Becker Furniture World was founded in 1978 in Becker, Minnesota. The company began with one small 500 square foot storefront. The Huseby’s made furniture in the back room and sold to other stores in order to stay afloat in the beginning.
Today, the company has more than 8 locations and began an aggressive expansion program in 2010. The company remodeled their 250,000 square foot flagship store while opening their new mattress and bedding stores, Becker Mattress.
Becker Furniture World is still owned and operated by the Huseby family. The company has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau and still maintains their headquarters in Becker, Minnesota

We purchased a love seat in Dec 2019. After one year, the custions on one side began to sag. It kept getting worse. Then the arm began to separate from custion. I contacted the store in Coon Rapids, mn. They told me to contact my warrenty insurance. The warrenty said they would check out the. Arm problem, but not the sagging custions, because it wasn’t reported to them in the last 30 days. I called Becker store again, to assist me in getting custions fixed. They replied that they can even talk to the warrenty people. After many calls and complaints, they said they would send the mechanism to be replaced, but we had to install. Needless to say part never came. I placed the claim on January 12th 2020. Warrenty insurance said everything was on hold due to covid problems. They finally contacted me, October 26th2021. They sent furniture repair man out. He stated that the mechanism isn’t the problem. The custions we’re fault. Now warrenty insurance stated they will not cover any part of repairs. This has been the most disgusting treatment of a customer that I have ever encountered. Becker still refuses to assist me. Next will be the Better Business bureau, here in Coon Rapids, mn.

Hi.
My family purchased a table, bench seat and 3 counter chairs and an adjustable chair with footrest.
Since then, my husband retrofitted all the chairs with additional supports as the seats came apart from the frame.
Same for the bench. We finally got rid of the chairs when the fabric started to deteriorate (leather.. pleather?) and the bench seat became too rickety for anyone to sit in (again the frame was deteriorating, seat coming away from the frame).
We have since gotten rid of the chairs, having spent as much on repair as we did the item itself, and purchased others.
The table was okay, until we slid something across it and caused a large white mark ( in contrast to the dark stain). My husband sanded down the table and tried to restain but was really challenged since the material was press board and composed of myriad colors of random …. composite material unlike a single species of wood…. sigh.
Then our adjustable chair is starting to deteriorate as well, the leather (pleather?) is falling apart and well.. just sort of adding to our not-so-good customer experience.
We did purchase a warranty … or ‘care plan’ but just like a SNL skit we were informed that nothing we were concerned about was covered. Maybe a zombie apocalypse… So that was another 250.00 bucks thrown away.
I’m wondering if you have an interest in helping us with our very disappointing experience after purchasing over $2,000 in furniture with you? I think furniture should last more than 4 years.
Thank you for your consideration and look forward to your reply.
Regards
Julie Riemer
