PER THE STATE OF MICHIGAN THIS FALLS UNDER WIRE FRAUD. When processing across state lines through a federal banking system it becomes a Federal Offense.

Refund the extra $298 you took out of our account – this is wire fraud and a federal offense. I tried numerous times today to get my claim shipped after it was approved days ago and to get this overpayment refunded with ZERO resolution. Emailed document as I was asked and talked to THREE supervisors and “phone is back ordered” and “did you send us the statement” ahhh YES.
I have also sent document through your portal as an attachment – zero response.
25 year customer ripped off by the insurance, I am sure T-Mobile will be thrilled to see my 6 lines cancelled and all of our 10 business lines transferred to another carrier.
I have NOT received a call back (989-666-XXXX) so next stop is Michigan Attorney General’s Office to file complaint and ask for wire charges to be filed. Oh, and I am coping the Board of Directors of Assurant just to be sure someone can explain why I am not getting a phone (any phone) shipped overnight as the policy promises.

On 11/04/2021 I submitted a tablet replacement claim through t-mobile due to a broken screen. On 11/09/2021 I received the replacement tablet and on 11/10/2021 I sent back the broken tablet and it was received and handed to someone in person on 11/15/2021. Well on 4/5/2022 I received my T-mobile bill of $747.22 ($419 was for a non-returned tablet) . That didn’t make sense because my tracking number said it was received. On 4/7/22 I called t-mobile and was advised to contact their device insurance company (assurant). Well I contacted them that same day and was told the package was delivered but was not scanned in, in their warehouse. And that it will take 2-3 days to confirm it was received. A week has passed and I was not contacted in regards to the tablet so I contacted them. The second person I spoke to on 04/13/2021, said they never received anything even with the tracking number provided and were told to wait another 10 days for them to find the tablet. I waited for 10 business days until I contacted them again. I spoke to a third person and was told great news the tablet was scanned in their warehouse on 11/18/2021. INTERESTING (since I was told it wasn’t scanned in their warehouse on 4/7/21), but still great news I even got a reference number. So I contacted t-mobile so they can remove the charges on my account. I was told to contact their team who handles insurance related concerns to remove the charges. I called the number they provided and was told that since it’s past 90 days they cannot issue a refund. WHAT???? It made no sense so I asked to speak to a supervisor. They told me they will issue a refund which will not reflect my account till after 2 billing cycles. I was upset not the least but I was relieved. On 5/3/2022 I received an email that they cannot issue the refund and to contact them. When I called them I was told that the IMEI number they have does not match the tablet that was sent. I could not figure out why it wouldn’t match if I didn’t have another tablet. Well back in 11/2020 was the original date I purchased the tablet through T-mobile. I unfortunately received a defective tablet and had it replaced with Apple on 11/8/2020. Which explains why the IMEI number would not match if they believe the tablet they were replacing was the one I originally got from T-mobile (the defective one). Today on 5/8/2022 I went to Apple to get a copy of the service receipt I received back in 2020. That receipt has the IMEI number (of the tablet they were expecting) and that it was replaced with a different tablet due to tablet not working) I called t-mobile again so I can provide this receipt but they will not honor that and refuse to refund me the money because they want the tablet that was sent to me originally (when submitting a claim it does not ask to confirm the IMEI number, if they did we could have avoided this, because the tablet I sent back was the one Apple replaced due to malfunction on the original tablet). This is horrible customer service and I will no longer work with them in the future.

I have a major issue with Assurant. I submitted a claim for a replacement phone. I received the new phone and returned the old phone within the 10 days. After 2 weeks of me shipping the items, I was receiving text messages about the item not being received when I clearly shipped it. I called Assurant to verify they received it and they said don’t worry about it is still processing. I called a week later inquiring about if they received the device and if there were any issues. The rep told me no they received my device and everything was set. Then months later I was hit with a $350 non return fee for a device Due to the physical device you all received was different from the IMEI I submitted in my claim which is absurd. That is only device I had and I shipped. I CANNOT believe you all are charging for a phone that I returned to you all. I requested for the IMEI that the phone had and they said they can’t give me that info. I requested for you all to send me a pic of the phone you all received , you all said you cannot share that info. Why can’t you all share this info with me if it is my account
.This is an entire scam that you all are running. What’s the point of going through the proper channels and doing the right thing if I’m going to be robbed and charged for a phone I don’t have. My service is currently disconnected because of this issue that is not my fault. I am a very dissatisfied customer. I need this to be resolved ASAP.

Filed a claim for new tablet. Got said tablet. But the sim card you guy sent was still active so after waiting for an hour andhalf to get it active. They store say they can’t because you guy sent an active sim card with it. So I call same day lady say ok well send a new card out you’ll have it tomorrow . Tomorrow comes dont get it call that day say some reason didn’t get sent out the first day should get it the next day. Yet still dont get it. Call again to help desk and they couldn’t tell me what’s going on or where it is. This is the second time you guy screwd me over. Wasted time and money but if I didn’t send my tablet back have no problem charging me then huh? I’m charging you you guys owe me for my time. 100.00 bucks!

