My children both were at the counter with me and heard everything. This is ridiculous. I am a food and beverage manager at a Casino where adults are predominantly what is served, and I promise you of one of my staff members talked like this in front of a patron they would be reprimanded, now if one of my supervisors or mangers did this man I don’t know how I would handle it, but I would promise that it wouldn’t happen again. Braums is a family place so this is completely wrong on a whole other lever. Well enough of my rant, when you all have resolved this issue you can contact me and my family at my email address and we then will come back and eat at your outlet. Until then thanks for the years of family dinners, wish it didn’t have to end this way.

I am going to attempt to answer all of these posts I found while looking for something else related to Braums. I am an Assistant Manager at a Braums in Oklahoma City. First, I completely agree with you and sincerely apologize for you experience at one of the Braums Store. I would not allow any of my employees or other managers to act or respond to a customer in the way as you described. Usually on Fridays or paydays, the store run into the problem of having to change out 100 dollar bills that customer bring in. Unfortunately, only managers can change out hundreds IF there are no hundreds in the register. Policy has gone back and forth on this and I will not give specifics as it might come back to me. I would encourage you to contact the corporate office next time and make sure the have your receipt. This will give corporate a chance to identify the store# and supervisor incharge at the time so corrective action can be taken.

You should NEVER have to deal with an order that was not right to begin with. Once again, I apologize for your poor experience and hope you can give Braums one more chance.

Went to the Braums in Yukon off Garth Brooks, store #242 last night. Ordered 2 shakes at 8:42 PM. As I am sitting in the line, I see numerous employees standing around. I wait patiently until 9:00 PM then I called the store as I am sitting outside the window and was told they were unaware that we were in line outside. I had already paid or I would have just left. When the kid came to the window, our shakes were sitting right there. Obviously had been there for awhile as they were already melting and very thin. Very disappointed!!

Use to love Braums but will longer eat there. Hamburgers are now 25% smaller, cheese use to be an add on but now comes with every burger and no refund if you leave off the cheese, shakes are now included even though many people don’t want a shake and they definitely have changed the formula. Hamburgers are cooked well in advance and are kept way too long on a warmer so they can be instantly prepared but are dry and tasteless. Perhaps second generation management doesn’t know the value of customer service.

My wife and I used to love to stop at your store in Ozark MO. until our visit this afternoon. I’m not sure why you felt your burgers were not providing enough protein and had to add it to your shakes. I had a strawberry shake and could only manage about two sips because I couldn’t believe how foul tasting the first was. Your shakes used to be world class, but now they would not even stand up to one from McDs. Our hamburgers were about 2/3s the size of your original burgers and did not contain one drop of juice and were dry and crunchy like a good portion of the meat consisted of ground gristle. I’m not sure who is in charge of the food items, but they obviously don’t eat there. The yogurt is a nice touch but, in the menu above the serving station is listed as “Greek Yogurt/Shake” and had to ask if the choice was a yogurt or a shake. Additionally we had to share our table with half a dozen ants.
We used to go out of our way to eat at Braum’s because they had the juiciest, most tender, and largest burgers in the area; not to mention how delicious the shakes were. Now we will not be wasting our money or time, and will certainly be informing our friends.

I’m writing to complain about a worker with Braums. I’m so disappointed in my service, first of all the worker was rude when I asked her questions she act like she didn’t want to answer, and I asked for a double dip but the amount of ice cream I received was for a single dip and I made a comment but she ignored me what I should have done was returned the ice cream and asked for a refund. So when I got home I decided to call to speak to a manager tried 6 attempts and no one answered. I will take my business to your competitor who appreciates their customers.

I went to braums at 1308 s garnett road in tulsa, OK on 3-23-17, I was going to order the California burger Combo, with a shake, which made it an additional 1.40 more, so I changed my order to the chicken strip combo which is 6.49 and comes with a shake. When I checked my bank statement braums charged me 9.74. I called to ask why I was overcharged. I tried to explain but a man named Kent said the upcharge was for 6 chicken strips which I did not order, I told him he wasn’t listening to me, he put me on hold for about 3 minutes and I could hear him say I’m not dealing with this lady, people don’t know what they are talking about. A lady came on the phone and I explained the situation to her she said she could not do anything without the receipt, I told her I don’t know of I had it. I told her that I was upset because I specifically changed my order to avoid the upcharge and, she just kept repeating the same thing, my policy says I can’t do this without a receipt. I said you guys made the mistake, can’t you do anything to mitigate it, she just kept saying I need the receipt. I hope this isn’t how braums trains their managers to be completely inflexible and not help their customers. If braums valued customer service, she would have said something like if you don’t have the receipt I can offer the value of your meal. She became very defensive when I told her I did not appreciate being talked about, and she lied and said he did not say that. She said her name was joann, or jonette. I hope your company will do something to fix this situation, as I have never been treated so poorly by fast food employees.