As of May 17, 2018 had a house fire in master bedroom, whole house had smoke damage, contacted assurant co. to make a claim on 5/18/18. Mr.Hardy i talk to, who sent an adjuster out to my house on 5/22/18. adjuster mr. Walter told me he was only for the structure of the house in nothing else inside. I contacted Mr. Hardy to ask him when someone will be out to itemize other other damages to my house, he stated to me that mr. Walter need to be doing everything, my neighbor Helen Johnson also a wittness to what was stated from mr. Walter. As of this date no one came out to my house to itmize anything but sent me two checks that could almost cover the cleaning of the house and not the fixture of the wall, or broken windows, door screens etc. I need some kind of help from someone due to i have special need children that need to be in this home. I am not very happy at this point, and need for this company to find me the people to fix my house for what they want to pay. if this get to corprate office please call me 410-804-XXXXX or do other action need to be taken. I also contacted my adjuster several time since checks been issue but have not got a call back yet .

First help me understand. I called in a claim this evening for a note edge that I dropped and the front screen cracked. the phone kept shutting on and off on his own. It cost $175 which I did not have to make the claim so, today December 21st I called to make the claim because I have the money and it they refuse to make the claim because they said it was over the 90 day period. Disputed the fact I’ve been paying Insurance this whole time on the phone. I talked to a supervisor who was reading from a script, Amber 18901 said I needed to write a letter to corporate, I asked for an email or a phone number so corporate. This chick said they were no emails, no phone the only way that they could get the corporate office is to write corporate the letter. Please someone, Help me understand in the 20th century that corporate doesn’t have an email or a phone number that the customers can call. Does anybody out there know how to handle this. I want all my money back from the last three years if they’re not going to replace my phone.

I had lost my phone while shopping on 11/19/2017 and filed a claim. After calling Assurant for 10 days, I was told again and again that my doXXXXent( ID ) was not accepted. On the 10th day they told it was accepted and today when I called the customer care I was told that my insurance did not cover the claim. Upon clarification I was told that the corporate office had rejected my claim. When I asked them the reason for the cancellation, they told that they did not know the reason for cancellation and asked me to send a letter to the corporate office. I asked if I could email you, they told me that you did not have any email id. All I had to do was send a letter.
I had representative from T-mobile also speak with them and still their answer was that my policy does not cover the terms. It is clearly written on the very first page that the policy covers theft/loss of phone too. Even the T-mobile representative confirmed that the insurance covered the theft/loss of phone with a deductible of $275.
I had spoken with Debbie, and I can give her representative ID once I hear back from you. I would not like to disclose her ID on a public forum.
I am very disappointed as it has been 10 days and Assurant is not giving me a proper answer.
Kindly help me out, I have spent a lot on the phone.

Claimed was filed but incorrect for a stolen/lost phone and I sent in my 2nd Proof of Lose and they told me i still have to pay for a phone I DO NOT HAVE because it was filed incorrectly. representatives sent me another email to do the proof of lose and I spoke to the supervisor Angela to see if everything had been taken care of and she told me although i have the police report and filed the proof of lost again like the representative sent me a second time there is nothing they can do i still have to pay for the stolen phone because the sent me a phone for to replace a broken one.

I would like to recover all the depreciation because all the walls, ceiling flooring in the basement was replaced in 2014 (brand new). Also the flooring in the main floor was replaced 4 years ago. All walls in the living, dining, kitchen, and bathroom were painted 6 months ago. Kitchen cabinets and guest bathroom cabinet were refaced as well. Back splash was added. The Kitchen and guest bathroom floor were nine years old and those two rooms were the only rooms in the main floor that has old flooring. Their replacement was on the way when the floor occurred on 8/26/2015. The interior of my home is practically brand new with work I’ve done to it personally. I do not get the non-recoverable depreciation penalty. Please refund the non-depreciation to me.

IM glad you getting paid I am not getting nothing and was told NOTHING for 2 month and than NOTHING was covered under my policy Not even mine… I was lied to ,by more than 1 person and after 2 months I get a phone call saying they working on it and they called back that day and they said to me O yes the estimate is done and waiting for approval and than Called me back and said all was DENIED !!! nothing is covered Cause wasn’t mine NOR the stuff in the cellar that was My kids from moving they didn’t live here so that wasn’t covered as well .. this is a JOKE …They were living here in Dec 2015 and this happen Feb 2016 to they moved to a 1 bedroom in Dec 2015 (late) and they took what they could fit in it and I have never in a million years here of this NEVER ..AND i still cant get ahold of noone to talk to me about this …IM writing a letter to the BBB cause this is not right what they doing to people ..
